The Borders
Section 100 – Influence of Fire Element Stones

"Let'soo!"

The four of them shouted in unison.

"Shadow!" Freda summoned his guardian spirit to capture them, the protective spirit turned into a net that managed to capture the four of them well.

"Thank God we are safe" Kashel said, standing in the darkness.

"We can't see anything here." Said Kyler reaching into his bag looking for a flashlight.

"Yeah!" Kashel frenzied himself he circled around running around inside the place.

His right hand was letting out fire by itself.

"What happened how to put this out?!" Kashel panicked, the more he panicked the more fire spread in his palm.

His friends only looked at Kashel like that, they did not know what to do. After all, Kashel looks fine.

"Yeah! I'm burning!" the fire is even bigger.

"Kashel calm down, don't panic like that, it's the influence of that elemental magic stone, that elemental magic stone seems to have a fire element." Kashel calmed down after hearing Argai's explanation. The fire began to shrink again but did not go out.

Kashel, who was not panicking, still shook his right hand, hoping that the fire would go out, but it was out of his control that he did not feel the heat. But it would hurt others if he touched them with his right hand.

"The flashlight is useless here, everything that's hot-based is broken." Kyler hit his flashlight but didn't want to light up either.

"It's Kyler we have Kashel at the moment to be a natural light." Freda. Kashel looked at his right hand.

"I won't hold that thing if I find it not held in my power so uncontrollable, I'll become a fire creature if I do." Gerrilla Kashel.

I guess, I've never used the fire element before, maybe that's why it's so unstable, if I use it I think I'm out of control. Kashel recalls, because lately he has started to use his magic often even though it is not elemental magic.

"Here is Kashel, lead our way. Flashlights are useless in this place." Freda toyed with her flashlight in front of Kashel with her flat face.

"Well," Kashel accepted, after all, that he was the only light there. And they also could not get out because their entrance was already tightly closed.

"I'm sure these ruins are quite dangerous" Kashel guessed.

"Right, as a result of the magic accumulated these ruins finally activated natural traps, not to mention the traps created by the inhabitants of this dead city. This ruin used to be a city." Argai.

"How can we find that magic stone if this place is as big as a city?" Kyler said in shock that he was silent.

"Unlike that, most of the ruins of this city have been buried in sand, the rest of this place is only the center of the city, already less than half of it." Argai.

"It's still broad." Freda.

"You've been to the ruins before?" kashel asked Argai.

"I'm an archeologist of magic from which you know." Argai introduced his true identity.

The Head Office sent an experienced person to them, the three people were astonished after finding out who Argai was.

"We have an expert here" Kyler said as he continued walking in the long, dark and endless hallway.

"Honestly, this is actually the first time. Normally I research magic artifacts not to the point of being stuck like this." Argai explained it casually, maybe because he was used to being trained and someday stuck in a place like now, Argai looks very calm.

After walking down the dark passage for some time, they finally reached a dead-end cave. We better rest for a while.

"You're fine to let your magic energy like that continue. It'll drain your energy as long as you know." Argai explained to Kashel.

"It looks like you're a strong fire element user huh, until that ability gets out of hand." Argai continued speaking again while paying attention to the surroundings.

Kashel remained silent as he looked at his right hand, now the only light there. Kyler wanted to explain but Freda elbowed him not to divulge who Kashel was to another unknown person.

"It would have been better if it had run out," Kashel muttered softly, the thing that happened to him doesn't mean anything really. Not long before Kyler sat down next to Kashel.

"Kashel you don't know how to control your magic?" kyler whispered.

"If I didn't know how to use magic, it would be very dangerous for everyone. Just so you know, it's out of my control." Kashel answered him immediately, Kyler realized how much magic power Kashel had.

Kashel was a pretty smart man, although all his life he was a commoner and really never knew about magic. But when fate chose him to use magic, he could instantly adapt and control everything, all his powers he instantly knew how to limit his magic even though he had never been taught at all. Although it is still with the help of Rainer's seal, but Kashel slowly, little by little, constantly learns to use his ever-expanding magic. Although he did not like it, he could not refuse his fate.

Only this time Kashel really felt out of his control, this fire that came out of his hand was not the power that Kashel should have used, but the magic power that came from The Borders itself, he said, it would not end until the magic stone that affected him was in the seal. Kashel felt lucky not to bring Rigel between them, because it would be so dangerous, Rigel must have gone berserk.

What if I go looking for a water element stone, my hand will let out water continuously. Kashel instead wanted to laugh at the thought of it.

"What's Kashel?" kyler asked curiously looking at Kashel's strange expression.

"It's nothing, it looks like I'm starting to go a little crazy." Kashel.

Suddenly there was a rumble as Argai touched something on the wall.

"It's a magic trap!" argai exclaimed, making Kashel, Freda, and Kyler instantly ready in an attacking position.

The flames started burning at every corner point of the cave. And move with the burning stones. It was a fire Golem.

Hot flames dripped from their bodies. Even their footsteps left embers.

"Great, getting hit by their attack would be fatal." Argai joined Kashel's group in making a circle.

Kashel, who did not know what to do because he had never used the element of fire before, thought of making a sword out of the fire that was not extinguished in his hand.

Kyler prepared with his water wave ability to extinguish the fire golems who wanted to eradicate them.

Kyler, Freda, and Argai prepare to attack along with their protective spirits.

"Kashel doesn't have a protective spirit?" in a crucial moment like now Argai instead discussed the issue of protective spirits.

"Yes I don't have one" replied Kashel. After concentrating what he wanted was successfully made. Because Kashel did not know how to control the element properly.

"Heat Kashel." Said Freda who was on his right side.

"I-I'm sorry." Kashel said he felt guilty about moving a little further forward. Despite their slow movements the golems were focused on attacking towards Kashel and the others. Kyler instantly froze some of them but the water melted down easily.
