The Demon Swordsman 2

The Demon Swordsman 2
Ch. 165 - Enemy's Headquarters

Han Wu turned away from the raging flames behind him, his body telling him to do so but on the other side of his mind said something else. He could feel someone standing behind him.

Han Wu's effort forced his head to look back and sure enough, there was a shadow behind the fire that was getting thinner and thinner. His power should have stopped burning after successfully killing the person inside or with one other exception, where there was one power greater than that of the Hell Door technique.

"Ti's... It can't be ...." Han Wu could not lie to his own vision, he did not want to believe that now someone was walking calmly through the fire circle that was said to be equivalent to the heat of the hellfire. Xin Chen's shadow vaguely grew stronger until his body appeared before Han Wu, fixedly staring at him with a murderous gaze, yet he still tried to calm down.

"What do you have to do?"

Han Wu was stunned, seeing Xin Chen rub the back of his neck while glancing at the blaze behind him that had been extinguished. A piercing smile accompanied by another sharp thump greeted Han Wu afterward.

"I know you've realized what you've done. But let me just say, your body is almost the same as mine. We have high resistance to fire attacks. Didn't you?"

"Ch, I don't remember what happened before, but it looks like you're a pretty tough opponent as well." Now that Han Wu looked enthusiastic, he drew his sword quickly.

"It seems you're really happy to play with fire. Then I'll be happy to follow your game."

His attack type changed, Xin Chen relinquished control over spirit power and sealed them back into the Spirit Controlling Book.

Amidst the overcast atmosphere, with black clouds encircling the entire Renwu City a blue light flashed in Xin Chen's eyes. Suddenly a blazing blue flame circulated all over his body, making himself shine so brightly compared to Han Wu's red flames. The temperature on the ground suddenly rose so drastically, the hot wind seemed to hole his lungs every time Han Wu took a breath.

"Heh, what kind of man are you? I didn't expect in this day and age you're even better than the heroes of the past." Han Wu still looked ordinary, not the first time he saw something like this just that his opponent was a little younger than the enemy he had met before. Compared to that there was no intense killing intent from Xin Chen, he remained focused and calm every time. In such a way it seemed that facing the aggressive Han Wu and being extremely hasty in the fight made him slightly superior to Han Wu.

The Fire Immortal Bracelet followed right after Han Wu finished his sentence, he retreated quickly and kept his distance as far as possible. The change in the shape of the fire of immortality changed into a fire-shaped snake. Just like the shape change from the Lightning Arm to the Lightning Sword. Xin Chen was able to master it quickly. Controlling the snake, creeping on the ground and eyeing Han Wu's feet.

The intense battle continued, Xin Chen still could not punch a crushing blow at Han Wu. His dodging speed was far above average and also the human self-defense was indeed like an impenetrable metal stone.

Meanwhile, the fight between demons began to look clearly unbalanced, although fighting two demons at once the Dark Dragon was far superior to the two of them. The Lightning Fox was severely injured, he had previously managed to cut off the tail of the Dark Dragon with chains of lightning and the wound would not regenerate.

The Dark Dragon's head managed to ram into the belly of the Lightning Fox, making it bounce so strongly. Shui tried to help her but the Dark Dragon first slammed its tail on Shui's body. Both are far enough away. At such times it could be said Shui had run out of power, though, since coming to Renwu City he had never expected to win against the Dark Dragon and only hoped that his old friend had a way to overcome it.

But reality said otherwise, other than the Dark Dragon now appeared Qiang Jun who was both a nightmare, both of them were the strongest humans and demons on the face of the earth. And the hope Xin Fai would help him fight the Dark Dragon would never happen. Xin Fai was already overwhelmed facing Qiang Jun whose strength was like limitless. He absorbed the natural energy in the surroundings, unleashing a high-level stance that should have consumed a lot of inner manpower and doing so repeatedly.

While every attack that Xin Fai unleashed, even if it was able to injure Qiang Jun's body but did not affect the man's movements at all. He did not slow down due to lack of blood, or feel pain due to scratching wounds.

Qiang Jun said calmly, but the surrounding strength was like a fire burning papers. "The Book of Seven Keys" he said.

"Thousand Full Swords!"

Xin Fai had only realized how powerful that stance would be if used by Qiang Jun, slashes endlessly hunting after him. Until in the end the Steel Phoenix Sword that Xin Chen gave was broken and shattered into pieces, caused by the flow of power so great that could no longer be accommodated by a sword.

Qiang Jun did not stop there, he continued to unleash his consecutive attacks. Having no other choice Xin Fai took out a legendary sword that he had just issued back after being stored for approximately ten years. The greatest sword that was the beginning of the destruction of human civilization.

The greatest risk was if the sword fell into Qiang Jun's hands, while Xin Fai did not have another sword good enough to withstand the man's attack.

Elsewhere someone who continued to watch the fight could only grieve bitterly, he saw his son and father who still survived to the end. Meanwhile in his hiding place, a spell is seen that will continue to weaken from time to time. If this fight does not stop within the next three days, then in exchange he must die horribly.

"Tsk, there seems to be no other way. They both can lose control." The masked figure of the crow stomped his legs agitated, his fingers bending his desk noisily.

"Sir, I have brought Great General Liu here. He's in bad shape, but he can still be saved."

The figure smiled behind his mask, "Good. Compared to that all he had devoted himself many years since that day. Now is the time to show your loyalty. Take him to the ritual place."

"Is ...." The figure of the woman wearing the same mask guessed with breath as if stopping, imagining what would happen.

"Shut up and do as I command."
