Ch. 258 - Physician Wasted
"I'm asking you about information not your opinion." Xin Chen's voice sounded unfriendly, after all Ru Yaoxi even finished her time by chattering at length and honestly Xin Chen did not want to be advised at times like this.
Ru Yaoxi smiled awkwardly, not needing to think for long she immediately walked in the dark hallways of the room. One of the rooms was locked tightly, he knew inside there was a person and held back a step until Xin Chen caught up. The villagers who were with him said they would wait outside.
"There are only women inside. Please don't kill him."
Xin Chen nodded, having just opened the door a puncture nearly pierced through his eyes. A 25-year-old woman clasped a small knife trembling. He looks so scared. Xin Chen brushed off that hand and turned to some papers and scrolls stored under the table.
He didn't open it right away. Xin Chen's eyes were instead attracted to the wooden floor he stepped on. It sounded like empty space as he set foot there. The young man stomped his steps once more. Shake the sword until it splits the wood on the floor.
A small crate was seen, Xin Chen immediately picked it up. The woman next to him wanted to snatch but Ru Yaoxi's hand was against him.
"He's not gonna kill us. Trust me."
"But if you know ..."
"He's dead."
The face adorned with beautiful makeup turned fearful, lowered his hands back and chose to observe the movements of the creepy stranger.
"Who is he?" whispered the woman was small. Ru Yaoxi chimed in, "The present leader of the Four Surveillance Units."
"Why do you want to follow him?!"
The female's tone was slightly restrained, she was really angry and was about to slap Ru Yaoxi in the face. The woman is the one who usually writes the letter before it is given to the courier. His hand carvings are beautiful and some of the paintings in this place are partly his work.
The woman turned her head as Xin Chen rolled back the paper. "I think I should meet them directly."
"Who, Sir?"
"People of the Four Surveillance Units in the Qing Empire. They knew something about the Demon Sword. I'm sure they had a chance to talk about the location of the Demonic Human Sword and the Celestial Emperor which was a clue to the person's whereabouts. They've burned some of the information they sent."
Xin Chen stuffed the scroll under his clothes.
"Ru Yaoxi, actually I can't completely trust you either. But the Four Surveillance Units are now in need of strength like you. Go to the Valley of the Gods, I will tell Lan Zhuxian about your arrival."
"Master, before that, may I know what your name is?"
Xin Chen shook his head, not answering to make Ru Yaoxi misbehave. The question seemed to be so disturbing and Ru Yaoxi was intent on apologizing. "Hahaha, knowing you're the leader of the Four Surveillance Units feels even more awkward. I just want to think of you as my friend, sir. Like I said. Huh ... Sorry, sorry."
"Is there something you want to say?" Xin Chen shifted the subject, Ru Yaoxi immediately nodded. "Can I bring this woman along?"
"Who is he?"
"She's my wife's sister, I can't just let her die. He killed someone and is still wanted. I told my wife that she also worked in the same house as me as a waitress. If he comes back, those people will definitely kill him."
"No."
"But-"
"I'm a physician, sir." The woman took off the cloth she wrapped in her hand. Removing a few small pieces of cloth containing medicines he formulated from herbal plants.

"Thank you, my lord." The two spoke in unison, while Xin Chen ran over the herd of Four Surveillance Units that were currently besieging the front yard. Ru Yaoxi and the woman had already managed to escape through the forest, they also invited one more person to come with them.
From a distance, the ground started to shake violently. A chase between humans and demons takes place on a vast plain. A huge fire burned two adult males at once, Ye Long slapped the body of the other with a tail until it crashed and slammed into the tree trunk. The dragon went berserk again, chasing after the warriors who kept running from him.
Unknowingly the group met their own hostage who is now carrying a bloody sword. Red drops dripped on the tip of the sword, just as the blood fell to the floor, the figure disappeared in the darkness of the night.
Something moved very quickly in the midst of the warriors, just like the wind passing through them. As fast as lightning slashed at their necks without showing their form.
When they could see the hostages behind them, blood spilled from the incision in their necks. One by one they fell and left only a dying groan that sounded painful. Ye Long snorted, bulldozing his tail to and fro with a huff.
"Oh, I smell a delicious roasted cow."
"There are no cows here. Don't mess with it."
Ye Long circled around his master, "I killed a lot of anchovies, hey, my waist also sounded from waiting too long. This job also drains me."
"You ate beef yesterday at the market."
"That's a different story again."
Xin Chen paused for a moment, plucking out some grass with an annoyed look on his face. "There are no cows here. Just eat some grass?"
"Gurrah!"

"Whatever humans are, they deserve to be treated like other people. My dad said it."
Ye Long stopped from his movements.
While Xin Chen stared long at the corpses. "I think I almost forgot all the messages from Dad. And also ... Thunder Fox."

I thought Sunday would be free, but there was a sudden business. Afternoon can only return home, can only take 5 chapters. Tonight I'll make a paper for tomorrow's presentation.
