Ch. 262 - Face to See
Explosion after explosion swept through all the traps that had been prepared for the arrival of intruders. It provoked the attention of the YuangXe people until they bothered to get off the ground to see what happened. But even so, only one person was sent to see what was happening outside the boundaries of the land.
He was sure that the mess had killed the culprit, his long footsteps quickly following where the last time the source of the rowdy sound was heard. Not far from his place, the young man stopped with a barely trusting look.
The young man had a height that could be said to pass through the door of the house in general. Feet do not wear any pedestal and wear thick hairy clothes to cover up to the bottom of the knee. He only carried a large machete that was commonly used to cut off animal bodies.
From within the dragon's wings someone appeared when the demon let go. He nailed his pet head with a slightly irritated face. Gazing towards the front where he had already realized earlier that someone from YuangXe had finally come up.
"Who are you?" xin Chen asked opening the conversation. The one asked only put on a hostile face at once fiercely, as if he could just attack that second as well.
"I should have asked that."
Ye Long shook his head quickly, he could not see at all. The explosion and attack that had hit his body slowly recovered, Xin Chen's Fire of Eternity had protected him from the stab of a weapon and the explosion that should have killed Ye Long.
The dragon only reacted following his instincts, he did not think whether it would kill him or not and Ye Long only thought of saving his master first. When able to sit upright, the black dragon squealed and growled when it found a foreign human was looking at him in detail. The man has very different characteristics from his master.
"So, he's the last dragon that's the smallest?"
"last?"
The young man pointed at Ye Long with a slanted smile, either to be arrogant or ridiculing. Xin Chen could not tell the difference.
"The dragon that was born the last in the human world, perhaps?"
Rather than discussing Ye Long, Xin Chen had instead changed the flow of the conversation.
"You're the YuangXe people?"
"Hm? If it is true, why? You scared? It's too late to shake now. Have you seen for yourself how terrible it is outside of our land? Just before the gate you're already dying. Not to mention going inside. Want to hear my advice?" He mocked blatantly. "You better go back to your place or misfortune will befall you both. I don't care about you, but the life of this last dragon is the problem. Our leader won't care about dragons or anything of value. Step on our land, then you'll die."
"Oh, what a scary threat." Xin Chen said flatly, showing no face of fear. "Unfortunately I didn't come to be frightened by a pole man like you." The eyes of the young man YuangXe turned cold upon hearing Xin Chen's remark.
"You're challenging me?"
"You and your dragon, go ahead. Let me give you an understanding of this land"
The YuangXe youth fluttered for a moment, his forehead creasing deeply until it was layered. He put his machete to its original spot then dashed quickly towards the land of YuangXe without saying anything.
Of course Xin Chen and Ye Long stared at each other, about to chase after that young YuangXe but the clattering of footsteps rang out in a crowd around them. Ye Long returned to his master's body while Xin Chen hid his form.
The destruction of the trap set by the YuangXe by Ye Long's actions turned out to be auspicious for other hunters. It was undeniable that the moment there was such a large amount of movement, Xin Chen could hear it from the branches on the ground being stepped on or the noise of the thickets. All the warriors came out of hiding and started searching for the entrance to YuangXe.
There was a fierce fight in the middle of the wilderness, a group of demons fighting with humans. Some of the demons died while only two humans died. The blood on the ground protecting the outside of YuangXe had dried up. It seems that in the last three months there has indeed been a fight that resulted in the death of many warriors in the wilderness. That meant, the hunt for the War God Armor had started a long time ago and had only been heard this month or two.
With the spirit form, Xin Chen should be able to move freely without fear of being caught or caught in a trap. He took the initiative to look for clues first before entering the land of YuangXe.

Only one person made that trap, for many years with his honed brain he was able to kill hundreds of warriors without dirtying his hands.
It is true, there are many untouched areas that are negligent of government surveillance. Including the Valley of the Gods that was once controlled by the Four Surveillance Units, but for the land of YuangXe, indeed the territory was a loan given to them.
It was never written until when the deal ended. For that reason, if only an unfavorable move had occurred for the Empire then the YuangXe people would be forced to be expelled from there.
Xin Chen followed the flow of the river current where he was sure that there were at least one or two humans who would stop there to drink water. In his mind it was only about the Ghosts from YuangXe that he had to watch out for before entering YuangXe himself. If only it could kill the person, Xin Chen was sure entering the land of YuangXe was not a difficult thing anymore.
However, while focusing on his search for the existence of the Ghosts from YuangXe, Xin Chen instead found a strange-looking girl in his eyes. The girl was wearing iron armor and a red headband on her head. Looks much stronger than seven years ago where they last met.
"The female Gorilla apparently came here."
The girl goosebumps for a split second and glares to see who was talking behind her.
