Marrying the Vampire Prince

Marrying the Vampire Prince
Chapter 51's

Someone deliberately cleared his throat so that Evie could only push Gavriel away.

"Your Majesty, this is more than time. We have to leave now." Luc said, his face could still remain calm, despite everything he saw and heard.

"Go, I'll be fine." Evie also urged her husband while trying to escape from his clutches. Elias also emerged from the stairs, already holding Evie's robe and dagger with him.

"Alright," Gavriel's grip finally loosened somewhat reluctantly. His struggle to let go was obvious to everyone present.

"But I want you to kiss me first." Gavriel demands Evie boldly, no matter that her men and servants are there to witness how childish she is right now.

Evie, and the other two vampires could actually hear their jaws falling to the ground.

He glanced at Elias and Luc and the two suddenly turned around, turning their backs in an attempt to give the couple their privacy - well, whatever privacy could be afforded in such a place.

"Please finish it quickly, Madam." Luc begged and he could hear the embarrassment from his voice.

"Hurry up, Princess." Elias also made a sound and Evie could only smile wryly as she gave up. He knew this man was impossible sometimes, but so far? My God, he can't believe that he's asking for this right now.

Evie quickly wrapped her arms around her neck and kissed her. Knowing that Gavriel would not be satisfied with the kiss, especially since she had already opened it for him, inviting him in, Evie slipped her tongue into his mouth and kissed him.

It was very difficult for him to control himself especially when he started to respond intensely.

He groaned in his mouth, wanting him to stop now or else ...

Fortunately, he pulls himself away from her with great difficulty and turns to Luc and Elias while Evie tries to catch her breath and calm herself down.

"Take him back to the castle first, Luc." His orders were much more serious now and the two vampires heaved a sigh of relief. Zolan had just appeared when Luc and Elias approached Evie.

Before Elias could help Evie put on her robe, Gavriel had taken the robe from her and personally put it on Evie. Elias could only sigh and retreat, knowing that the prince had already been forced to let someone else take his wife away.

"Wait for me." Gavriel whispers before finally releasing Evie and nods towards Luc, giving him permission to approach his wife.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty" Luc said and he lifted her carefully into his arms. This was one precious bundle that he needed to protect with his life.

Evie's eyes are fixed on Gavriel's eyes as Luc jumps away until he can't see her anymore.

Gavriel let out a long sigh and finally turned his gaze away from the castle and faced the other side.

Breaking his neck, the look in his eyes instantly changed and the almost dazzling aura he emitted just a moment ago became extremely cold and dark like night.

"All right," said Gavriel, "let's end this as soon as possible."

Gavriel tilted his head. "I'm not interested in playing with him or anyone right now." His eyes turned evil and a smile fell on his lips.

"I'm only interested in my little wife right now."

Zolan blinked and then frowned. 'What is he talking about?' he thought to himself, confused by the new side his prince showed.

"Let's go." Gavriel then jumps off the watchtower with an almost strange enthusiasm and excitement that Zolan has never seen before.

"It looks like something interesting happened before I arrived." Zolan muttered and followed him. He reminds himself to dig out what happened from Luc later.

...

It was late at night when the crown prince and his army reached the mighty fortress of Dacria.

Shocked and overwhelmed, the spirit of the Dacrian warriors began to descend just by looking at their enemies. None of them hoped that the crown prince would come to them in full force. He not only brought along a mighty imperial army, but also three out of five terrifying mixed-blooded vampires.

The number of imperial soldiers was enough to overwhelm them and besides, they also brought three monsters! How would normal Dacrian warriors be expected to win, going into such a battle? They are outnumbered and underpowered compared to them.

Prince Gavriel is strong, but can he win against three mixed-blood vampires alone? They had heard that the five men who were with their prince were also strong, but how strong were they? Wasn't fighting in this battle just pure suicide?

Fear and uncertainty were evident and evident in the eyes of every Dacrian warrior. No matter how much they tried to awaken themselves, the fact was that their number was only a quarter of what the imperial army had. This alone was enough to make their situation desperate. They will be annihilated mercilessly; their prince is savagely killed and Dacria will be destroyed!

"It seems you need to say something to the army, Prince Gavriel" Zolan said.

"The soldiers have faltered, and the war has not even started yet" muttered Reed who shook his head as Samuel interrupted.

"What did you say? The war has begun, you idiot. And the intimidated reaction of our soldiers just means that we've lost the first wave of battle now."

Gavriel whose eyes were fixed on the figure of the crown prince at the very back sighed. "I don't think my words alone can lift their morale. There's only one thing I can do to give them hope and lift their fighting spirit." He said and then he smiled. "You know what I mean, right?"

His men straightened up, their gazes suddenly sharpened, and their eyes narrowed dangerously as they nodded.

"We will show our soldiers that they have nothing to fear. No one can get through this wall." Gavriel declares and he draws his sword. His moon-like eyes were painted red and his aura darkened and thickened so his men had to take a few steps away from him. "You all help our soldiers, hand the half-blood vampire over to me."

"Yes, Your Majesty." Gavriel's men all smiled, with the promise of death at the end of their smiles.

Staring uneasily out the window, towards the frontline that even her eyes could not see, Evie remained tense long after Luc had lowered her down according to Gavriel's orders. He somehow felt that the air was heavier and colder, even though the temperature was the same as last night.
