Marrying the Vampire Prince

Marrying the Vampire Prince
chapter 10's

His eyes opened looking at her sudden movements and looked at her again, silently but intensely before he bit his lower lip desperately.

"Are you still not fully awake? Fine." He nodded as if trying to reason with himself.

"I slept next to you because I'm your husband and you're my wife." He told her in a serious voice but almost mocked.

Evie was forced to look away because staring back at the pair of silvery moon eyes was too bothering her. He could not allow himself to be made mute by his gaze. He must respond. But before he could open his mouth, the vampire prince spoke again.

"Say, Evielyn," his eyes pondered.

"The deal is that I'm not allowed to touch you without your consent, and I promise to respect that and will never force myself on you or hurt you. But it seems like the meaning of those words to you is not the same. as I understand? The way you react is as if I'm not allowed to stay in the same room and lie in the same bed as you, right? Evielyn?"

She bit her lips again, this time even harder. Evie stiffened because she felt the atmosphere become heavy. Worries began to overwhelm him, fearing that his eyes would turn red. Butno.

"Listen," his voice became calm, completely calm.

"If that's your understanding, then I'm sorry, my wife. But I want you to understand that it's really off the mark and I'm not going to buy that kind of shit. You and I are married, therefore, we will stay at home.same room and lie on the same bed. "

Evie felt her throat dry. But before he could even form a verbal or physical response, his stomach suddenly rang. His face reddened, and he immediately lowered his head in embarrassment while Gavriel blinked and pursed his lips as his eyes traced his belly.

After a moment of silence, Evie's stomach rang again. Evie could not see his expression, but she finally felt him pull away and heard him call the waiter.

Gavriel took the robe and put it on when the door opened. As Evie raised her head towards the door, shock dyed her face as she looked at the two ladies dressed in maid in black and white.

"M-human?" he muttered as he looked at Gavriel with wide eyes.

"Don't tell me you can't recognize a fellow human being?" Gavriel looked at him with a confused look. The displeasure on his face was gone.

"Of course you can. It's just. I just..." Evie was surprised. He doesn't know what to say. Everything ... The opposite of his expectations keeps happening. He could tell that the two women were human in one glance, but Evie could not help but hesitate because the girls were fine, they were fine, very healthy and even looks bright and cheerful. It's really a surprise. He expects to be served by man alone because it is included in the deal, but she thought her servants might look terrible because they were supposed to be treated as slaves forced to give blood and sexual pleasure to the vampires. So why? How could? How could they look so good and healthy as if they were living their lives happily in this country?

"Good day, miss" said one of the girls. They were both red-haired, but one had long hair braided while the other had short hair neatly tied into ponytails. "My name is Fray." Introducing the long-haired and

"My name is Gina" introduced the short-haired one.

"We're so happy to finally meet you and serve you, Miss." They bow to him.

Evie struggled for a moment to find her voice.

"It's good to see you too, Gina, Fray." He managed to say it. His mind was still swirling with questions, but even though this was completely unexpected, he still felt extremely happy and relieved. He did not know how he would react if these two girls appeared before him in the conditions he had imagined and expected.

"Yes, Your Majesty." They said, simultaneously before they approached Evie and led her to the door that seemed to be the bathroom.

Evie looked back and when her eyes met Gavriel's, she suddenly threw away her face. He did not like the reaction of his body to her. She was confused about how her gaze seemed to affect her in a strange but apparently unwelcome way.

"And he was still dumbfounded at his words right before his stomach was rumbling. Highlight his eyes as he said those words moved something inside him and an emotion approaching the alarm had hit him.

Because her husband could not touch her without her permission, Evie never bothered to think of herself as a wife or her life as a married woman. He never thought about any of that. Because she knew this was no ordinary wedding. In fact, this is the first time in history that a vampire and a human were put together in marriage. Everyone, even his parents and including himself, also hoping that she who will soon be her husband does not even want to be with him because she already knows about the deal that she cannot touch him as she wants. He also hoped that he would ignore her, sending her to a separate or secluded palace while she continued to enjoy her life as usual, as if she had not married at all. So why? Why did he say those words? Why would he want to stay with her and even sleep in the same bed as her?

"Miss, are you okay?" Fray asked and when Evie saw the worried look on the maid's face, she immediately calmed down.

"I'm. I'm fine. I guess I'm just hungry" she smiled, and the servants relaxed.

"Where did you two come from? Are you from the Eastern empire?" Evie then asked as the servants were all around her.

"No, Miss. Me and Fray were both born here."

"really?" Evi surprised. He was surprised but barely managed to keep his composure and tried not to be too flashy.

"Yes. My grandmother is from the Western Empire" Fray said.

"And my father is from the East" continued Gina.

"So, we have never set foot on any human land, Miss. That's why we were so happy to meet you when His Majesty told us about you."

Evie wants to ask more about Fray's grandmother and Gina's father, but she holds back. Because he remembered the harsh words of his father and the emperor that he should not fully trust the human servants who would be assigned to him. Evie thought it made sense, considering these servants were born in this country. Their loyalty may be entirely to vampires or worse, they may be under a vampire spell.

"He told you about me? When?"

"Just a few days ago, Madam."

"Are you two the prince's servants for a long time?"

"Yes. My parents are gardeners here."

"I understand." Evie nodded and focused her gaze on the water. He wanted to investigate further but he stopped himself. He still had plenty of opportunities to question them. For now, he would try to observe them and behave as normally as possible around them.
