The Borders
Part 108 – Guardian Against Kashel

Kashel felt an unusual dark energy, the pupils of Argai's blue eyes turned red and the whites of his eyes blackened.

Terrible, it was a powerful dark energy. How could he join such darkness. Kashel sat down as he stared at Argai who was now floating in the air with his black smoke. I don't know what he paid for himself in the dark.

"Guardian, how does it feel to feel the pressure from the dark energy. Doesn't it taste good?" Lyam was speechless, the black magic pressure was different from usual. It affected the sword of darkness that was inside Liam's body.

He did not care about Lyam, for Kashel was not affected by the sword of darkness. The sword of darkness was not in Kashel, so Kashel did not know what Liam was feeling. Although there was, it was only slightly affected by the darkness.

As he ran towards the magic stone, Kashel wanted to reach it but there was an attack from behind on Kashel, Exasperated Kashel immediately retaliated with a shield of fire that was so large that the attack became meaningless.

Kashel immediately touched the magic stone for some reason because it had the same element that Kashel did not worry if he would be injured, and instantly his entire body was completely burned. And sure enough the magic stone did not affect Kashel or make Kashel hurt but further strengthen his fire magic.

It was horrifying that I felt my entire body burning, even the abilities of the other elements sinking due to this ability. Inner Kashel did not believe the magic stone was truly such an influence.

Kashel realized that the one who attacked him was Lyam who was holding a sword of darkness in his hand.

Kashel took out his sword of light after that. But it was not Liam that he was going to attack but with that sword he chose to destroy the elemental stone. It makes everyone surprised.

"I don't care anymore about this task, I won't let a dangerous stone like this exist." Kashel was satisfied after making everyone shocked by the fire for choosing to destroy it, the fire that burned Kashel faded from his body. However, the effects of the fire made Kashel's body flushed like an excessive sunburn.

Kyler and Freda, who had been standing away from Kashel, approached after the fire was extinguished. The place slowly darkened and began to collapse.

Kashel quickly brought the three friends out through the portal, since the magic stone shattered the seal that locked them away. So they can all get out.

The Guardian was still seen under the control of the darkness sword.

"Until when will you lose your consciousness Lyam!" Kashel yelled angrily at Lyam who was staring at him like an enemy.

Kashel also began to feel the darkness entering her.

Finally Freda and Kyler, choose to face Argai. To keep the fight of Lyam and Kashel undisturbed.

At this time, Kashel fought with Kashel with a sword of light and a sword of darkness.

I can't believe I'm going to fight with Liam like this. Kashel kept fighting.

"Oi, relax. Kashel could keep up with Lyam and make the sword of darkness fall from Lyam's hand as well as the sword of light." Kashel immediately hit Liam in the face. At the moment their magic is not connected so Kashel does not feel any pain when he hits Lyam.

Unsuccessful, Kashel slaps himself, Lyam immediately awakens while holding his cheek, because if Kashel is injured connected or not their magic, Lyam will still feel the same pain as Kashel. Kashel, whose body had been flushed red because of the fire element, had now completely injured her face.

"Finally you're conscious, too, damn it!" Kashel immediately cursed after knowing Liam was conscious.

The Guardian directly attacked his enemy back. Makes Argai look surprised.

"My soul container is a powerful person, it's not that easy you can order myself to side with you." The Guardian takes over Kyler and Freda's already overwhelmed fight.

Lyam really beat up Argai mercilessly. Kashel did not want to interfere in the fight. Kashel felt his whole body ache. Not to mention the darkness he had received.

"I feel tired mentally and physically." His murmur sat down.

Dark Eve, seen enveloping the Guardian who returned to his human form Lyam. While walking towards Kashel the dark air slowly faded and disappeared, Kashel simply stared at Liam casually.

"He managed to escape." Liam's face was upset.

He then took the medicine box and began to attach a large plaster to Kashel's bruised cheek

"Dwool! You're so rude!" Kashel nags because suddenly Lyam behaves like that, although he does not look hurt but Liam actually experiences the same thing as Kashel.

For the time being their regenerative abilities and Liam's healing abilities are impaired which makes Liam treat Kashel humanely.

"You're smart too." Lyam painstakingly bandaged Kashel's reddened body.

"I also keep an eye on the people of Kashel." Said Lyam, for hundreds of years he often saw people who were injured so it does not matter if it was just bandaging the wound.

"But you don't know how to cook." Kashel protest.

"I don't need to eat, so I don't know how to cook because it doesn't matter." Lyam recalled, in the past he had been looking for firewood with someone. He touched his head again.

"What's the matter, Lyam, are you still affected by dark energy?" kashel asked, but he felt nothing.

"It's nothing." Kashel's body was completely bandaged by Liam.

"I feel like a mummy." Kashel murmured that Liam was overreacting on his wounds.

"It's better that your wounds heal faster, than they're left open." Though Kashel's protest was not a problem with that.

This time it was Kashel who opened the portal where their car was parked before because Liam did not know where the car was placed.

Freda and Kyler did not protest anymore, as they both saw the ability of Kashel who had brought them all out of the rubble safely and without any defects. Only Kashel is actually lazy to use his abilities well.

Kashel came home with a face wrapped by bandages this time, on his cheek was a large plaster attached. He got out of the car and ate the bread he put in his mouth.

"What happened to you Kashel until your face and body were wrapped in such a bandage?" Luan asked Kashel who was carrying her bag.

"I'm fine Lyam's overrated." Kashel passed Luan into his office. He also did not appear to be in pain at all. He went straight to his study, and Lyam had no idea where he was going. After driving the three humans home safely, he went missing again for a moment.

"This time the mission failed" Kashel said as he sat himself down at the lounge table while calling Rai.

From across the phone Rai shouted out in protest.

"You think it's easy to save that magic thing, when my body gets all burned up because of the monstrous fire element stone's influence. Plus there was an intruder from the Head Office, who brought me an official letter and pretended to be sent from there to help my mission." Kashel explained the length.
