Ch. 107 - Fire Hedgehog
A Demon Frog with a size that was twice as large as an ordinary human was seen staring at the two, scanning Xin Chen and the Thunder Fox who were somewhat surprised at his presence.
"Still remember me, the Hermit Fox?"
"You..." The Lightning Fox approached him, "I didn't think you could still survive without me."
"Hahahaha it's been a long time, yeah."
"Wahh it looks like I'm in the middle of a heartwarming reunion. Should I go for a minute?"
The Lightning Fox hit Xin Chen's head rather hard, it made the frog demon that was watching them also focus its attention on the human child.
"Hm? Not usually a quiet fox like you has a human friend? What's been going on for years when you didn't come back here, tell me about it?"
after saying so he offered them to come to his place to hide from the humans. The Lightning Fox immediately agreed to the offer because from the beginning their goal was to the same place as the frog.
Xin Chen did not want to ask much, seeing these two demons talking so familiar and he was just like a display statue. Even if he tried to say it, he did not know what to talk about.
"So after all this time you finally decided to be friends with humans?"
"It's a long story..." The Lightning Fox slightly looked back where Xin Chen followed the two of them while whistling a little to relieve his sense of boredom.
"When I last visited you first, a few years later the Fog Forest where I lived the arrival of someone with the power of a Demon Man."
"That power... A terrifying power born only once a thousand years, the last time a human possessed such power I heard of dying at the hands of his own friend." He chimed in with an ironic look on his face, considering the position of the Demon Man and the demons were almost the same treated. Having great power does not always have a good impact, there are times when the power is even a snatch or considered a threat.
If Demon Man is considered a disaster then a demon whose age has stepped on the number of thousands of years is considered as a hunt to strengthen themselves. Take their gems and bodies that are very old and gain an advantage for themselves personally. Therefore even the frog demon is reluctant to show itself even though the area around here is fairly quiet.
Rather than fighting with humans who could bring dozens of people to catch him the frog demon would rather fight with each other one on one.
"Man is full of traps, the last time I fought with them I lost one of my eyes."
The Lightning Fox only realized that part of his friend's eyes was already murky white, seemingly poisoned by something so dangerous that the area around his eyes was shrinking. "But this guy I'm saying isn't the same one you usually see."
"I can't believe that anymore, my friend. You forgot I was nine thousand years old, you think how many humans have I met?"
The Lightning Fox sighed deeply, in fact she was a bit adamant about changing her friend's gaze towards human behavior. "Do you know that it's not the jewel of my life that was stolen by the Ice Dragon? When the fight was first I was defeated by him and did not dare to challenge him to fight again knowing that he would only suffer a crushing defeat."
The frog began to remember him, although it did not know why the Thunder Fox had suddenly brought up the matter and had absolutely nothing to do with humans.
"What's really going on? You intend to ask him to fight again to get it? I suggest it, even if you bring three Demon Rulers
True to what he said, the Lightning Fox nodded.
"Until here you understand that I am not at all comparable to fighting the Ice Dragon" said the Thunder Fox. He showed his forehead and something shone there. The jewel of life that was discussed was already there. "This jewel of my life.the human I mentioned earlier snatched back from the Ice Dragon and also killed it with his own hands."
The frog demon coughed in disbelief, he was not yet fully able to calm down and sabotage speaking. "Whatdidyou say? A human? Against the Ice Dragon? Don't be crazy!"
"You won't believe it but don't you feel the power of the ice element has disappeared from this earth?"
The frog demon could not quite sense what the Lightning Fox was asking because he was not one of the Ten Earth Rulers who each possessed elemental power.
But to him now, the Lightning Fox was not a boasting figure and was always serious in this kind of talk. Even if he lied, he understood that the Lightning Fox would not want to embarrass itself just because of something like this.
"I... I'm sorry, but this is completely out of the ordinary. When I saw you fighting the Ice Dragon and being easily defeated even after you put all your strength to death..." He spoke spontaneously, "It feels like now I want to meet the person you mean."
The Lightning Fox smiled slightly, "You won't be able to meet him because whenever he will always be in the midst of humans. Everyone is counting on him. While you?" The Lightning Fox slightly put on a petty look. "Not walking two sites from your house alone I'm sure you'll be chased by humans."
"Hahahaha damn you Monstrous Fox," a huge laugh rang out from his mouth. The fox spoke again.
"But there's no need to go far, this person I brought has a blood tie to him."
The frog demon was now diverted to Xin Chen from earlier behind them. But when he looked back he had absolutely no idea where the human the Lightning Fox meant went.
"The chen?" call the Lightning Fox.
"Yahoooooooooooo!!" there was a voice that was like a cry of fear.
Some time ago while entering the deepest part of the wilderness Xin Chen was attracted by a small hole where a hedgehog with slightly reddish-yellow spines passed by. He thought the animal wouldn't attack if it wasn't disturbed. Apparently approaching ten meters, the hedgehog has sounded threatened and chased after him like a demon.
"eeeeehs... The human child who defeated the real Ice Dragon that I saw? With the fire hedgehog alone has been smashed.."
"Hahahahhaha he is indeed somewhat something." The Lightning Fox replied as if, it seems that indeed Xin Chen will not change even if a dangerous enemy has been faced. The terrifying sense of being chased by something forced to make Xin Chen chase from the fire porcupine.
Xin Chen stopped running, although he could not bear to destroy the beast, so he chose to kill him instead of being targeted continuously. He stopped and just as the fire hedgehog was right before his eyes, the Lightning Sword was instantly created and pierced through the beast's body.
A short while later the fire hedgehog stopped and was helplessly engulfed, Xin Chen let out a breath. "Damn it, just coming here I'm making a riot."
"Hey son, just be careful. You killed one fire porcupine, there are still dozens of his family in this forest. And if they find out you killed one of them..." The frog gave a horrible look. Unexpectedly after he said that, a fire hedgehog that was the same size as a frog demon came. It seemed that his age with the frog demon was almost equivalent and most importantly, the huge fire hedgehog was addressing Xin Chen in a murderous gaze.
