Ch. 121 - Second Secret Technique
"I'm sure you must have a secret technique taught by the Thunder Fox, huft... There shouldn't be anything to worry about if I'm with an Earth Ruler Demon disciple like you."
Xin Chen scratched the back of his head somewhat embarrassed, he took out both of his fingers. The Electric Eel King's eyes stared at his finger for a long time as if thinking hard and then moved towards the Eel Monster. "Only with two moves you mean? You can beat him with just two moves? Shit, you should have used this secret technique before!"
Back to curse the Electric Eel King made, if Xin Chen had used his secret technique since then he would not be tormented in this boiling water, now his skin began to peel off by the hot temperature.
Looking at Xin Chen's movements, the Electric Eel King was sure this was the first secret technique he would release.
Without further ado since the time was no longer enough, Xin Chen used the power of the Fire Flower to absorb the entire force of nature to the maximum. As he sensed the immense power flowing back within his body Xin Chen understood one more new thing that natural energy had their respective elements. Ever since that moment when he held back the lightning explosion from the Eel Monster and absorbed the power of the lightning into his body, it had changed the type of lightning energy he could do to become even greater.
And now he was confident that by absorbing the natural energy coming out of this Fire of Eternity his body would gain a much greater fire element power. But who would have thought that thought was a big mistake, when trying to absorb the power his body was injured and his mouth was bleeding.
"Stop absorbing it or you'll die!" the Electric Eel King shouted as he learned of Xin Chen's purpose, his tone sounded panicked. "The Fire Power of Eternity belongs to this Monster is very dangerous, I don't really know where he got this special power but, as far as I know this kind of fire can kill anything alive and vice versa."
'Kill the living and vice versa?' xin Chen's inner heart, he looked even more clearly at the bluish flames raging beneath him, the flames slowly surrounding the Eel Monster then killing the lives of anyone around him. The Electric Eels swimming near the Eel Monsters died unresponsive, the Fire of Eternity swapped the Electric Eels' lives for great power on the Eel Monsters.
Xin Chen had to act quickly, he took a determined action before running out of time. This time by gathering the natural energy around and creating a shield for the ultimate defense, Xin Chen began to move forward.
The Electric Eel King was intent on holding him back because when Xin Chen left the Eel Monster had unleashed an explosion of Eternity Lightning, he was sure Xin Chen would not go crazy using previous tactics such as absorbing the power belonging to the Monster. The Fire of Eternity is not like any other force of nature, it is more dangerous than poison and kills more than sharp weapons. He was sure Xin Chen understood very well his intentions and would think twice before acting.
Behind it all even though the chances of winning were only slight, the Electric Eel King was still hoping on the two secret techniques Xin Chen would release. This made him hold great hope.
A few seconds before the Eternity Lightning passed through his body, Xin Chen stopped using the lightning shield and instantly his skin seemed to be burnt by the water on this seabed. The closer the Eel Monster got, the heat it felt rose five times higher. The Blood Ghost Mask worked at a very precise time, as the Lightning of Eternity flashed past his body that was in spirit mode, making it translucent and unaffected by any physical attacks.
And lastly Xin Chen again unleashed the power of the Blood Ghost Mask and took out the Steel Phoenix Sword, the sword was flowed by the force of the change of fire and Lightning types. Although it was not so strong as to pierce through the hard rock-coated skin of the Eel Monster, Xin Chen was sure the creature had at least a point of weakness.
Sure enough, there was a point on the neck of one of the heads of the monster that had a sharp scratch gap, the gap in the stone skin was actually due to his fight with the King of Electric Eels first and until now still open even if only in line. Since indeed Xin Chen's eyesight was very good in such crucial moments then he easily found the gap.
The power of the Lightning Sword fused onto the Steel Phoenix within his grasp, Xin Chen raised the sword up high and directly smashed it with all his might against the gap of his target, The Eel Monster growled furiously and instantly flicked its tail to fend off Xin Chen in order to release the sword from its body. But unfortunately the boy dodged more nimble and still stabbed at the same time.
Once again Xin Chen's heartbeat weakened, his breathing was almost non-existent while the heat tortured his body to the bone.
One of the five Monster Eel heads was finally decapitated, the black blood flowing fused together with the seawater while that Xin Chen instantly changed using his spirit mode. He was sure that after his actions, the Eel Monster would no longer sit still in its place and would chase after him in disobedience.
In a place not far from him, the Electric Eel King choked on the water entering his throat. He blinked a few times, either there was something wrong with his vision or how, that secret technique he thought was so powerful it turned out to be just an ordinary slash. And now, before the Eel Monster killed Xin Chen disappeared.
The few seconds he appeared near the Electric Eel King, his presence made the Demon extremely shocked. "What's? You want to use the second secret technique? If I need my help, I can lend you my strength!"
Xin Chen shook his head slowly, he gestured for his second strategy. Xin Chen's mouth moved saying something without making a sound.
"RUN!"
"What-what?!" The Electric Eel King flinched, he saw Xin Chen had already swam upwards away from him whereas behind him the Eel Monster started chasing after them with a look of wrathful eyes.
"It's a shame...!" The Electric Eel King cursed in anger half to death, willing to protest in any way he did not have power. Xin Chen was indeed from the start making his head dizzy in circles. And now what scared him even more was that the Eel Monster actually came out of its nest and came out chasing them.
The Electric Eel King became excited himself, he only realized his skin had peeled off and soon his internal organs would be injured. While the road leading into the mountain was still quite far away, he decided to swim faster and stop complaining.
With the swimming speed he had the Electric Eel King dragged Xin Chen back even faster.
