The Demon Swordsman 2

The Demon Swordsman 2
Ch. 63 - The departure of the Black Dragon

"Go back to your family."

Slowly the situation began to change, the dense spirit air turned into calmness. Knowing their identity and the reason why they died after so many years of drifting without a name, the warrior spirits and the villagers were now able to calm down in their own nature.

"How can we thank your father, tell him we owe him so much... And for you, I as the leader of the Warriors in this village apologize... Thank you for telling us. May you and your family always be in happiness..."

Xin Chen gave a small smile, feeling a sense of peace when he saw those spirits returning to his realm, the deep sadness in this village was indeed too painful. The village that was turned into a wilderness with corpses eaten by beasts and these savage demons had their own stories. A heartbreaking story that only a few people remember.

Xin Chen was shocked when he found Wei Feng taking a deep breath, it seemed like he was still alive and the Black Dragon was now licking him to wake up immediately.

"Hey, buddy. Want to hear something no?" The Black Dragon then turned to Xin Chen, the boy whistled following the tone of the Death Rhythm. Which still made the dragon's ears bother when he heard it.

"Grrahay!"

The Lightning Fox came shortly afterwards, as the demon came the head of the Black Dragon lowered its head in fear. He seemed to not dare to appear in front of the Lightning Fox at all.

The Black Dragon moved backwards, even Xin Chen had no chance to hold him off. In the blink of an eye the dragon flew away, disappearing just like that from his sight.

"Well... You kicked him out again?" Xin Chen complained, unfortunately the Lightning Fox did not care much about his protest. He preferred to look towards Wei Feng who was now lying down.

"I've only been away for a while now it's getting worse like this. Body burned, clothes torn and wounds all over the body. You're making him die, Chen."

"Thank you for summarizing it, Teacher." Xin Chen could only stare at the Lightning Fox wryly, "Huh... I have no other solution than this, and you yourself don't tell me how to finish a spirit."

"And the Black Dragon just now, do you think he's really as dangerous as you said he was?" asked once again, still hoping to have the little dragon.

It is no longer strange to bring a pet in adventure and fight, just like his father. But this time the Lightning Fox could not allow him to nurture the dragon.

"You know, don't you? Dragons are a rare species. They only pair once in a lifetime. When you take him away with us, you should know that in front of him the dragon becomes the target of humans as well. Carrying a dragon, is different from carrying a wolf. I think up to here you understand what I mean."

"Then?" He approached the Lightning Fox immediately, pulling the fox over in order to see it. "Well, I know it's risky to carry a dragon. Ta-but... Think about it, without a human being, he couldn't survive. I'm sure he's the same age as me, he's young. Having no one, he could be caught easily if wandering around alone."

"Chen, you better think about the problem before your eyes. The dragon won't come back even if you whine like a girl."

Xin Chen's face turned bitter, the Lightning Fox ignored his disciple's disappointment.

Wei Feng woke up just then, rubbing the back of his head with his hands while winking a few times. He looked around meticulously, not understanding what had just hit his head until it felt so heavy.

Wei Feng looked at his own body, realizing his clothes had already been torn apart by the flames. "What kind of stealth just attacked me?!" panicked the man, checking his body to make sure no one was deformed.

The Lightning Fox and Xin Chen stared at each other, kicking shoulders unable to say much. While Wei Feng was still busy lamenting his misfortune, he was finally thrown into an uproar when he saw that the little slow loris was still stalking him. "You again...! You again!!! Go there, hush!"

Wei Feng took a quick breath, trying not to get emotional. He was now focused towards the front, watching Xin Chen. "I must have fainted from stealth, right? So what kind of demon can use fire? See her? Can you tell me what it looks like?"

Xin Chen smiled bitterly, where might he say the fire that gushed out earlier was the fire of the Black Dragon. Wei Feng slightly glared sharply at him asking for an explanation and Xin Chen could only grin widely. "Maybe... My fire accidentally hit you while fighting with the spirits."

Xin Chen laughed comically, making Wei Feng annoyed would probably be a new pastime in this Runaway Village. "You were intentional, huh?! Fine, fine. I'm lazy to hunt stealth and that task is better for you. But don't attack your own friend, Little Devil! After all, such lousy level demons would not be balanced with my death arrow shot."

For a moment Wei Feng shifted his mind, realizing there was another figure near Xin Chen.

"And again... Who's the guy next to you?" He pointed at the Lightning Fox in confusion, trying to steal a glance in order to recognize the figure in the robe. Xin Chen immediately stood in front of the Lightning Fox, hiding the fox behind his body.

"not nobody. He's helping us collect these demons."

"He's ready–"

"The sky is late in the afternoon, soon night is coming. We'd better get home before sunset," Xin Chen cut off the chatter, not intending to answer question after question from Wei Feng's mouth.

Instead of spending his time arguing with the man, he should go straight home and rest for tomorrow.

As Jin Sakai said, the sword forging will begin tomorrow. He had to prepare a great stamina to work full time there.

Night had arrived, the dry leaves were swept away by the strong winds as they entered the village road. Although it looks gloomy but the residents in this village have a good relationship with each other to keep the atmosphere cheerful even though the sky is dark.

Cloud overcasts made some animal breeders immediately rush to put their livestock into the cage. The atmosphere of the village started to grow noisy until it finally rained right when they arrived at Wei Feng's house.

"Sir Wei, wake up early tomorrow morning. We're gonna find Gu Long to deliver our demon hunt just now."

"Huh? The demon hunt is over? Is that true?! You wiped out all those demons by yourself!?" How Wei Feng was not surprised, there were still many demons in the forest earlier, certainly before he fell unconscious and when he realized he was even invited home by Xin Chen.

"Ehm, it wasn't me who did it. But he's."

"Well, you haven't introduced her to me yet, Little Devil."

"Little Devil?" The Lightning Fox repeated it in a small voice, Xin Chen who was standing beside her scowled in annoyance. At least that name is still better than being called Sprouts like before.

"Good, fine. Wei Feng, introduce him to my brother and my brother, he's Wei Feng." Xin Chen introduced briefly.

"Hey you haven't told me his name yet" Wei Feng sighed.
