Ch. 125 - Absorption of Elements
"Now sit cross-legged, keep good control of your breath and focus attention on one point. Do not let this power enter your body until you are consumed by its power, if it fails forever you will not be able to control the Fire of Eternity even though it has fused with your blood."
The Lightning Fox solemnly said, he raised his head in order to see the Electric Eel King clearly.
"See, I don't understand anything about this. Isn't it that absorbing a stealth gem isn't a difficult thing? Why do you two look so serious?" xin Chen asked could not hide his curiosity anymore and now all he saw were these two demons as if they did not care about his words.
"Can you explain something so that at least I know what to do...?" He again spoke hesitantly, in the end the Electric Eel King let out a heavy sigh. When wanting to speak the Lightning Fox first gave an explanation. It made the demon break up, from there he was actually waiting for the Hermit Fox to give an explanation but indeed he was too lazy to explain at length.
"The stealthy gems you're getting aren't the same ones you'd normally get elsewhere. Actually, at that time he had thought of taking the power of the Fire of Eternity from his enemy but considering that he had been given the power of the lightning element by the Spirit Element, the Lightning Fox held him back. One of the heavenly covenants he had to abide by was to take away the power of elements other than lightning.
Xin Chen nodded somewhat doubtfully, his mind still digesting every sentence that the Lightning Fox said. Indeed, even at a glance, the stealth gem belonging to the Eel Monster has a unique shape and the terrible aura it emits feels strong.

The Lightning Fox created another protector around Xin Chen, as the Electric Eel King unleashed the power from the demon monster's gem that sparks blazing blue so fiercely, it was so fierce, right in front of Xin Chen's face and if it wasn't for the protector from the Lightning Fox's spell then Xin Chen was confident his life would be instantly depleted by the Fire of Immortality. The fire will not be extinguished even if it is in ice water, only the owner can extinguish it.
This tense situation did not last long, a while later Xin Chen's vision began to weaken, he began to feel something burning in his body and in that second a black hand closed both eyes.
The Lightning Fox created a lightning cage to keep Xin Chen's body protected from the Fire of Immortality which still refused to fuse with the human body. This kind of thing actually happened frequently among the demons, such as the Dark Demon who often snatched special powers from the Earth Ruler Demon. Taking the power and matching it with the new owner is a very difficult thing to do, not infrequently many die while doing so depending on how high the level of strength of the stealth gem belongs.
The power level of the Fire of Eternity itself was quite high, although it could not be said to be very powerful but it was this lack of power that made the absorption of this power dangerous if only done by the King of Electric Eels. Xin Chen could have died, actually the Lightning Fox just guessed it, although Xin Chen's body was immortal but that immortality only belonged to his body. In another sense, if his soul were to be killed or extinguished then the possibility of him dying must exist. The Eternity Pill that man has created as great as anything must have weaknesses, and man himself cannot create true immortality.
While the Fire of Eternity itself works by forcibly taking the lives of its prey, turning life into power. With that power the Fire of Eternity was extremely hard to find and the Lightning Fox was quite shocked when it felt that a long-unseen power had appeared in its old nest.
The Electric Eel King experienced not the least impact from this power of Fire Eternity, he performed continuous healing on himself. The demon was inexhaustible with this stealth gem whether Xin Chen could absorb it alone if without his help or the Lightning Fox. Seeing the blaze of blue flames that almost melted his body just now even though the Electric Eel King had installed the strongest defense already made him inexhaustible.
He looked towards Xin Chen closely, it seemed that the human was being diverted to his subconscious by the worst traits in him. The most difficult step in absorbing the power of the demon demon is to face the evil figure who is the embodiment of the power itself. The Electric Eel King shook his head repeatedly, "How many times have I been made anxious by this child, he has always been.." he murmured softly.
The Lightning Fox smiled wryly, if the Electric Eel King who had not met him for a day had a headache let alone himself.
