Ch. 4 - Bodies and Suffering
"Dam... What was my dream last night?!" Xin Chen held onto the tree branch in order to survive, the rocks and wood started to pull backwards almost hitting his head.

Anxiety on his father's face was inevitable, the young Xin Chen clasped the man's hand. Trying to strengthen her, as her father often does every day. As everyone scoffed at Xin Chen for his weakness.
"Father need not be afraid, I will protect you, mother and sister, then everyone also including Lan An's uncle who has been kind enough to defend me. I won't let anyone hurt you, I promise."
The sharp face and having a strong determination like Ren Yuan made Xin Fai chuckle, she really resembled that mother. His chatter can even make him sleepless all night.
"Dad why laugh? Yep... I know it's impossible, let's just say I'm entertaining you."
