The Borders

The Borders
Part 31 – Black Core

"That black core, it seems like there is a person who has that core. The black core is like a thing." Kashel was talking casually with Liam back then.

He looks out through the window of his office room holding a cup of coffee.

While Liam was busy reading the report, daily after carrying out missions in his division.

"I knew that black core was indeed someone controlling it, that black magic was able to absorb the dark energy and gather it." Liam.

"Do you know who can make black core magic?" Ask Kashel.

"If I had known, I would have stopped him Kashel." Liam answered flatly, he could not dwell on the person who controlled the black core.

Besides Lyam who can be affected with black energy. Lyam also can not track the exact whereabouts of the owner of the ability. Because in this world there are so many dark spots that are even stronger than that black core.

"If only we could use the ability to sharpen the senses, to track that black core." Liam gave me advice.

"Yeah! I won't use that ability." Hearing Liam give such a suggestion Kashel immediately rejected it without knowing what strength it was like. Kashel walked out of the room with his cup of coffee.

Lyam did not speak anything after that, he just continued his work. Because he knew all the decisions remained in the hands of Kashel he would never force his will on Kashel again.

Now he would only obey all Kashel's orders, that was his promise when they were both completely bound by contract.

Choosing to destroy the world or save the world is actually all Kashel's decision as a container of his soul. Although there was a feeling of wanting to balance the two worlds, but Kashel's strong feelings attracted Liam more forcefully to obey the man.

Kashel who was in the kitchen at the moment thought of Lyam's speech, about the power that sharpens the senses.

The truth is, what if it doesn't work, it would be useless to free that ability. Kashel's mind then put his coffee glass roughly.

"You why Kashel?" Erphan was surprised to see Kashel who suddenly put the glass down violently.

"Ah ti-it's okay." Kashel felt a little awkward because of her own actions.

"I'm just thinking of something that pisses me off, I'm sorry if it makes you feel surprised." Kashel laughed awkwardly.

"Well, calm yourself, Kashel." Erphan left the kitchen afterwards, not wanting to interfere too much with Kashel's personal affairs.

Kashel did not stop thinking about Liam's words just now. Make him daydream when washing dishes.

"Kashel, oi what's wrong with you? Look why you let the water keep burning while you daydream." Freda reprimanded Kashel, which made the man seem surprised by it.

"Ah, jeez. I'm not focused." Kashel continued to wash the dishes.

"Thank you, Freda." Kashel.

"If you need someone to confide, you better not be Kashel's own damper." Freda's Advice.

"Ah you're right, I'll tell Grizelle later." Kashel.

"Then I'll go first." Freda left Kashel with a gloomy face.

She why. Kashel was confused.

Kashel then continued his work until it was finished, sharing the story with Grizelle afterwards. Grizelle knew all about Kashel how Kashel used to be, only Grizelle had heard of all the sadness of Kashel. Even stories that Kashel could not tell anyone else.

Kashel decided not to give up that power, using that power was not necessarily useful because criminals must always have had the cunning sense to trick their enemies and hide themselves.

Not necessarily also by taking power it will keep everything under control as it is now, for Kashel it would be very troublesome for him if it happened.

Not to mention if once the power was unleashed, he would not be able to eliminate it anymore other than resigned to being able to control it.

To him Kashel made all his keen senses must have been very disturbing to Kashel. After two years of being the vessel of Kashel's soul until now only used the basic power that could not be sealed, that is, the power of the elements and some other powers.

Kashel limited it and used only a few important abilities. Only Liam was happy to use those various abilities because he was already an expert.

Because before signing with Kashel, Lyam had been used to using all the power of The Borders. Because The Borders it's her own.

The freak why should I sign a contract with him, and choose to be weak, thought Kashel asking again, even though he already knew Lyam was binding a contract with him so that the darkness would not devour him.

It's useless to think about what happened, it won't do any good.

It was seen a cloaked man holding a small black stone. But the little black stone absorbed the dark magic energy that was around it.

Then another one appeared behind him.

"Sir, what tasks will I do this time?" he spoke while crouching respectfully behind the cloaked man.

"Take this thing, find people with strong hatred and create chaos by using it." The robed man threw the black stone at his subordinates.

"Okay sir, I'll do it." The cloaked man vanished into black smoke after.

"I won't let this world find peace." The robed man clenched his hands.

"I will raise the demons of darkness, to wreak havoc in this world. Ahhaha!" He laughed on top of a tower high up in the city.

His goal was to gather hatred and open a portal connecting with the demons of darkness then summon him to this world, to destabilize the world. I don't know what his purpose is to do that.

That afternoon Liam was crouching to meet a white cat in front of his office. The cat seems to think of Liam as his enemy.

"What are you doing Liam?" Kashel, watching him, asked, Liam was silent.

"If you want to stroke her, you better be elus, why look at her like that." Kashel said again.

"This cat seems to want to get me into a fight" Lyam replied to Kashel at last.

"Your eyes are so scary that it scares her." Kashel went to the cat and took it to his carrier.

"Ah, I think Grizelle really likes cats, I think I want to show her this white cat." Kashel smiled happily considering Grizelle who was very excited when meeting a cat whether it was on the street or anywhere.

Lyam stood still watching the cat, then Kashel gave it to the curious-looking Liam. But the cat was afraid of Liam, jumped out of his carrier and ran away.

"Even the animals are afraid of you" Kashel laughed to see the expressionless Liam who seemed to be disappointed.

"That's it, it doesn't matter." Liam then went into the office. So did Kashel, he followed her.
