Part 3 – Emergence of Border Portal

That afternoon they were all relaxing in the office break room. After a few hours of sleeping. It's also time for them to get acquainted with their new member Kyler.

Kyler who witnessed them all had yet to realize their respective abilities. He was curious about the strength of all of them.

Kashel was busy preparing their lunches.

"Kashel get me some water!" yelled one of his friends.

"Take it yourself, don't you have legs and hands!" Kashel was upset while continuing her cooking show.

"I'm tired Kashel my legs and my hands need rest." He said the one who spoke was Chain.

"Didn't you see me Chain, my hands and feet are busy." Kashel brought a bowl of soup and moved it to the table now.

"Well, lunch today, I can't wait to eat it." Luan's spirit he was very hungry because after coming home this morning he immediately overslept and did not eat.

"Please, Luan, let me put all the menus on the table first." Kashel.

It looks Rigel who plucks the shrimp from the plate that Kashel provides.

Spatula sound about Rigel's head. Kashel threw the spatula on target.

"Huhu, how must you Kashel. What if my head bleeds and gets infected because of you." Rigel whining.

"People like you won't have a head infection just because they're thrown spatulas." Kashel continued his work.

Erphan seemed to be asleep with his mouth open. Luan glared at him by dripping acid into his mouth so that the man woke up but with a puzzled expression.

While Anna and Freda they are busy taking care of their faces, noticing the presence or absence of eye bags after staying up all night. Then they look noisier fighting over eye cream. In the end the cream was splattered on the floor and they could now only stare at the cream with nanar.

Then Kyler he was busy observing everyone there thinking that everyone there was a collection of weird and silly people that he should have avoided. How could the attitude of a boundary guarding knight be like them, there was no aura of his arrival at all.

In the end Kyler thought of the people he would fight later, and intended to humiliate them all if he defeated him. He was laughing himself because of it.

I don't understand what the man is thinking right now, Kashel's mind is watching Kyler who thinks he's weird for laughing at himself.

"Well, the lunches are ready, it's time for us to eat!" Kashel excitedly called out to his friends and they started eating together.

There was laughter there, warmth at the dining table as they ate and talked.

"Kashel is better at cooking than any of us, haha." Rigel was happy to be able to enjoy a decent meal. But it appears that two women were offended by the words.

"What do you mean the food we make isn't worth it." Anna said suddenly, Freda held back her anger.

"How –" Erphan stuffed the fried chicken in Rigel's mouth so as not to continue his words.

"Haha, it's not that bad." Luan interrupted.

"Hey, if you don't want to die from cooking, they should both be quiet." Whispering Erphan to Rigel, Rigel nodded obediently.

Kashel only smiled in response to the trauma of the three of them, as he remembered how Erphan, Rigel and Luan begged him to Kashel alone who cooked no longer wanted if the two women were cooking it. At least let the Grizelle prepare their meals if Kashel is not in place.

The two women who looked upset finally started to continue eating them again. They were aware that they were both not good at cooking but could not accept that their cooking was insulted.

Kyler he enjoys his food. For him it had been a long time since he had enjoyed eating together like this. He ate alone without friends or family. What's cooked here is not just instant cuisine.

"You want to add more?" kashel asked Kyler who was on his right side he realized Kyler wanted to add his share, but he still felt awkward. Then, Kyler just threw his face in the other direction embarrassed.

"Eat as you please as long as you can still eat good food here. Now this place is your home too." Kashel smiled at Kyler. And Kyler was a bit hesitant about adding his share. Kashel then continued to eat while chatting with Luan who was right beside her left.

"Kashel I haven't seen Grizelle lately. You had a fight with him yes, I want to eat his cooking again." Said Luan curiously.

"I didn't fight, he came here this morning to bring me breakfast. You're the one who didn't get to meet him." Kashel.

"You cheated, why didn't you tell me and left me a little cooking when I was starving this morning." Luan Protests.

"As long as you know, yes, I won't let anyone eat the food while I'm in the place. Especially if the portion is for one person I won't share it with anyone, okay." Kashel.

"Huh! You're stingy, but I just love the cooking. Not the man." Luan said, Kashel still looks jealous.

At least, although he was weak he was useful in terms of understanding the feelings of others, Kyler's inner being touched on Kashel who was considerate of everyone.

Uh, I can't do this. I can't miss these freaks, I have a job here. Thought Kyler again.

"I'm done!" Kyler left the dining table.

"That boy really doesn't know manners." Rigel is still upset with him because of last night.

"It's okay Rigel he's new, and doesn't know how this place is." Kashel.

"But last night he asked you to duel and attack you. How could you have forgotten him, if there wasn't me. I don't know what's gonna happen." Rigel still remembered it clearly.

"Right, that boy!" Freda suddenly stood up he was annoyed with the explanation just now.

"It's okay. I wasn't hurt either thanks to Rigel taking care of me." Kashel.

"Stay, that's outrageous." Freda is still upset.

"Freda you don't have to be upset like that, from the look in his eyes soon the boy will invite us all to duel with him." Erphan.

"Huh? Really true?" Luan asked curiously and Erphan nodded.

"I hope you didn't destroy this office." Kashel looked frustrated thinking about it.

"Just calm Kashel, we're just going to play a game that will embarrass him. If we want to fight with him it will definitely be outside this place." Anna explained.

"But I hope you didn't make him battered." Kashel.

"He's not that weak as Kashel, we know he's a strong man after watching him. It's just that he can still be defeated due to his lack of experience." Luan explained again.

"Too so I don't have to worry." Kashel.

The spoon slipped out of Kashel's hand.

"What happened to Kashel?" Luan was shocked because Kashel suddenly fell silent.

"I don't know, all of a sudden there was a feeling of something passing through my chest just now." Kashel explained.

"That's not –" Luan's words were truncated.

"I don't think, after all, where it might appear in broad daylight." Kashel.

"You're right," Luan continued eating.

But Kashel's feelings became uneasy and uneasy after that. Outside his office was visible, a man wearing a black cloak was crossing his office yard nobody was aware of it.

After lunch they all relax in the office lounge. Until riots break out, Kyler suddenly challenges them all to a duel. Kashel entrusted everything to his friends. Believe that they will not make a mess.

However, after a while of Kyler's challenge. There was a strong wind that even entered Kashel's room. Kashel could not stand it anymore and he finally came out of his room.

Now the chairs in the lounge were no longer in place properly. There were some of his friends who were tied up with their feet on top. Some were somersaulting with their feet on top, some were full of flour. Some are busy laughing. Some are fighting Panco no one wins.

"Ka-li-an all really! After this clean everything! Or I'll be so mad at you!" Everyone was instantly speechless at Kashel's anger no one dared to look at him, except Kyler.

"After this we must clean it up."

"The chief aura is really creepy."

"It's rare that the chairman behaves that way."

"We just know it makes a mess of stuff. I feel guilty." Whispering friends.

The upset Kashel chose to remain silent in his room afterwards, no one went in there. Kashel felt bad, nor did he know why he was so angry with his friends. Though he should feel happy when his friends can be cheerful like that. Even Kyler can blend in.

After exiting his room he saw the lounge had been neat.

"Umm my friends want to apologize." Kashel lowered her head feeling guilty.

"Well Kashel join us here, we're not mad at you. It's only natural that you're angry because we're acting like little kids." Chain immediately embraces Kashel familiar no matter earlier as well as his other friends.

Just as dusk had arrived, there was a new case for them from the Head Office. Overcome the chaos created by dark spirits who have settled in the human world but are not found out, because the spirit is good at hiding.

"I want to rest." Complaints Freda.

That night there were only three people in the office. Kyler, Anna and Kashel. They both waited, time for their duty. Kyler wants a powerful and suitable enemy for him, and of course Kashel will assign him to deal with a dark spirit that suits his abilities and at this time he will be assigned along with Anna.

But until the moon is bright there is no sign of a border portal that will appear, if no more portals appear then Kyler and Anna will be sent as reinforcements to work with the headquarters.

Kashel, who was holding a glass, suddenly dropped it.

"What-what is this, how is it possible?" Kashel.

"Kashel what happened?" Anna came to Kashel who seemed surprised at something.

"Revelation!" Kashel immediately pushed the bodies of Anna and Kyler to stand behind him.

"Protective saint!" Kashel suddenly shouted.

THE DUAR!

A huge explosion occurred in front of their office. Fortunately, Kashel's office was not affected by the blast.

"What's really going on?" Kyler was confused not to understand.

"The border mortal appears here, ugh!" Kashel was drained of power from having used a protective spell large enough to avoid the explosion just now. The Border Portal appeared within his protective spell.

"What?!" Kyler and Anna are shocked in unison.

"This is my chance to test my abilities." Kyler suddenly ran out.

"Tu-wait, you can't be rash!" Kashel could not catch up to Kyler because he felt weak.

"Anna please cooperate with him. I'll recuperate for a moment." And Anna agreed to Kashel's request.

I can't do much with the portal here, but I can't stay still when my friend is in danger either.

Kyler faces a dark spirit who has just come out of a border portal. And it just so happened that his ability was a soil element and it could absorb Quirin's ice power and that left Kyler overwhelmed by it. Besides Quirin was losing big with his opponent.

Quirin has the form of a winged lion with a body that can be enlarged to double. While the Dark Spirit they were facing was like a goblin-shaped monster of a size slightly larger than Quirin and the earth element could absorb Quirin's water and ice elements, Kyler also helps out with the same abilities as Quirin but unfortunately it doesn't have much effect on the monster.

Anna comes to his aid, realizing that the one who emerged this time from the border portal is not a troublemaking spirit but a fighting spirit and they must be exterminated immediately so as not to make damage in the human world, because it is very dangerous.

However, before that they had to think of a way to close the border portal that was wide open. If it did not close it another Dark Spirit could have appeared.

Anna was able to keep up with the Dark Spirit because she had wind-type strength and her protective spirit was named Penrad who had the form of a giant white peacock. With her power Anna could split the power of that land. The land could not absorb the wind that belonged to Anna.

The arrogant Kyler did not want to lose and wanted to attack the spirit itself, here he did not realize from the other direction there was a giant fireball that would hit him. Kashel appears and protects Kyler using a protective spell.

"Kyler, we can't fight alone. We have to work together. Uhh! Don't be selfish or because you're going to hurt a lot of people." Kashel and Kyler were thrown because of the devastating attack. Kashel manages to protect Kyler. But due to a stone fragment that hit his head and dragged when thrown. Kashel was injured but not serious enough, he could still rise.

Suddenly Kashel who had risen stopped moving he stood staring, the light in his eyes disappearing as he stared at the Border Portal that was right in front of him.

"Great!"

"Hei Kyler quickly take Kashel away from there. Don't let Kashel get close to that portal!" anna shouted to rule Kyler, as she could not do so as a result of being hindered by the fight with the spirit of darkness.

"It's this shit that we're all afraid of if he fights." Anna Mumbled.

Friends come quickly. Inner Anna. He felt really overwhelmed.

Suddenly the portal strengthened and many dark spirits were summoned from there, they could not if they had to face all those spirits if only the two were strong enough.

Kyler, who was clueless and confused by Kashel, suddenly stopped moving, fortunately took Kashel to hide behind a tree so that the portal was no longer visible to Kashel. The outgoing spirit of darkness stopped as Kashel turned away from the border portal.

"I screwed up again" Kashel muttered after waking up, as he wanted to move his hand and found that Kashel was unable to move at the time.

"What's going on?" Kyler asked.

"There's no time to explain, you fight first to clean up this mess, right now I can't afford to move. I'm sorry."

"Please tell Anna and everyone to stop the portal from attacking the upper middle, then the trigger will be destroyed." Kyler only agreed to Kashel despite the many questions in his head right now.

Anna was already unable to endure it anymore, slowly her magic energy started to run out. But at the right time his friends came to his aid.

"It looks like we came on time," said Rigel.

"Just in the timing of your head! Kashel he's hurt" Anna explained. And Rigel looked shocked.

"There's no time to regret it now we have to solve this mess first." Chain said he was quite surprised by it.

"Well where should we attack?" ask Rigel.

"Kashel said, we have to attack the middle of the top of the portal to end the portal." Obviously Kyler who suddenly appeared joined them.

"Well, please cooperate with friends." Chain began to attack with his guardian spirit Bow who had a phoenix-like form.

Everyone was fighting with all their might against the dark spirits that might at least number five right now. But because of their cooperation, they had managed to destroy the Border Portal and get rid of the Spirit of Darkness.

They were grateful to still survive, despite having the big question of how could a portal appear in a place where the region was using a sufficiently powerful barrier spell.
