Lyam, Argai, Freda, Kyler and Kashel started running. They ran using their magic energy so as not to feel so exhausted. In fact, sometimes they have to jump some fragile stairs by being chased by hot lava that continues to rise quite quickly as well. On top, they also had to use magic symbols and fire element users to unlock. Luckily Lyam was walking in front so that Lyam could also open it.
The fire stopped just a few minutes later near the feet of Kashel.
Just then they started to rise in the other room again, this room was quite spacious not as small as the hallway they had all entered just a while ago. On all sides of the place it was emitting flames that were ready to burn them as it passed through the upper, lower, right, and left walls all emitting flames.
"What do we have to do to get through this place?" Freda asked him what he did not know. The power of his shadow could not possibly be strong to withstand the heat from those flames.
"Protective spell, we can pass through this place with a protective spell. Does anyone have the expertise of a powerful protective spell here." Everyone glanced at Kashel, his friends knowing that Kashel was an expert in using protective spells.
"Must be me again?" Kashel pointed to himself, and all of them nodded, Kashel could only sigh.
"I want to rest first. Kyler get your neck, let me treat it. After this you become my partner again to be the cooler of my protective spell." Kashel examined Kyler's neck with one hand and applied the wound healing magic potion like an ointment medicine.
Kyler understood right away, although there was a protective spell but the heat would definitely still affect them.
I am grateful to bring the right people here. Inner Kashel he did not expect, any man chose it because only hearing the desert and the ruins of Kashel chose it, they both had very helpful abilities for Kashel.
"Protective spell." Kashel's spell paper is burning. The sign of the mantra is already active.
"Wide!" Kashel said there was a transparent light like an enlarged ball surrounding Kashel. The protective spell Kashel mixed with his other magic energy to strengthen it. His friends began to gather near Kashel.
Kyler prepared with his ice magic as well and the five of them started walking side by side into that fire trap that kept burning and never extinguished, they had no idea how far the path they were going to go.
"This fire magic is really troublesome." Kyler continued to cast her magic, it's been half an hour they walked they didn't find the end. Kyler's magic to cool the hot flames began to weaken.
"Hold a little more Kyler," Kashel said encouraging Kyler, he also tried to exert all his energy despite being mixed with his magic energy, but Kashel's protective spell also originally attracted Kashel's body energy so that he felt fatigue, although the fatigue could be handled by The Borders's magic. As a human being, Kashel still had limits on using his strength, and it took him some time to recover.
Kyler started to weaken and so did Kashel. The two of them began to reach their limits, Liam was seen paying attention towards the front.
In this place because there was such a powerful magic seal, the portal could not be used. They had to fight manually.
"I'll throw you out of this fire." Liam said casually.
"What about you?" Argai asked, he still did not know who Lyam really was.
"You don't have to worry about me." Liam said he wrapped Kashel and his friends in the element of wind. His form turned into a Guardian as flames started to burn him as it came out of the Kashel barrier spell. Argai looked a little surprised.
"Hold off Kashel, I will throw you all out of this fire. Before your protective spell is completely destroyed." Lyam instantly throws them all in with a ball of wind as it quickly exits the fire coinciding with the protective spell being shattered and Kyler being exhausted.
With his ability Freda made a shadow net magic. So that the four of them will not be hit by the stone wall due to the strong throw from Lyam.
The four of them survived. But Liam hasn't come out of that fire. Kashel was seen holding onto his collar, overheating of course.
"You okay Kashel?" ask Kyler.
"I'm fine, just a little hot." Kashel's face looked pale. Luckily Lyam and Kashel had fire elements as well, so even if the fire was hot, they could reduce the heat.
Kashel could not stand it anymore and he grew stronger shaking his own collar which was now covered in sweat from the heat but not the burning he felt. Kyler could not help Kashel as he had also run out of energy and Freda was taking care of his partner in the other corner.
Why did Lyam stay in the fire. Kashel sat down, and Argai was seen looking at Kashel who looked hot in his eyes. He then wanted to reach into something in his pants pocket that was covered in magic clothes, but it was not so because the Guardian was seen emerging from behind the flames.
Kashel was seen looking at the Guardian with an upset look. The Guardian walked towards Kashel who was sitting on a rock and the Guardian standing in front of him, the Guardian body was seen emitting flames all over his body unlike when he changed in his human form Lyam. However, Kashel did not feel the heat anymore even though the Guardian's body was all burned, unlike when the Guardian was in the fire.
"How long did it take to get out of that fire?" Kashel finally protested.
"I'm sorry if it bothers you. But, in that fire I found a clue." Lyam explained to Kashel. He found a carving on the wall.
"You two look very familiar huh, I didn't expect that Liam was an honorable Guardian." Argai interrupts Kashel and Lyam's conversation, bowing respectfully to the Guardian.
Kashel was silent for a while, the Guardian was the same, he was not used to being so familiar with the person he just knew before knowing for sure the ins and outs of the person.
"Me and the Guardian are co-workers." Kashel explained that Kashel's remarks were not entirely false in fact.
"Is that so? I see you two as tied to each other. You two don't have a protective spirit either. It is rare for people without a protective spirit to exist, and to be close to each other." Argai guessed Kashel could not say anything more, Freda and Kyler did not want to interfere in the discussion.
"We better not talk about that. There's something important the Guardian wants to tell us." Kashel said he did not want to continue discussing his ties to the Guardian.
"Go back to your human form, Liam. Your form like that can make friends overheated." Kashel asked the Guardian, who did not seem so aware that his entire body was filled with fire.
The Guardian returned to the human form of Liam after hearing a request from Kashel without protesting even once.
