Now Kashel and Lyam are already standing in front of The Borders Organization Headquarters, an office consisting of 12 floors and has dozens of spacious work spaces. Although his work for a whole week was on the field, after the task was completed they had to return to the Head Office afterwards.
Whispers began to be heard as Kashel and Liam entered the Head Office.
"Hey, isn't that Kendrick who failed?"
"He's alive apparently."
"...."
Many conversations passed through Kashel's ears.
I still hear everything. Kashel thought, not expecting his sharpened sense of hearing could make Kashel unwell as it turned out that there were many people talking about him secretly.
Kashel was immediately guided to his room when he handed over the administrative letter about his current duties.
Kashel's office is on the 6th floor. In this department there are many people who are not familiar with Kashel and are super busy with their work.
It seems like this room is devoted to the people from the branch office assigned to the Head Office. Kashel just understood this.
"Kashels!" Dirga welcomes Kashel.
"Dirga!" kashel exclaimed in disbelief that he would meet Dirga here.
"I didn't expect to see you here." Dirga salutes Kashel familiarly.
"Why are you in this department?" kashel asked curiously.
"Ah I'm in charge of this department now and a week ahead." Dirga.
"I'll be your boss." Dirga muttered doubtfully, knowing Liam who was the Guardian beside him.
"Don't worry like that, I'm glad you're the boss." Kashel embraced Dirga, but after seeing the gazes of the people. Kashel immediately stopped the action.
"Ah I forgot, our closeness here cannot be too conspicuous as it should be." Kashel whispered.
"But I want to be familiar with Kashel, we rarely meet." Dirga said he felt uncomfortable because Kashel was being very affectionate with him.
"You should be fair as the head of this department, don't make others jealous of me. I'll go to my desk, then." Kashel bowed respectfully before leaving, and so did Lyam. Dirga felt more unwell because of it.
......................
Kashel tidied up his things.
"Who are you from which department?" asked a man and his girlfriend who was sitting at his side table. From the office desk he was only hindered by the teak wood barrier which if they stood could see the person at the side table, so that he could still communicate even in a different place.
"I'm from the Dusk Boundary Division." Kashel said directly, the person behind the barrier immediately stood looking at Kashel from above his barrier.
"Seriously?!" bemused.
"What else am I not telling you, why is it?" tanya Kashel is still tidying up her desk.
"I am the Head Office representative for this joint department. My name is Joan and Lucy's partner is gonna help me.
"My name is Kashel and she is Liam." Kashel introduced himself now that he was looking at Joan politely, Joan instead added to his curious gaze.
"You're Kendrick?" joan asked a little thought. Kashel remained silent, though carrying the name behind his name. Now it's nothing more than a name. He was banished from the main family.
"That was, yes." Kashel said, making Joan stupefied. Then Joan intended to frighten Kashel with her great magic energy.
"What's wrong?" kashel was puzzled because Joan addressed Kashel as such. Kashel had been feeling the pressure of the magic energy of the people in the Central Office since his presence there. But, it remained that for Kashel there was no stronger pressure compared to The Borders and the influence of dark energy.
After doing so, Liam met Joan sharply. And even made the young man shrink made. And then sit back in his chair.
"Huh? Why?" Kashel was confused looking at Lyam whose expression suddenly changed.
"Get it around, on the person who's challenging you." Said Lyam, Kashel looked like a confused person, he felt that there was quite a large amount of magic energy coming out of Joan's body but Kashel thought it was common.
Surprisingly, the person who was with the Kendrick youth had an even more sinister aura, just with his gaze I was like being stabbed.
Though the eye color of Kashel and Liam is the same, even though the eye color of Kashel a little dimmer. But it would still be obvious if Kashel was not wearing glasses at the moment, Kashel, if he is outside, likes to wear clear glasses that reflect light from the color of his eyes so that people do not see the color of his eyes that are different from ordinary humans clearly.
However, lately Kashel has never again used her anti-spirit glasses and only uses glasses with ordinary lenses. Perhaps he had already accepted his destiny better than he had three years ago.

Dirga came making the command look like he was thinking. "Tonight you will be tasked with tracking the Dark Spirit around the city and each team consists of two different offices, so one team has four people.
"I'll be working with the kid from this Dusk Boundary Division!" his shout embraced the familiar Kashel.
"Ah right, I was actually confused as to who to pair Kashel with. All right, the Head Office will pair up with the Dusk Boundary Division."
All of the other branches were whispering observing Kashel, Kashel clearly hearing what they were talking about in fact. But, Kashel just sighed he did not want to protest, while Liam he just flat expression nothing changed.
...----------------...
That night as they all prepare for the mission Joan, Kashel, Lucy and Liam are preparing. Lucy seems very interested in Liam's good looks.
"Hey what is your Protective Spirit?" joan asked Kashel who was focusing on looking at their destination map.
"Well..." Kashel looked at Lyam.
"I don't have a protective spirit." Kashel looked at the map again.
"What's? How could you who is weak not have a protective spirit." Shocked Joan, seeing the gaze of Liam's eyes that had been holding back the anger made Joan goosebumps in fear.
Joan was not afraid of Kashel but was more afraid of the person beside her.
"Hey, we've got to do this job well." Kashel said he did not want to talk about it anymore, knowing that Liam was disturbed by Joan's question.
Kashel already knew about Joan underestimating him. But Kashel did not care, he was ordinary towards people who treated him equally, underestimating him. It's been a lot, that's what Kashel thought.
"I'll protect you, if anything overwhelms you." Said Joan kindly offering herself. Lucy and Liam just kept quiet to see the behavior of Joan who kept close to Kashel no matter what the purpose.
"Thank you, don't think about it, I can protect myself. So as much as possible I won't trouble you." Kashel smiled kindly.
"Although I may be weak, I have met many things and to this day I still survive it is a miracle." Kashel said again.
"Come Kashel." Finally Lyam who had been silent opened his voice.
"Well Lyam a really cool guy huh." Lucy also opened her voice in awe of Lyam's charisma.
And you're wrong to have been amazed at this heartless creature, miss. Kashel's mind wants him to pat his head.
