The Borders
Section 40 – Spiritual Academies
The Spiritual Academy was located in the middle of the wilderness, far away from the populated settlement and the place was shrouded by quite powerful magic spells. The academy looked extremely elite even from afar looking like an extremely majestic palace.

Whispers were heard as Kashel entered her classroom. In Kashel's class there are thirty students and students who are selected specifically to fill the classroom. Kashel was accepted in class C. Classes with lowest level. Classes where there are rarely strong people here. Not like in class A who is famous for his strong people.
That's where he should be if he has magic energy derived from his family, but Kashel does not have it all and he does not mind it. He just wants to go to school quietly. It doesn't matter if it's in class C. Just hope people don't bother him.
However, because of his name that contains the surname Kendrick immediately Kashel became the subject of scorn of his friends.
The failed Kendrick was the title for Kashel at the academy. Kashel does not care and does not want to bother with it all. At this school Kashel rarely spoke, actually the same as the time in his residence.
Kashel also mostly only stayed in class. He only went out during mealtime and preferred to be alone in class, so that people would not judge him.
Although the actual Protective Spirit would have no effect on Kashel, it was a direct harsh treatment. Kashel also cannot avoid it if it hits him human, although Kashel can be a bit of martial arts due to training from his family, but he could not fight those whose stamina was already above that of an average human.

During the few months of school Kashel managed to live it well, getting good academic grades as well. But unfortunately when in practice Kashel got a big zero, it affected his value even though he was good at learning. Because what is needed in this academy is a qualified magic ability.
Kashel was actually ashamed of not being able to do anything about it. He hopes he will be expelled from the academy because it is not a suitable place for him.
But the school teacher could do nothing because Kashel was the main descendant, although Kashel's grades were still comparable to the average for the school. If he had the magic energy Kashel would be one of the smartest people in the academy.

In the classroom during the first few months of learning, the new learners are taught an explanation of their magical world. Occasional practice in hours of practice, but only try and determine the elements they can use to fight.
There is nothing special about the C class. They have elemental abilities but their elements are not so strong.

Kashel is seen reading his book at break time.
"Magic spells were once taught by the Guardian to the Kendrick family, and the Kendrick family taught them to special people." Kashel flipped the history book, in fact he had read this book before but Kashel wanted to repeat it again.
"People outside of the Kendrick family then develop magic spells that become more developed in accordance with the development of the era.
"Sealing spell and barrier spell.
"Healing spells and magic potions are not necessarily useful for ordinary human use, but can be dangerous and useful for people who have magic energy in their bodies, there are hypnotic spells and lastly forbidden memory-removing spells.
"The "barrier spell, was successfully created and could be used without having to use magic energy. Using special spell paper, and using ink with a mixture of human blood. While this hypnotic spell is the most basic spell that does not need to use magic energy when using it.
"The barrier spell made them as if binding a contract with that paper. The paper would turn into a magical shield to protect them from the interference of magic.
"This spell is useful for humans who have a high sensitivity to magic energy and are easily affected by the Spirit of Darkness because sometimes there are humans like this, but do not have magic energy or inner eyes.
"However lacking from this barrier spell, the person without magic energy who wanted to use it should be able to memorize the exact shape of the intricate symbol that would be drawn on the spell paper without the slightest mistake. So that rarely there are ordinary people who can use it because a little paper is wrong it will not be useful.
"And the other shortcomings of this barrier spell, can drain energy on the body of the user.
"In today's times this spell is rarely used, because many people already lack confidence in magic. Unlike in ancient times where magic was so famous that even ordinary people wanted to learn it." Kashel studied the real science.
Kashel read the book carefully.
"The sealing spell also has a symbol but this spell can never be used if it does not have a qualified magic energy, only the people can use this spell."

"Guardians always look after Kendrick's main family." Kashel continued reading the show in the chapter about his family, Kashel seemed to think.
"Umm, have I ever met him? He must have been a great man, but lived for hundreds of years what he was not lonely about.
"Looking at the dead in front of him, why would I feel sorry for him if I thought of that?" Kashel muttered to himself while continuing to read his book.
"The Borders the Border Dragon, he chose to turn his form into a Guardian conscious form in order to maintain the peace of the two worlds because his great power could be a threat. And the Guardian's conscious form chose the Kendrick family as his confidants."

"But why now the Kendrick family likes to demonize the Guardian as a threat. They think the Guardian is endangering the world, but actually the Guardian's presence is keeping the two worlds at peace." Kashel did not understand the thoughts of his family at this time.

"Boundary Guard Knights are those who are bound or connected life and death with their protective spirits.
"The original Protective Spirit was the Spirit of Darkness who chose to side with humans.
"Those who are bound cannot part with their protective spirit for more than twenty-four hours. If that happens they'll die." Kashel who read it was shocked. He was terrified of such a relationship.
But Kashel did not know, almost all of the people with special abilities were very proud of their strength despite having weaknesses that put their lives at risk.
"Guardian, he has no contract with anyone. Because the Guardian is a form of the border of two worlds. Dark and bright, he should not need a contractor.
"What kind of person would want to sign a contract with the Guardian. He is the counterweight to magic energy. His strength must be huge. And it was terrible. But for whatever reason she needs to bond with others, right what this book says." Kashel.
"Guardians are the conscious form of The Borders the Dragon Border. No one knows for sure why The Borders chose to be in the Guardian's conscious form. History never explains it.
"The person who tied the contract with the Guardian must be a very cool person, if that really happened." Kashel speaks for himself. This was the mind of Kashel when he was ten years old at the time.
"The "protective spirit can only interact with people who are attached to them, if it wants to interact with others. It was like they were talking to an animal.
"Border Guard Knights gain elemental abilities or their strength increases when they contract with the Guardian Spirit.
"The one who binds the contract with the Guardian Spirit on the verge of death, will be considered a failed Boundary Guard Knight. Because usually these people do not have strong abilities.
"What the fuck? You shouldn't underestimate others like this." Kashel protested with the book he read.
"People with magic abilities and inner eyes, but have no protective spirit. The energy within his body would be chaotic, it would invite the Dark Spirit to devour their existence. Because when lost in the human world this is what the spirits are looking for, people with magic abilities can make the Spirit of Darkness become strong, if the Spirit of Darkness manages to prey on it.
"The Spirit of Darkness that is lost and does not find prey or become the Protective Spirit of a person will not be free to roam during the day. If they were reckless then the sun would destroy their existence.
"That is what makes the Protective Spirit and people with special abilities must inevitably have to bind contracts. The end goal is to survive.
"But with this power, they grow different from others and it's worth being proud of." The end of the explanation in the book.
"What is proud of?
"Oh no, I can't protest many things either, after all I who are ordinary people will never understand their way of mind.
"They are strong people, who can keep the balance of the two worlds. I salute them for the sake of protecting everyone. Until whenever I can never do it." Kashel smiled as he closed his book muttering to himself.
He did not realize that there was a woman who was sitting sweetly in front of him.
