The Borders
Section 50 – Protective Spell Exam

It was not felt that Kashel who had been in the last year began to enter the chapter on the protective spell.

At the beginning of the lesson they are reminded again about the basics about the protective matra that they have learned in the previous class.

Now they were required to be able to paint protective spells well.

Of course Kashel who was an expert in protective spells easily drew a magic emblem on the protective spell.

The form of the spell is different from the pentagram and hexagram spells whose shape is commonly used. This spell has different lines than other spells. Each of his lines had to be made in sequence, in order to make his abilities effective and the spell had two forms. A deflecting shape and a reflecting shape.

Kashel looks very painstakingly drawing shapes from the protective spells he makes. The shape they learned in this academy is a form that can be fended off because this shape is easier to draw for school-sized children and there is no experience.

They were assigned to draw ten symbols of the same protective spell.

Many of the disciples looked confused in drawing the symbol of the protective spell. Because among them there are indeed some who do not know how to draw it at all.

"How is Kashel done, you should be faster than others to do this kind of task." The teacher came to Kashel, who happened to have finished drawing her spell paper.

"It's over." Kashel looks smiling staring at the protective spell paper he drew.

"This spell paper will be tested as a sign of whether this spell paper is useful or not for you. Follow me." The teacher said then he told Kashel to follow him out.

Kashel followed the guidance teacher to the practice field there, the guidance teacher then took out his protective spirit.

Kashel activated the protective spell he made, he felt palpitating, nervous at this test of his practice.

"You ready?" ask the teacher at Kashel.

"Yes, I'm ready Master." Kashel assured himself that he was ready for his teacher.

"I'll start attacking, the Protective Spirit attacks the boy." Kashel's teacher gave orders to his guardian spirit.

"Protective spell!" kashel said the sign activated his protective spell.

An attack was seen reflected off and disappeared after approaching Kashel. Kashel's protective spell successfully passed the test. The teacher was not so surprised by Kashel's achievement.

"Congratulations Kashel, you have already completed this test and did well for the protective spell.

"For everything else I won't test it because I'm sure it will definitely be useful as well." The teacher told him about Kashel's graduation.

The guidance teacher had no doubts about Kashel's ability as she had often seen the ability of her famous barrier spell.

"You can rest first, while waiting for your other friends to finish the exam." Obviously the teacher then left Kashel alone in the field, Kashel was pleased that he was declared to have graduated.

Kashel then turned to the left and to the right. Then looking out at the forest for some reason Kashel felt like someone was watching him from a tree in the direction of the forest. Kashel immediately left where he stood.

It turned out that from there it was true that someone was watching Kashel. He is the Guardian who now watches Kashel remotely.

"Is it just my feeling, huh?" Khel asked himself once more. Then Kashel shrugged his shoulders stating no problem with it. After all there was nothing dangerous that the terrace threatened him.

The Guardian then disappeared from there. Once he saw there was nothing to worry about with Kashel.

.

.

"Why did I feel the same energy as Liam?

"Maybe it's just my feelings. He is the Guardian. I won't deal with him anymore, won't." Kashel made small talk to himself.

At that moment Kashel glanced to his right and he was surprised to see the person in black robes looking at him from afar.

The startled Kashel immediately looked on completely but it turned out that no one was there if what he saw was really Lyam.

"Why do I think of that man, don't think of him anymore. Don't." Don't." Kashel spoke while patting both of her cheeks reassuring herself.

Seen one by one the students who had finished painting the spell began to be tested one by one, among them there were those who did not pass the spell failed and were injured because of getting an attack.

The disciple looked disappointed that he had failed the spell exam, although injured he could still stand up well.

Kashel only saw that all those who were practicing from afar did not intend to approach at all that he was wrong - he would instead be challenged by the disciples there. So Kashel preferred to be alone.

"Why does it feel sleepy huh, lately I feel my life is a little calmer."

"Will I feel it if I am free from this place?" Kashel then closed his eyes impatiently waiting for that day.

No matter how long the sleeping Kashel was surprised by something, he was surprised that he could continue to sleep in the open like that without any protection unlike his usual self.

"It seems that I feel too peaceful to think that many people don't like me" Kashel muttered to himself, then he smiled lamenting his fate.

The academy bell had rung the mark of their lesson hours having ended, Kashel also left where he was sitting. Because it's already entering lunch hour.

He went to the academy cafeteria and chose his lunch there. As usual, no one wanted to approach Kashel at all, even though Kashel was thought to be not there.

Kashel enjoys his own lunch he does not care anymore with fake friends who only approach him when there is a desire.

By himself like this he felt at peace. There is no burden of the mind that needs to be carried.

"It seems after this I will go to the academy's library alone." Kashel muttered and then left from his seat.

Kashel felt like he was being watched but he had no idea who was watching him. Feeling that it was just his feelings, Kashel did not take care of him. From the moment Lyam left, Kashel began to feel that feeling.

The days were not as usual really calm never felt this comfortable in his school days, he hoped those quiet days would last forever.

The material of the barrier spell did not feel like it was over this time. Kashel will enter the sealing spell theory.

Perhaps in this material the value of Kashel will fall because he cannot magic, although he can make his spell symbol. Maybe only half of that value he could get inside this material.

In recent months, his classmates have neither bullied him anymore nor talked about him anymore, though Kashel has no idea what caused it.

"Lately I feel like no one's talking about me anymore what's going on anyway?" in the end, Kashel was curious because he felt that something was wrong, not usually everyone behaves like that to him.

But until the end, no explanation gave Kashel a bright spot. Kashel did not know if he should be grateful or feel strange about it.
