The Borders

The Borders
Part 124 – Rise of Other Magic

"Lend me the power of your senses, so that I can meet the soul container." Kashel wanted to stop Lyam but it was too late, when the words were said. Kashel felt all his senses become sharp. Kashel fell down while covering her ears in surprise.

"I'm sorry Kashel, this ability. Currently it is only temporary. Don't you just lament it, use this power to track your friend's whereabouts now. Kashel I will seek you with this power."

All the senses of Kashel were sharpened, Kashel could only be silent in feeling the whole place around him though not looking around him Kashel felt able to see around him, even the sound of water droplets was loud in Kashel's ears.

Horrifically. That's all Kashel can think of now.

After learning that he saw it was just an illusion that Kashel could breathe a sigh of relief again and lean against the wall.

Kashel's feelings were chaotic, he couldn't focus, and Kashel basically couldn't control that ability well. There was nothing Kashel could do but sit leaning against that narrow passageway.

BRACKET!

A BLURG!

The sound of stone walls being smashed near Kashel. Kashel scrunched his eyes. He did not close his ears again feeling useless, it was the Guardian who had stood before Kashel.

"So how are you?" the Guardian asked Kashel.

"Very bad." Kashel said that even the voice of his words felt very loud, in fact what made Kashel suffer the most was his ears that became very sensitive to sound.

"You're just not used to it" the Guardian said, Kashel only sighed resignedly.

"Will this ability continue to be used?" kashel asked, covering his ears. His face looked pale uninspired but he tried to keep going. They are both walking now.

Footsteps can be deafening like this, even anything that touches my skin can really feel good, even though it's water vapor and air though. The olfactory need not be asked, Kashel did not want to think about it anymore.

"Not this is just temporary." The Guardian seems to focus on its senses. He tracked down the whereabouts of Kashel's other friends. And found them facing the Spirit of Darkness that inhabited this place. They are far away in different places.

"We need to see them." Kashel.

"The light sword."

NGIII!

Failing to find that feeling Kashel preferred to cover his ears with both hands again and the sword of light did not appear.

"Let me fight" the Guardian said.

This time he who pulled out the sword of light and destroyed the wall was the Guardian, Kashel he told him to follow him alone. Kashel looked completely exhausted. He should also focus on controlling the protective spells just in case around. Kashel again leaned against the wall. It was seen that he was sweating cold even though Kashel's body was indeed wet, but that cold sweat looked different.

I can't take it anymore, I can't handle this feeling, what I have to do to deal with it. Kashel he felt completely dizzy, his head dizzy due to his ability.

Even Kashel felt the black core and magic stone of that element at once, as yet unaccustomed to Kashel could only feel that the stone was really somewhere and there were still quite a number of rooms they had to go through.

Meanwhile, the black magic stone he moved around and lived, was eyeing their existence.

"Kashel are you okay?" anna asked in a loud voice, Kashel looked goosebumps in shock.

"Just whisper Anna, I have a hearing problem right now." Kashel spoke softly while raising his hand.

"All right, I'm sorry." Anna spoke very slowly.

"That's better" Kashel looked at Anna with a happy smile. Although it still feels loud, but it's better.

"Control that ability Kashel." Speak Lyam through the mind.

"You speak so easily." Kashel protested, only trailing the Guardian.

However, Kashel quickly stared at something that was coming towards him. It was the scales of a poisonous mermaid. Kashel immediately raised his hand reflexively. The water element instantly made an ice shield for Kashel. Even Kashel himself was surprised by it. His abilities were out of his control due to Kashel's lack of focus at the time on his magical arrangements, another Kashel magic despite the restrictions that Kashel made, not to mention due to the influence of the black magic element Stone.

Anna turned back in shock at the ice wall that Kashel had made. Even Kyler who had been on one task with him had never made such a thick and broad wall, in a time when things were not going well.

Kashel looked at his palm. The Guardian just stared at Kashel then continued on his way, it was fine for Kashel to waste his magic energy carelessly.

Anna felt a powerful magic energy emanating from Kashel's body. The magic energy that Kashel always hid.

"Are you currently unable to properly control your magic Kashel?" asked Anna Kashel whose pale face was smiling thinly.

"I don't know, I don't feel anything." Kashel said that because of his sharpened senses, Kashel did not know that now his magic energy was not in his control well because the sharpened senses dulled Kashel's feelings in controlling his magic.

"We'd better meet with Luan as soon as possible." Anna said she was worried about Kashel.

The Guardian smashed the nearby wall again. There was Dirga who was fighting and he himself had just managed to deal with the Dark Spirit who attacked him.

Without further ado, they immediately rushed off to look for Luan because the Guardian felt that the man was injured. Kashel panicked as he recalled the illusion he had seen earlier, Kashel could sense Luan's whereabouts as well, when the Guardian destroyed the wall that separated them Kashel immediately shot before Luan who was about to be pierced by the scorpion-shaped Spirit of Darkness and he immediately froze the body of the Spirit of Darkness. Just as Kashel clenched his hand the scorpion was smashed into pieces into a clear grain of ice crystals which then melted with water.

Kashel's friends felt a huge magic energy coming out of Kashel's body Kashel's red eyes glistening at that moment and then he sat down.

Luan boldly checked the state of Kashel. When Luan examined her there was nothing strange about Kashel that her magic flow was fine, only that her magic energy was much stronger than before.

Before long Kashel slowly regained her composure, her sense-sharpening magic ability began to disappear. Just as that ability disappeared, Kashel fell unconscious. And the Guardian of course caught him directly.

"Kashel it's okay he's just exhausted, he'll wake up if his condition has recovered." Luan explained to her other friends. Kashel was carried by the Guardian on his shoulders.

No one believed the Guardian would do that to humans, if they did not see it before them.

Guardians for special ability owners are reputed to be personal, cold, ruthless and heartless.

Even everyone thought the Guardian had a cruel murderous aura. But when they saw the Guardian willing to carry a human like that, the cold-blooded killer stamp on the Guardian disappeared in the eyes of the three of them.
