The Borders

The Borders
Section 146 – Basilisk Attack

"This is called the ruins of Rai, I believe there used to be a tribe that inhabited this underground. But the tribe must have been wiped out a few hundred years ago." Kashel, if you want to know more clearly. Only Liam knows their origins. Unfortunately, Lyam is not on their side at all. Perhaps even his entire past memory has been erased, perhaps all Liam remembers is his murder of people for 800 years.

Okay, we can't hope for Liam to continue. We can definitely complete this mission ourselves.

It turned out that the Black Magic army also sent its followers to search for elemental magic stones as well. They sent their people all over when they got leaked information from the Head Office.

They also sought the whereabouts of Kashel to make the Guardian entirely by their side.

The mud began to overflow near the feet of the three of them, Kashel immediately made the ground in his surroundings harden and made the highest place. But the magic in that place destroyed the ground hardened by Kashel. Kashel with all his might continued to make ground footing for all of them.

Lucky for Kashel's amplified magic. Kashel could counterbalance the magic mud of the trap. Suddenly from the left and right the walls in that place started to shake and pointy lands appeared and quickly came towards the three of them. Rigel and Rai instantly stopped the attack with their lightning and fire elements. Rai on the right and Rigel on the left.

Kashel continued to make ground footing so that they would not be drowned by the rising mud chasing them.

They continued to leap towards the highest place until finally the mud stopped increasing. Kashel still could not rest because he had to fight magic with the place. The place continued to melt the soil that made Kashel harden to make it mud.

The three of them went around looking for a sign that could take them out of that place. In Kashel's focus he did not speak at all. Rai and Rigel kept looking around as well. Suddenly bubbles emerged from the mud.

Bright blue eyes began to appear from under the mud. What else is this. Kashel thought, he can't fight at the moment because he has to keep his magic balance. In a place where the lighting is not so clear it is a bright blue color like a jewel so it looks so clear.

However, a place with dim lighting like this Kashel can still see it very clearly. It was a Basilisk, an underground monster snake. The sight of the snake's eyes could make those staring at it enter into their illusory world.

Pimply. Panic Kashel. If it's an illusion, I'll ask The Borders for help, I don't care if I go berserk and destroy this place. Kashel's inner self, but before Kashel was exposed to the illusion, in his subconscious, The Borders awoke and made Kashel's eyes bright red.

The ability of The Borders instead made the snake disturbed and thrashed berserk. Kashel who felt strange on the part of his eyes touched him was shocked as well.

"Hey Rigel, Rai wake up!" Kashel touched both of his friend's shoulders with his eyes open. However, when they looked Kashel in the eyes they screamed in fear until they sat down in shock.

"The monster!" afraid of Rigel, he was completely shocked.

"Hey realize I'm Kashel what you're seeing exactly?" kashel asked confusedly to see his two friends who were like that.

"Kashels?" Rai was confused himself. Staring at Kashel like the man before him was not Kashel but another form.

"There's no time guys, the snake we have to beat first. Don't look him in the eye." Kashel said, pointing at the body of the snake.

"The illusion won't work twice for me." Rigel was upset. Kashel continued to keep her magic so that her friends would not fall in the mud. With fire and lightning to deal with the snake's embodiment, it wasn't so difficult to cripple and destroy it. Rai and Rigel immediately sat down after finishing fighting.

"Friends, we don't have time to relax. I'll reach my limit in no time." Kashel Mumbled. The color of his eyes is back to how it was. His friends seem confused.

"We just saw a gigantic dragon that was terrifyingly huge even more terrifying than the illusions we had before." Clearly Rigel and Rai were staring at him.

"I see the same thing, but he has your voice Kashel." Rai's words made Rai and Rigel look at each other in surprise.

"Hey Kashel, don't tell me it's ...." Gumam Rai bowed.

"The Borders!" said Rai and Rigel while staring at Kashel in unison.

Kashel looked at them no less confused as well. "What are you talking about?" kashel asked with an awkward smile. "Let's forget it we don't have time, if it's true you've seen the real Borders." Kashel began to look around again, this time using his sharp eyes. There is no symbol.

Rai and Rigel swallowed his saliva in surprise. Such a large creature was the one that dwelled in Kashel, and Kashel remained bold and did not waver in the least, though there was a great creature residing in him. But, there was no time for them to sink into his shock.

"Maybe this will be different from the usual Kashel, you have already explained there will be a symbol. But nothing, means the only way is to destroy this place until it finds a way out." Rigel clenched his fists and slammed into his excited palm.

"Isn't that too risky?" kashel asked unsure.

"We have no other way but to try it Kashel, or we'll end up here." Rai stood lightning began to come out of his palm with Rigel finally he smashed the walls of the cave until finally there was a hole they were looking for. But as a result of the attack, the cave shook and began to collapse.

The three of them immediately darted fast and ran down the long tunnel that was slowly starting to disintegrate. Continued to break through without stopping running despite being extremely exhausted. Because the road behind them began to collapse rapidly.

Kashel, Rigel, and Rai have arrived at the new stone chamber. Inside there the lighting was a little brighter out of nowhere the light came from. Usually if there is a bright light like that is in the ground. Meaning that they were getting closer to where the elemental magic stone resides.

CIIIT!

CIIIT!

An echoing voice rang out in the room, out of nowhere. Kashel who let his hearing senses in the blinds immediately covered his ears was disturbed. The sound really did damage Kashel's hearing.

"You okay Kashel?" rigel asked, even Rigel was troubled by the sound. Though their hearing was not as certain as that of Kashel.
