Ch. 100 - Target
"Cih, then get ready to fight with me! You all back off! Let me face this second Young Master Xin!"
"Okay, understand the Chairman!"
Xin Chen folded his hands in confusion, "Have you wanted to fight? Who will fight?"
"You're! Seriously fight or not?"
"You're supposed to be serious, did you lose your mind to take a fight to a minor like me?"
The Chairman of the Four Surveillance Units silenced his mouth speechless, he still looked so emotional yet on the other hand Xin Chen said the truth. Challenging a fight like this was just like doing such an embarrassing thing for a senior fighter like him.
"If that's what you want, whoever gets this Steel Phoenix first when it's thrown has the right to have it. Understood?"
"Snap speed? Huh, you feel superior to me?"
Xin Chen shook his head lightly, "No, at least the only thing I can hope for is just that."
"Well if that's what you want!"
Xin Chen took out two pieces of Phoenix Steel Pieces from his spatial ring while looking at the faces of the warriors in front of him for a moment who were already impatient to fight over the Heavenly Heirloom. Despite knowing this was quite dangerous to do but Xin Chen had to make sure he escaped in a fair enough manner.
Because if he ran away without making them ashamed of the defeat, it could be that the Four Surveillance Units violently attacked and instead attacked the people around him. It was feared that it would even affect his family in the White Mist Valley. Although he knew his father would not let his mother and Xin Zhan get hurt but still, his father was not there all the time. To him making sure this problem does not spread to other places is very important.

Xin Chen managed to snatch one of them while the other one went out of nowhere, he had no time to snatch one more piece as the Chairman of the Four Surveillance Units moved beyond his expectations.
Ye Long suddenly appeared and forced Xin Chen to climb onto it, he crashed into the ceiling of the basement which was indeed about to collapse and fly freely out of the place.
Xin Chen gave a small smile as he looked at Ye Long, how not, the dragon bit the red Phoenix Steel Puck between his teeth. It seemed that Ye Long's flying speed was much faster than the Chairman of the Four Surveillance Units.
"You are indeed the reliable one, Ye Long." Xin Chen could only pat the dragon proudly, it was time to return to the Lightning Fox as soon as possible and immediately leave from Shengyou Village before the people from the Four Surveillance Units chased after him.
On the way back Xin Chen was able to find the Lightning Fox from a distance, the Fox figure was still waiting for them where they had met earlier while gathering its strength in the open. The wind above the hills made his tail feathers move quietly.
Xin Chen's heart seemed to jump from its sockets when the fox opened its eyes, completely a facial expression that almost resembled a demon. Ye Long even tried to hide behind his body when that gaze was directed at them.
"I-I can explain...."
"Explain what?"
Xin Chen painstakingly swallowed his saliva, perhaps explaining to the Lightning Fox it would be much harder than escaping from the headquarters of the Four Surveillance Units.
"Look, my Steel Phoenix Sword was stolen while I was searching for another piece of Steel Phoenix just like you ordered it."
"How could you be that reckless? You should have known from the beginning, take out that Steel Phoenix Sword only when you need a weapon to fight an opponent that you are difficult to match." The Lightning Fox put on a dislike face, Xin Chen could see it clearly and could do nothing more.
"Yes, yeah. I was careless. But at least I got it back with the other piece of Phoenix Steel."
The Lightning Fox gave off a stealthy aura so powerful, "You think that's good enough already? I can hear the noise from far away. They will be your biggest enemies from now on. And maybe also everyone in the Empire after this will be eyeing your head! You understand what I mean?"
Although it was a bit of a shock because of the clash Xin Chen tried to remain calm, it was true what the Thunder Fox said. It did not rule out that the people from the Four Surveillance Units reported that two pieces of Phoenix Steel were in his hands.
Who wouldn't want to take the item if they knew the exact location. Xin Chen could guarantee that even his head would be targeted by people like Zhang Ziyi in the future. In this world there are still many reliable fighters who have strength above the normal limits of ordinary humans. They could even live for more than three to five hundred years using force.
However Xin Chen somewhat disagreed with the thought of the Lightning Fox, he was still trying to think using the viewpoint of the people of the Four Surveillance Units. Seeing them so obsessed with obtaining the two pieces of Steel Phoenix earlier at least Xin Chen could draw one conclusion.
"They won't tell this to outsiders. If they say I took this inheritance from them, obviously their Chairman would be underestimated for not getting rid of a child like me. And after all if they were to tell this to the crowd it would be just like they added a competitor to fight over this Steel Phoenix from my hands."
The face of the Lightning Fox changed somewhat when Xin Chen explained the reason, it was quite reasonable for him even though the current fox still wanted to scold him.

"This way you know where you are right now, Chen?"

"Good, good." Xin Chen was about to step up but his legs were restrained when he realized something was off. He watched Ye Long once more and linked his two eyebrows.
"The shell I gave you yesterday is gone?" Xin Chen still remembered he had taken Gu Long's item and gave it as a gift to Ye Long. It disappeared from his neck.
