Marrying the Vampire Prince

Marrying the Vampire Prince
Chapter 50's

When she came out of their room, Evie somehow looked better. Elias then escorted her to the watchtower. Along the way, he tells Evie that Gavriel woke up early to check on some things with his men and has just returned.

Gavriel was already standing tall when he finally saw her, as if he had already sensed her presence before he could even see her from the stairs.

Flaunting her heart-pounding smile, she looked at him with a glistening look as she pulled her chair for him.

Inevitably Evie was distracted for a moment from all his disturbing thoughts and feelings. It was impossible for him not to be tracked every time he looked at her.

At first, she struggles to act as she normally would, but eventually, Gavriel manages to keep her focus on her as they eat and talk to each other.

"Last night..." Gavriel starts just as they finish their dinner. His gaze suddenly turned intense and deep as his hand that was about to wipe the corner of his lips with his thumb froze, hanging in midair. "You let me touch you" she added in a low voice and Evie finally recalled everything that happened while they were in the bathroom. Describing it as hot and steamy really makes it light.

Evie could feel her heart speeding up and her mind starting to spin.

His cheeks were flushed hard. He began to recall the indescribable pleasure he felt last night. He could remember and imagine everything very clearly in the eyes of his mind.

Seeing his reaction, Gavriel got up from his seat and towered above him. "You remember." He was breathing, suddenly looking very happy and very intense. "Tell me something, do you allow it just because of the influence of wine...? Evie?" he asked, his eyes blazing, staring at him as if he was going to devour him there and then if he said no.

Evie's heart started pounding. He really did not know if wine had been the main factor influencing him to finally let him touch it. But deep down, Evie only knew that the wine might have nothing to do with it.

Although she was sure the wine had lent her courage and courage and perhaps killed her embarrassment in the process, she didn't know when it started but she wanted – not – needed it to touch her.

She was very curious how her touch felt, and now that she had the experience of being held by him, being touched by him, she knew it was no longer possible for her to say no.

Because even at this moment, he still wanted and coveted the man to touch him again. The only difference was that now, he wanted to feel it when he was completely conscious and not under the influence of any form of wine, he said,

Seeing her with her own glittering eyes, Evie gulped and then opened her lips to answer.

But before a word came out of his lips, one of his men, a big man named Luc, landed in front of them, making Evie quite surprised.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty. But my Prince, you must hear this. Caius and his army are approaching!"

Shock was clearly etched on Evie's face as Gavriel moved away from her and faced Luc.

Evie saw how her face had changed from a cheerful and seductive face, to a cold and stone-like face.

"Bring my wife back to the castle." He ordered in a calm voice and the green-eyed blonde immediately nodded.

Evie reached out and clasped Gavriel's coat. Expression bad.

Seeing the worry in his eyes, Gavriel leaned over and whispered to him. "Don't put that face on, baby. Didn't I promise to protect you? I won't let a single unwanted person through this wall so don't worry, okay? Next, we have to continue what we started but was violently interrupted.... right?" Gavriel flirts with a grin, trying to assuage Evie's concerns.

The certainty in her voice made Evie feel safe and the ridicule managed to make her relax a little. However, she was not so worried about herself but more for him.

He knew he was strong but ... previous nightmare ... what if his father allied with the crown prince? No, why was his father with the crown prince? The crown prince is the enemy of mankind. And the weather is not bad.

He looked up at the sky and it was clear. The first sign that a dragon will arrive sooner or later is a thick dark cloud that appears in the sky.

If the dragon guards went to war, the gloomy weather would follow him wherever he went. And when it was time for the dragon guard to summon the creature, a thunderstorm would precede the dragon as he headed to the location of the guard, which was,

But still, he couldn't help but feel worried for her. War is war – war knows no friends or enemies and has no limits. Anything can happen.

"Evie," Gavriel's voice echoed and then her lips gently touched hers.

When her eyes widened slightly with her unexpected movements, she leaned over, giving him a small smile. "You didn't listen" he gently rebuked.

"W-did you say something?" he stuttered, confused. He could not believe he was so calm and could even behave like this to her at a time like this.

His memory of those who went to war before was always shrouded in a heavy and somber mood. Therefore, he was a little surprised by his current behavior.

Gavriel did not reply immediately, he looked at her and then leaned towards her again until her lips almost touched her ears. "I asked if I could touch you."

Perhaps because of the situation, Evie failed to catch the mischief in her voice. He was just trying to ease his tension. But Evie took her words seriously.

"Of course." He replied without hesitation despite the pink hue on his cheek that covered his embarrassment. However, his eyes were very serious. "Don't I approve this last night?" he added.

The thin pink hue turned into a deep red stain on her cheek, but the situation seemed to have made Evie's tongue problem go away. He used to be confused and it took too long to respond to things like this.

At that moment, Gavriel froze, completely shocked. What did he just hear?

Reaching out, Evie hugged her strong and wide body and hugged her. "You can. You can touch me as you please once you get back. so please come back to me safely." He whispered in his chest, knowing that he could hear her clearly.

The feeling inside his chest grew bigger and bigger until he felt it was too heavy to bear. When did her feelings for him grow to this proportion?

"I'll wait for you back at the castle." He added as his grip on the man tightened, unwilling to let go.

Gavriel is still a frozen statue when Evie finally convinces herself to let go to see his face. He knew he had to let go now. He has to leave now. His men need him.

"Go, your people need you out there." He told her in a calm voice, not letting his worries appear on his face anymore.

She tried her hardest to become a supportive and loving wife who would wait patiently at home until her husband returned triumphant from the war.

A lowly masculine groan suddenly resounded as Gavriel, the statue, finally moved. She pulled her hair with one hand while her gaze on Evie glittered with an intensity she had never seen before. His eyes were so bright that Evie momentarily forgot to breathe.

And then, with a sudden and greedy move, he lunged and hugged her firmly. One hand hugged her with an unbreakable grip while the other held her face and kissed her hungry.

"Gav..." Evie groaning. "Wait…"

"Oh, Evie..." It took everything for him to stop and pull away. "You're so mean. Suddenly telling me all this while we were right in the middle of this situation." He growled again.

"Do you know how I feel now? I've been waiting for this for a long time and now that I hear these words, I've been waiting .. I can't ... why did you tell me this? now either?" his whispers were filled with frustration and need.

"Let's be. 'cause I want you back safely." Evie said as she gently stroked her face. "If you really want to touch me, hold me. .. return to me safely."

He cursed, pulled his hand through his hair and then his hand flew to both sides of his face. "Just wait, Evie. I'll make you pay for this." His eyes sparkled with a dangerous and barbaric need that triggered something inside Evie. "Just wait. I swear ... I'm gonna get this over with real quick." He promised her, her voice heavy with desire.

"If I don't die wait..." Evie heard Gavriel muttering softly.
