The Borders
Part 53 – Cooperation Kashel and Rainer

"You better go Kashel, open your glasses." Rainer told Kashel to leave. Rainer could not underestimate the Dark Spirit he was fighting.

Kashel then held onto Rainer who was wounded. The troll then unleashed its power again and fired an ice element towards Kashel and Rainer.

"Protective spell!" kashel shouted, this time Kashel activated his protective spell.

Rainer's still-active protective spell on Kashel's body was united with Kashel's protective spell, so that the attack could be repelled by the two of them. So that for some time the attack stopped, Rainer who rested for a while turned out to have recovered from his injuries.

"I think I should be serious this time. Thank you Kashel for helping me recover." Rainer stood with his horses attacking.

"Uncle, is it okay?" kashel asked still worried.

"You'd better worry about yourself, young man." Rainer then sped at full speed Rainer's left eye looks turned red and his strength increased several times. Rainer attacked the entire Dark Spirit's vital point.

The already overwhelmed Dark Spirit could not do much after Rainer used his serious power.

The creature had been injured with several lightning strikes on the body of the Troll. The troll eventually disappeared into black smoke which slowly disappeared on its own.

Slowly the space that the Dark Spirit created turned back into his usual bedroom. Room number 666 is not as scary and dangerous as before.

The exhausted Rainer sat on the floor near the sofa room after that, he leaned there. Then take the cigarette box in his pocket and open it, then pick it up a bar burn it and suck it.

He really enjoyed the cigarette smoke that passed through his lungs.

"Uncle, are you okay?" tanya Kashel walked towards him limping.

Then Kashel saw the wound on Rainer's hand gradually heal and the scar disappeared quite quickly.

"Well, Uncle has the ability to regenerate?" kashel asked in amazement.

"Kashel if you want this kind of power you can get it." Rainer said as he continued to smoke his cigarette smoke. Kashel immediately shook his head.

"No I don't want it, Uncle." After saying such a thing Kashel suddenly fell and was unconscious. Apparently he was holding himself back who had run out of stamina because he was very worried about Rainer.

"You should worry more about yourself than anyone else, Kashel."

Rainer then stood up lifting Kashel's unconscious body onto the bed. Then he walked towards the window and sat himself on the sofa by the window while smoking his cigarette there.

Not long after, a black-robed figure came over to Rainer.

"Are you okay Rainer?" asked the black-robed creature to approach Rainer.

Flying through the window, he stood in front of Rainer, staring at him with his red eyes, his face invisible as it was covered with black magic.

"As you can see, I'm not well but I'm not sick either." Obviously Rainer as he continued to smoke his cigarette leaning on the sofa, relaxed.

"Master Guardian, so that's the kid you're talking about." Rainer looked at Kashel who was soundly asleep. The creature that turned out to be the Guardian was also looking at Kashel.

"I hope you can take care of her until the time comes, Rainer." Said the Guardian entrusting Kashel to him.

"Okay, my lord." Rainer directly replied to the Guardian seriously this time.

"I didn't expect to find it, when I chose to find another way to remove the dark energy that would devour my existence." The Guardian looked at his palm and then at Kashel.

"The kid that interested me since he was born into this world, it turns out he's the guy, the guy I've been looking for.

"But he can change my mind, if it was me who used to be maybe when I met the right person I wouldn't give him time for freedom at all."

"However, this time seeing all the sadness of this child, whatever his choice with his strength he got I will always support his decision, whether it be on a dark or light path.

Guardian does look a little changed than usual, Guardian who never cared about the situation of others turned into a person who cares, even asked the situation Rainer.

Rainer felt the Guardian had changed slightly from its former nature, a being that had no feelings at all.

What exactly did you see from this kid, so you could change drastically like this. Inner Rainer did not believe Kashel could change the Guardian's ruthless stance.

Creatures who previously knew only to guard the borders of the two worlds, no matter what happened to those around them essentially their duties were carried out.

"Do you want to channel energy to the child?" ask Rainer.

"No, I'll let him rest in peace, because if he uses my energy he'll wake up in shock. Like last time.

"I don't want to interfere with his mental health for the next few years, let him be happy at his own will." Liam then left after that, he disappeared without any trace.

"It looks like I should rest too," Rainer sped up spending his cigarettes wanting to sleep and continued his activities the next day. At last, until the sun had risen, Kashel had not yet opened his eyes.

It turned out that the Troll attack last night completely drained Kashel. In his entire life, he was first exposed to the attack of the Dark Spirit directly.

Luckily Kashel used a protective spell to keep him from being seriously injured, but because of that Kashel instead fell asleep longer than usual.

Perhaps this was also the result of the dark energy draining his stamina before fighting with the original form of the Dark Spirit.

As the sunlight began to rise Kashel slowly opened his eyes, he felt a deep slumber after suddenly falling to his knees for worrying about Rainer.

"Uncle!" Kashel immediately woke up after remembering the incident last night. He then saw Rainer sitting on the sofa relaxing while sipping his coffee.

"Oh so you're already aware of Kashel." Rainer stood up while examining Kashel.

"Eat this," Reiner offered a vitamin drink so that Kashel drank it and his strength could recover.

"Thank you Uncle, thank God Uncle is fine." Kashel looks relieved to see Rainer who is fine.

"You shouldn't have to worry about Kashel, worry about yourself." Rainer returned to his seat and started reading the report paper.

Rainer was busy researching the task they were about to receive next, though, it's not tonight they're working on it but Rainer is really planning everything carefully so they don't get hurt like before especially he has to look after Kashel as well.

Kashel got out of his bed and started to approach Rainer, he also wanted to know what the man was up to.

"Do you want to help me?" rainer asked Kashel who approached him.

"If there's anything I can do for you, I'll help you, Uncle." Kashel accepted it without refusal.

"Alright please help me compile this report," Rainer gave Kashel a laptop and a thick stack of paper to leave the young man stunned.

"So, are you up to it?" Rainer looks unsure of Kashel.

"Umm, I'll try Uncle." Kashel nodded confidently.

"Well before that let's have breakfast first, I don't want you to fall unconscious from doing that much reporting work." Take Rainer before continuing his work.
