"Do you want to try holding my sword?" Gavriel asked as he Evie constantly glanced at his sword. But as soon as those words came out, he suddenly covered his lips with the back of his hand while his gaze fell somewhere. His mind had rewound as he touched and caressed her and .. Damn, he cursed softly.
"Yes. I want to try ..." He said enthusiastically, his eyes twinkling and Gavriel cursing again in his mind. He was already aroused, but with an innocent enthusiasm added to the innuendo, he thought that he might explode if it continued. He looked at her and he knew that she was the only one whose mind was straying to another place further away from the handkerchief.
Sighing, he tried to clear his mind. He unsheathed his sword and carefully, he guided his hand
in holding the handle using the correct grip.
"Be careful wife. It's dangerous if you're careless in handling it."
"I knew. Don't worry, I think I can handle your sword."
"Yes, of course you can." He mumbled slowly. "And you're very good at it even though it's your first time."
"Hmm?" he looked at her, blinked at her quiet mutter and he bit his lips, sighing again. He resisted the urge to pick them up and took them both to his room to do some more interesting activities than just holding on to a cold dead sword.
"It's heavier than I thought" he said as Gavriel let go of his hand and let him handle it himself.
The next moment, he experimentally swung the sword. He nearly stumbles over the power of the swing and the weight of the sword, but Gavriel catches him with laughter and solidifies him in time.
"Quiet, wife. It's too heavy for you to swing it like that."
"Can you teach me how to fight with the sword?" He asked suddenly and Gav fell silent. The soldiers were also surprised by his request and stared at Evie. Obviously they never expected him to say that
"Well, I'm sure it's not bad at all. We should be glad he found something else to watch. Or else, we would be stuck in the Middle Lands right now, hunting ferocious beasts while waiting for war. " Zolan pondered and everyone agreed.

…
"My sword is too heavy for you Evie," said Gavriel putting her hand on top of hers, stopping her from swinging the sword again. He had taught her some basic steps and helped her refine her grip on the sword as she positioned herself right behind him, effectively confining him within the confines of her powerful arms.
He was quite considerate and deliberate despite the fact that he was struggling. Gavriel had long wanted to stop him and prevent him ever since he realized that he was having trouble even lifting him up. He continued to stare at her small and fragile wrist, afraid and worried that she might exert too much force or might even injure herself. But how could he have the heart to tell her to stop when she was determined like this?
Gavriel held on for a long time but when he saw his hand begin to tremble slightly during the next attempt at swinging the sword, Gavriel stood in front of him. He firmly and firmly took the sword from his hand and sheathed it.
"Your wrist can't hold him back for today." he revealed it as neutrally as possible, trying his best not to make the mistake of offending him.
"You're very good at archery, wife. In fact, if you further hone those skills, you can become one of the best. You're the best female archer I've ever seen."
Evie's eyes widened slightly. He looked at her, pouting as he expected a mischievous expression to appear on his face but was surprised at how serious he was. Did she really...wait...of course, what she meant was a female human archer, right? Sure oes. And she's easily the best because she's probably the only female human who likes and practices archery as a hobby.
With a pouting face, Evie stared at her sword again. "Yes. I'm fine, but using a bow and arrow is useless when the opponent is right in front of me." He said and Gavriel's fingers twitched.
He knew he was thinking about the situation he encountered when he was in the small forest. The thought of the moment made Gavriel's blood boil quietly within him. He has sworn he will never let such a thing happen – again. He could not help feeling angry at himself and now he could only agree with his desire to learn to protect himself.
After looking at him for a long time, Gavriel sighed. "alright. But you cannot practice with this sword. I'll prepare something else just for you."
Gavriel returns Evie to her room as the night gets late, and the temperature drops further to the negative.
As soon as they were inside, Gavriel went to the table and pulled something out of his drawer.
"I gave you this, Evie." He said as he placed the beautiful-looking dagger in its scabbard onto his open palm.
Evie looked at him and when he finished it, she suddenly felt strange. Is it because the dagger looks weird? The sword was pitch black. It was so black that it seemed to swallow the light that surrounded it. It was not heavy though a little bigger.
"You can use this for close combat. All you have to do is pin this on the enemy. But be careful, because this dagger is special. It can kill instantly even if your prick doesn't hit an important place." Gavriel explained. His gaze never left his face as he spoke.
He swallowed and watched her. "remarkable. Is it because it's poisonous?"
"Mm. something like that." Gavriel's response was unclear.
"Are you really giving this to me. You mean I can keep it? It seems like something very valuable..." Evie asked quietly, half talking to herself and partly checking with Gavriel.
Gavriel smiled and leaned over to kiss the corner of her lips. "Yes, wife. It's yours now. Let him take good care of you."
The snow fell fast enough that Gavriel had Elias prepare their food in their dwelling. Evie was already sitting at the table when Elias suddenly appeared again and apologized to Evie that the prince would not join her for their dinner.
"Something suddenly appears so that he cannot join you for a meal, Your Majesty. But he promised that he would return in time to sleep here." Elias relayed information from his prince, keeping his tone as neutral as possible.
"I understand Elias. I know he's very busy. I'm glad he joined me for dinner." He smiled at the butler and seeing a warm and sweet smile, Elias did not try to explain any further. He could tell that the princess completely understood the situation and was happy that the royal couple managed to reach this stage so that they could understand each other enough to avoid more misunderstandings. He did not think he would be able to survive the anger of his prince in case of any more misunderstandings between them.
