Ch. 20 - Death of the Information Seller
The man cast a spell on the paper, as the paper began to turn to ashes and their bodies disappeared into the air.
The Lightning Fox did not have time to hold it plus again when almost the same time there was a cry around.
Xin Chen approached the woman who was holding the figure of an old man on her thigh, sobbing tears lamenting his death.
"Sorry, we're late. It should be that the man's life could still be saved." he regretted looking at the corpse in front, feeling a little guilty of this incident.
"No, it's not your fault" replied the woman rubbing her two cheeks with the back of her hand. She watched Xin Chen more closely and like recalling a person she had known for a long time, she said gently.
"You really came..."
"Yes?" Xin Chen raised next to his brows in astonishment, he did not understand what the woman was talking about.
"My name is Mei Lian," she slightly smiled even though it was just a thin smile. "You really resemble your father, to be honest I still admire him to this day."
Xin Chen was not so surprised when Mei Lian said it because from her own eyesight Mei Lian was not the only woman who liked her father.
There were so many women who fell in love with him but they did not dare to show it, because it would definitely be sniffed by the terrifying Ren Yuan. In one hit alone the great swordsman would faint two days because of it.
Afterwards Mei Lian took out a small necklace, which Xin Fai had given her after saving Mei Lian. That day he thought Xin Fai would come back to propose to him but unfortunately the news of Ren Yuan and Xin Fai's marriage was heard first. The woman lost hope and chose not to marry until this very moment, she just did not have a single man who could make her fall in love.
Xin Chen had no idea of his father's problems with this woman, he observed the necklace. Take it politely.
"I'm sure you'll be as strong as your father, with your two hands you can save thousands of lives."
Xin Chen responded well. "Okay, I'll remember. Thanks."
Although Mei Lian looked smiling but in fact she was still saddened by Xu Ming's death, the foster father who had been taking care of her all this time. Thanks to that man he and everyone who lives in this house can continue to connect. I can't imagine how good it has been all along.

Mei Lian looked at Xu Ming's corpse with deep sadness, "Father works as an information salesman. With that profession I think many people have the intention of killing him."
"Is that just an excuse?"
Xin Chen flicked his finger, thinking of another clue. "Well, about the steel in the woman's hand earlier. Do you know anything? Or whatever that might be a clue?"

"Then it's okay... I'll look for this information somewhere else" said little Xin Chen. "Maybe at the mayor's place. Do you know where the address is?"
Mei Lian told happily, at least she felt a little useful to Xin Chen.
Before the two left Mei Lian had offered them to spend the night at her house but Xin Chen refused. Other than because the Lightning Fox definitely did not want to be there, she did not want to trouble Mei Lian.
