Many of the Boundary Guard Knights were exhausted of magic energy from facing the raging Dark Spirit, although there have been no fatalities but the creature continues to take the magic energy belonging to others little by little so that it makes it strong, because not only one person has taken his magic energy. However, it belongs to many people.
The Boundary Guard Knights had not been able to touch the core of that Dark Spirit yet. Let alone touching it, just approaching it they would have to spend a lot of magic energy to protect themselves from the attack of pitch-black smoke.
