The Borders
Part 113 – Days Where They Meet

"You have to go back to the academy tomorrow?" Kashel persuaded her sister, Karel put on a pouting face. Kashel, who could not stand his sister's face like that, pinched her cheek with both hands.

"Sister.don't treat... I'm not a kid." Said Karel, Kashel stopped his anxiety.

"For me you are a child, and obey Rai." Kashel met Karel cruelly, making Karel afraid.

"You can come to me again if you get a vacation. I wouldn't want to see you when you come to me while truant. Go to school well." Kashel shuffled his sister's hair. His sister was embarrassed to mix happily.

"Later on, brother, if I'm off I'll bother you!" Karel immediately heard Kashel's words well.

"If Kashel were the only one speaking, you'd listen." Rai was still nagging Rai, Karel was just mocking him. While trailing Rai.

"We both go back first then." Rai said goodbye to go home and Rai just waved his hand smiling happily.

......................

The day that Kashel met with Grizelle was a day that neither of them would forget. The day that Kashel finds someone who will be her destiny to be together.

Two years ago before they knew each other, Kashel, who had just obtained permission to establish the Dusk Boundary Division, was destroying the Dark Spirit that inhabited the office they now occupy. This place is nice and strategic according to Kashel, because it is quite far from the settlement and has a large area, with the price of a place that is not so expensive as well. Lyam chose this place to be their headquarters. But unfortunately this place was inhabited by the Spirit of Darkness and Kashel was commissioned by Liam to eradicate it.

Lyam did not help Kashel at the time, as Lyam wanted to test Kashel's ability to guard himself against the Spirit of Darkness. And if Kashel cannot keep himself, Lyam will force Kashel to train in the frontier world until he is ready to be brought back to the human world. The one who used to rule Kashel more was Liam not what it is today.

Kashel gave Liam the condition that if he managed to overcome it himself, Lyam should not impose his will again on Kashel and of course Lyam agreed. Since Lyam would always obey Kashel's orders, not the other way around, Kashel was not aware of it at the time.

Kashel fought wearing a white robe that was tattered and dirty, as it was completely new to returning to the human world after half a year in the frontier world, mourning there.

"Have you accepted your destiny?" tanya Lyam at that time Kashel was delivered to the page where it would be his office and his home in the future.

"Huh! Not really, I just try to accept reality in my own way, indeed from the bottom of my heart I can not accept this reality. However, rather than not accepting it, because I knew even if I rejected it to death, reality would still come true. That's why I prefer to accept it in my own way. At least with this I can live life better." Kashel took out a sword of light from his hand while pointing it towards Liam. He wants to run his own life according to his wishes as well as the wishes of Rainer.

Kashel was aware of his strength, he was not a fool. So even though for half a year he was sad he also secretly studied his magic power and understood it. Indeed Kashel was not very skilled in martial arts but with the help of magic he felt to be a little stronger now, although he did not know what effect he would receive.

Kashel fought that night with the Spirit of Darkness which overwhelmed him enough, but he did not want to give up and continued to fight. Kashel realized it, back then while using her powerful magic abilities. There was a feeling that disappeared in his heart, he lost a bit of his feeling as a human.

Terrible, after this I will not use it again, if it is not used to help others. Kashel's mind did not like the power he felt.

Kashel defeated the Spirit of Darkness with his own hand.

The strong wind, when the Spirit of Darkness was destroyed, threw Kashel into the street that night.

Kashel then did nothing he just stared at the exhausted Grizelle and vice versa.

"Aren't you afraid of me?" kashel asked finally opening his voice. When they look at each other like that.

"You okay?" Grizelle instead asked about Kashel's extremely dirty state.

"Are you able to get up on your own, this is in the middle of the road." Grizelle said again with a flat expression alone there was no look of surprise at all on her face.

Grizelle finally reached out her hand to help Kashel who seemed to have trouble waking up. Kashel of course immediately grabbed Grizelle's hand.

Cold hands. Kashel looked at Grizelle again.

"Why are your hands cold?" kashel asked Grizelle, but Grizelle gave Kashel some water to drink and a packet of bread, seeing the homeless Kashel in her eyes.

"My hand? It seems between fear and nervous. It's commonplace." Grizelle said leisurely then she sat not far from Kashel.

"I thought you weren't scared." Kashel said while eating his bread.

I don't know when I last ate human food, all this time I survived because of the Guardian's magic pill. Kashel enjoys chewing his bread.

"What kind of person is not afraid if someone is thrown suddenly in front of them." Grizelle spoke familiarly.

"Somewhat are you doing exactly." Grizelle murmured in fact not wanting to know.

"Ah you're right" said Kashel he remembered one of Grizelle's friends who had been with him running away.

"Why don't you run too?" kashel asked again and this time spent his bread on the last feed and drank the water given by Grizelle.

"No, I don't know what to do if I'm scared. That's why I'm silent, after all you're a human not a ghost." Grizelle smiled in response to such behavior.

"If it's in the wild you'll be the one to die first." Kashel said carelessly, because silence is tantamount to self-indulgence.

"Hahaha, it seems you're right. Okay, I'm feeling fine now, and I gotta go. My feet are no longer shaking." Grizelle stood up later through Kashel, when Grizelle wore a white dress almost knee-length but she wore black tights and white shoes that fit her well with a medium-sized backpack, it looks like he just got home from work.

"Hey what's your name?" ask Kashel at last.

"My name is Grizelle, Faunia Grizelle." He smiled at Kashel and turned around without asking what Kashel was. Then the girl left.
