Part 29 – Guardian Capability
Kashel, Lyam and Chain finally entered the gate of the office and were standing in his courtyard at this time.
Such gloomy magic energy burst forth from there, disturbing the comfort of all of them. Beside Chain was his protective spirit that had changed in his fighting form.
Then as they got closer suddenly the glass door of the office opened by itself. There's a strong wind coming out of there.
Between the winds was a very thin and clear thread that was heading towards them quickly. And the thread pierced through the bodies of the three of them.
As Kashel enters his subconscious, Chain and Bow are unaffected by the fine threads as they touch his body. Chain unleashed the power of his lightning element and instantly shattered the threads. Chain's lightning was able to strike that soul thread.
Lyam he was not affected as well, Lyam did not have a soul because his soul was in Kashel. The threads only penetrated him and had no effect.
While Kashel he looks silent due to the attack of the threads. In his subconscious he was standing in a dark, empty room.
Just staring at what was pointing at him, the thread shackled Kashel's legs and hands, but then a large eye was seen staring intently behind Kashel.
It was The Borders, he felt disturbed because there was another presence disturbing his place.
Suddenly the giant dragon gave off a powerful force that cut and destroyed all the threads that wrapped around Kashel's feet and hands.
Even Kashel who saw it was shocked, as there were those who harassed his place The Borders raged like that without having to affect the soul of Kashel first.
The dragon instantly unleashed such a powerful force in Kashel's subconscious, that power chased after and expelled something that was considered a nuisance by him.
Kashel who was aware of the force was about to attack until it came out of him tried to hold it hard. Even so, a little of the power of The Borders detached and still pursued the threads of the soul to its owner. Kashel gasped for restraining him.
He could not let the great power of The Borders pursue the threads of the soul of the Guardian Spirit that was out of control. He could have killed his master too because his guardian spirit was destroyed and that was not the purpose of Kashel coming here.
A GROAAAAR!
Screaming sounds.
WUSS!
Then a strong wind came out from the entrance of the office.
After which, from the direction of the door appeared the members from the Eastern Division who had been controlled by that Soul Controlling Spirit.
Chain's job here is to evacuate people. It's not so hard to stop people under that control.
With Chain's lightning power that could touch the spirit threads, one by one people fell unconscious. Here Lyam could not help, because if he helped it would only hurt the person he wanted to help. Along with his guardian spirit Bow, Chain evacuates the men he has been controlling.
Kashel and Lyam entered the building. Seeking the source of the Protective Spirit that controls the souls of the people.
On the way deeper into the hallway inside the office, the stronger the energy they both felt.
"What are you planning to do this time Kashel?" Liam asked as they approached the place where the out of control protective spirit was located.
"I'll try to save him." Answer Kashel.
"What if you can't do it?"
"I don't want to think about that, the important thing is that I'll try to save him first." Kashel.
"I won't let you be in Kashel's danger, if you can't act decisively I will." Liam said, Kashel did not answer a word after that.
They were at a door. Liam opened it hard. Seen in that place, there was a large enough eagle-shaped protective spirit behind a man who seemed to be his contractor.
The man's hand seemed to be bound by something so it looked lifted. Meanwhile, he was sitting with his head tilted like powerless, looking at Kashel like he needed help.
Kashel uses his protective spell reinforced with his magic energy, in fact Kashel rarely does this. But for the sake of saving others Kashel will try to do anything.
Kashel wanted to come, the owner of the protective spirit. Intending to encourage him.
Kashel knows what it would be like if a disproportionate force forced you to unite with him. Kashel has also experienced this. And Kashel hopes this guy can handle it too.
However, while trying to approach the man, Kashel focused off guard. Lyam at that time who faced him the eagle turned out to have a strong enough wind claw strength in addition to the soul controlling thread.
Suddenly one of the attacks hit Kashel and made Kashel bounce and injured in the arm.
Liam was angry to see that it was seen in the same place where Liam's body had also suffered the same injuries as Kashel's. Basically Lyam could get the same wound as Kashel, if the young man was injured.
That's why he couldn't let Kashel get hurt. Although Liam's wounds recovered faster than Kashel's, he also felt his pain.
Different from Kashel. Kashel could not quite feel what Liam was feeling, when Liam was so strong that he could feel it. Or the magic energy that Lyam took from Kashel was too much. They are both really connected.

The enraged Lyam replied to the wind element with the fire element he had never used. Since the wind element belonging to the Guardian Spirit was too strong, it made the fire element belonging to Liam grow bigger and quickly set the Protective Spirit on fire. Lyam was not afraid of the eagle's wind claws. Because the fire of Lyam was hit by the wind, the fire spread in any direction.
And make the office room also burned lucky there is a fireproof system that immediately lit when there is a fire of that size, making the fire spread slowly.
Seeing Lyam unleashing the fire element Kashel directly hit the man who was the guardian spirit contractor and protected him with a protective spell.
Lyam who darkened his eyes, began to burn the man's protective spirit. So the man screamed in pain for it too.
"Lyam stop it now!" Kashel shouted loudly. The fire element, which had not been extinguished despite being exposed to water, suddenly disappeared immediately after Kashel told Liam to stop.
Then Liam bound the Protective Spirit with the ability of the earth and water elements. Making it mud then hardened it so that the Protective Spirit only left his head.
Today Lyam shows the ability of the element is not just one that he often uses the wind.
But he is actually able to control many elements just because the element can damage he can not use it in the open.
"Hey come to your senses," Kashel shook the body of the man who had that blank look.
"Control your power, you must be able to control it." Kashel continued to try to resuscitate the man.
"Who?" He began to wake up.
That person started to become aware when there was black energy coming out from his body.
How could that black energy possess people. Kashel's mind was astonished to see the black energy vanishing before him.
Without Kashel realizing it was just a small fraction of the black energy that was exiting his body.
The man's magic energy suddenly increased and made Kashel bounce back from it but Liam caught it right away.
