The shout sounded so loud, Xin Zhan raised his head high that it could be seen by the clouds floating above and a huge black hole appearing above their heads. The same weather as the war in Renwu. Even the storm was far more astounding than the wind*****pair. Sailor people usually only look for fish, not to get to the middle of the sea because this weather is what they are most afraid of. Many were fixated by the cloud clumps above them until Xin Zhan gave an interruption.
"Roll screen! Hurry along!"
The sailcloth began to tear in some parts because of the tightness of the storm, it continued to happen for up to two hours. They lost their way after that, the rain had long stopped and the storm had passed. There were no casualties and everyone was able to breathe a sigh of relief. Within those two hours they felt so close to death, yet despite the circumstances Xin Zhan was able to act calm.
"Thank God we're all safe!"
"Don't be happy first, we don't know if when we go home later this ship can still sail up to Fanlu City.
Everyone was speechless over Xin Zhan's words, right what he said. The screen pole has been damaged, the screen cloth can not be used anymore. The spare cloth they had brought had been washed into the river. Thinking of the situation made Xin Zhan dizzy, the soldiers even blamed each other about who washed away the important item.
"Be quiet. Keep looking ahead, we don't know what's waiting for us there."
Xin Zhan pointed at a plain surrounded by thick fog, looking far more terrifying than just uninhabited land. There were no birds or life there, all dead in an eternal flame. The closer the ship is to Renwu City, the hot temperature rises to the surface of the ship. Many are aware of the heat that kills this, even just by taking a breath it feels like their bodies will burn.
Xin Zhan told the ship to stop and closely monitor the not-so-distant city again, only one of which flashed through his head.
'There's no way he can live there.'
The ship no longer allowed to sail there, Xin Zhan could clearly see the blue flames lingering on the seafront. Imprisoning the city in the Fire of Eternity, there is no entrance there.
Still stunned to see how the big changes that occurred in the Magnificent City, they believed that the city was already cursed. And recent cases of fisherman deaths may have been caused by the unusual weather they had seen before.
Someone suggested, "Maybe we should immediately think of a way to return in order to convey how the current state of Renwu City is"
"What happened just now?"
"Perhaps because the temperature inside there is too hot, look! The clouds were moving into the city. We must leave immediately before the storm returns!" exclaiming the oldest men among them, their task is actually just to see the condition of the city, and write anything that if suspicious. Just as the ship was about to move again, a larger eruption boomed to make the ship oscillate by the intense vibration. Something's raging in there. In that instant, everyone returned to nailing. Afraid that if they dare to move, their lives will be exhausted. The extremely strong wind immediately brought the black clouds to their place. Again the rain fell so heavily, the one thing that made Xin Zhan panic was that the storm wind was dragging them towards Renwu City.
Then everyone panicked instead of playing, they were getting closer to the sea of fire. The lives of fifty people are in danger.
Xin Zhan repeatedly rubbed his rough face, this endless chaos would only kill them all. So, he told them to lower the anchor, but it did not have much effect. In fact, the strong wind was increasingly sweeping them towards the land of fire.
Only a few hundred meters away from them remained, the burning heat as if melting their skin in a very vicious manner. One of them fainted because he could not breathe air anymore, thick smoke soared up into the sky. No more breathing room.
The crackling of the floor of the ship was heard whispering, the panic mixed into fear of death. The soldiers repeatedly asked Xin Zhan about what they should do. As they took out a large paddle to paddle the ship, it was instantly damaged by the hot water which was extremely unusual in heat. Moreover, again they found leaks everywhere. Obviously, the sign they will die soon.
Many have given up, they sit leaning against the pillars and also the walls of the ship that are swayed by the hot wind. The air made their sweat fall. No more squealing, they will soon arrive at death. As well as Xin Zhan, things had already been tried, but nothing had worked. If only the ship's equipment had not been discarded recklessly maybe they could still survive.
Wood had become ashes, a great storm was dancing in the sea, very close to the ship. Xin Zhan looked at Sayu on a necklace that Ren Yuan had given her. Smiling weakly, it was inconceivable what would happen if Ren Yuan heard the news of his death. The sadness will triple. Xin Zhan did not want to make Ren Yuan cry for the umpteenth time, but he did not know how to save himself today either.
Dark clouds were directly above them, dropping terrifying lightning bolts that left some parts of the ship shattered like explosive bombs. Almost half the ship sank, a quarter of the soldiers had gone into the water without floating again. They instantly died while drowning, that very second.
One by one the people on board disappeared, the ship almost completely sunk. Now all that appeared before Xin Zhan was a land filled with the Fire of Eternity that spread like vines. He was sure he had not set foot there, he would die first. Xin Zhan clasped the necklace in his hand trembled.
"Xin Chen, if you're really alive. I just wanted to tell you that mom's sick. Come to see her, or never call her your mother. I ... If I die today, please take care of him."
Xin Zhan's feet had sunk into the hot water beyond boiling water, beyond the heat of the mountain lava, more painful than simply being burned alive. Xin Zhan tried not to shout, hoping that at any time he could see his sister for the last time. That way he will be relieved, at least Ren Yuan will be there to take care, even without him.
