Section 66 – Rainer and Kashel Beat the Giant Snake

The snake screamed in pain. He's not dead yet.

"Kashel, are you okay?" Rainer asked Kashel who seemed to be very surprised.

"I-I'm fine, Uncle." Kashel regained his senses and swept his face filled with snake blood.

"It's disgusting." Kashel continued again, he felt nauseous and wanted to vomit because he looked at his blood-soaked hands as well as the stinging smell of blood stuck to his body.

"I need, eat to recuperate!" he headed towards Kashel and Rainer. Fortunately in the tunnel there was no one at all, if there were any more casualties would be food from the snake.

Rainer lifted Kashel into the air avoiding the giant snake's surprise attack.

"It looks like we should cut Kashel's head off, but first to make it easy, we should blind her eyes." Obviously Rainer then landed on top of a large rock.

Rainer darted quickly and attacked one of the snake's eyes. He blinded one of the snake's eyes.

GROOOOO!

The snake went on a rampage and began to tear down the walls around the tunnel intending to escape with a half-living body.

However, Rainer does not let it out because if it gets out the snake. There will be many casualties because of it. So, he tried to hold it.

Rainer swiftly smashed the second eye of the snake, leaving him completely blind. Rainer then picked up Kashel again with him quickly.

"But the head of the serpent is Kashel!" rainer's orders, from above Kashel swung his sword. The sword light was seen extending and approaching the helpless writhing snake.

SRAAAT!

The head of the snake was cut off completely.

ZRAAAAA!

Rainer jumped beside Kashel and the two of them ended up bathing the blood of the snake together.

"It's disgusting." This time it was Rainer who said that.

The snake slowly disappeared into black smoke. But strangely the blood from the snake attached to the body Rainer and Kashel did not disappear.

"I want to take a shower" Kashel murmured, becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

"We'd better clean ourselves up first." Take Rainer to the tunnel entrance.

.

.

.

It turned out that the tunnel door had been sealed tightly with a large rock. Rainer's hand was seen emitting his blue-black lightning.

THE DUAR!

The stone was shattered with a single fist from Rainer. There were people waiting in front of the tunnel. They were all shocked by the appearance of Rainer and Kashel covered in blood all over their bodies. Everyone just stepped away from fear.

Rainer who held back his emotions at the villagers went straight through them by staring at them all sharply, while Kashel he just subdued himself. He did not expect that there were people who were so cruel to others just for their own sake.

No matter the people who saw them Rainer came to the well that was right behind the village chief's house and washed himself with the water they took from there. After drying themselves with magic, they wanted to make calculations with the villagers before they left.

"Actually what do you think of working with the Dark Spirit like that?!" Rainer angrily looked at the villagers.

"What do you know! He is our God, and you guys destroyed him!" it turned out that the people from the village instead defended themselves, stating what they were doing was right.

"All of you are indeed truly human demons apparently." Rainer stared at them.

"You have to take responsibility for what you do!" the villagers shouted again.

"That's a reward to you for not appreciating the lives of others and underestimating the lives of others." Clearly Rainer, no one dared to challenge Rainer. They can only protest.

"Those who live happily above the lives of others should have a proper recompense." Rainer said immediately leaving the village area after that.

.

.

.

Until the end they do not know what really happened to the village. At least the two of them had already exterminated demons that could harm others who had stopped there.

The villagers were also unable to do anything else, they could only live their lives as usual.

.

"Uncle is there no punishment for people doing such evil?" kashel asked Rainer while riding their horse, Kashel wanted such a man to be given the proper law.

"There is nothing we can do Kashel, they live in a place far from the law, not to mention that humans can not all give a fair law to those who are guilty. But if it's the law of the Owner of this World, I'm sure it's a very fair punishment given by Him." Rainer explained to Kashel.

"Umm, Uncle's right. Only the ones who own this Universe have real justice." Kashel nodded as he also knew, humans can only live their lives well. At the very least, it is not so detrimental to the lives of others. Although humans still need other humans to be able to live.

Kashel and Rainer continue their journey westward in search of the sword of light. The journey of the two of them seems to be quite long because of course in the future there are still many obstacles.

.

.

.

Their journey finally entered the unknown forest, their goal to the sword of light was getting closer, but the closer they got to their destination the darkness also began to feel more and more concentrated. Even Kashel, who had no special vision without her spirit glasses, was visibly disturbed by the presence of dark magic energy.

"This place feels very terrible Uncle," said Kashel hugging his own body he felt goosebumps with the air he felt.

"There's a lot of dark energy here Kashel." Rainer looked at the whole place. That dark energy filled the entire forest and was powerful. Rainer wasn't even sure he could face the Dark Spirit if he met the strong one now. Still alive for Rainer is the greatest miracle to pass this place.

"Are we going to keep going, Uncle?" ask Kashel.

"We'll rest in a minute." Rainer replied, he was looking for a safe place to rest but saw that much dark energy. Anywhere would be extremely dangerous if they were to actually fall asleep.

Finally Rainer found a suitable place for them to rest near the small bushes, in the surrounding there is a spring that is not so big as a pond only the size of a hole in the bucket around which there is natural stone.

Rainer avoids places that have a lot of water and deep water so that events drawn by the tendrils of darkness do not recur. Although he did not know what would happen if he rested in this place, whether to get even more severe interference in a different way, Rainer could only bet.

.

That night Kashel and Rainer decided to take turns, with Kashel sleeping first because he was already feeling very tired.
