He's Not The Best

He's Not The Best
91. The Secret of the Future

After reading the message, Winsi did not reply anymore because he was reluctant to comment on writing that felt ridiculous. He was thinking what he would do if they met this time.

Erlan who was across the street had no idea what was going on at home, the man was busy running his exams which could take days. Winsi did contact her without any intention of interrupting the ongoing exam and was eager to tell her the truth why she gave the message first.

It's a thing that's never been done before even he never replies to erlen messages except a little and when forced.

The girl won't say anything about Grandpa's death because of Arkan's request. He could not imagine how disappointed Erlan would be if he found out after all had passed or when he returned to his own country after finishing the examination.

Winsi again shed tears as she thought about that. It feels sad to think of loss as well as disappointment. Forgot he already with Erlan's words about Waila who had earlier offended his heart. How is it that Winsi and Waila will behave the same while they are different personalities.

Erlan said so in fact just because it provoked his reaction and comments when he said about other women. But what Erlan expected was far from reality because it turned out, Winsi did not serve him even, did not use his feelings to be influenced to be jealous or angry, when Erlan compared himself to Waila.

The funeral procession will begin soon. Initially Winsi and Runa also wanted to take part in delivering the bodies, for the last time to the cemetery which was located quite far from the settlement where they lived.  But Arkan forbade the cause, he saw that Runa was still in a weakened state.

“You should stay at home,” Arkan said calmly as he walked following the group that had lifted the coffin.

“But, Dad ...”

“Win... Just take care of your mother at home, see she's still weak like that. I won't let you guys come, it's enough to bring Grandpa up here I've been grateful.”

“Yes, yes, alright!” Sahut Winsi with a frown always leads his mother to immediately rest in the room. Runa was one of the people who worked hard until Badri finally blindfolded for good. Delivering the corpse to the door seemed enough, considering the condition that was still not recovered properly.

While the state of the house began to be quiet some relatives were mostly to deliver the bodies and some went home to their respective homes.

A week had passed just like that from the time Badri's funeral was carried out. The atmosphere of grief and mourning in the big house still feels so thick because there are still many distant relatives who come and go, visiting only Arkan and his family even though just saying condolences.

Meanwhile, in the yard of the house is no longer installed a large tent, to welcome guests who come. Even so, there are still some mourning flower arrangements from various agencies, companies and also Badri business colleagues who still fill the page.

Meanwhile Winsi was done getting ready to leave because he could no longer delay his departure today. His college activities will begin soon, while he has to do interviews and other preparations.

Of course with a heavy heart he had to leave the big house and his mother even though, Runa was now fine. She had already gotten enough rest after a week and, trying hard to be a good hostess.

Winsi saw this fact that his mother was now much happier. However, he was still worried, because the condition of his pregnant mother was not as strong as before.

She began to read a lot about the current pregnancy and from the many articles read, she understood that her mother's current age includes high-risk pregnancies. Therefore, Runa had to be careful. It takes a lot of support from the surrounding people so that she remains excited and also well until finally giving birth.

Not that he is not dear to his sister who will be born later or not affectionate with his mother but, his desire to realize a dream and also the challenge of Badri is more dominant in the heart. Then, who would have thought if the old man actually left, before he could show what he had done or return the favor.

Actually, right, bring that death ahead without anyone knowing when, where and how he came? The end is the absolute right of God as the creator, which is the greatest secret other than one's future.

“Pardon Wiwin, Ma'am ... Father ... Can't be here any longer what if Wiwin go?”

“Yes just go, you told Navadi that you were going home today right?”

“Already, Yah.”

“Do not hesitate to Mas Adi, consider him my replacement there he will definitely take good care of you, and be careful on the road,” that is all Arkan can say when Winsi say goodbye, the two people hugged for a moment and as usual Arkan patted his head gently.

“Good, Dad. For a while I will stay there before I build my own house.”

“Don't think about building a house, you better finish your college well,” said Arkan advising his son.

Winsi nodded, although in fact he always thought about the house because the purpose of moving was to immediately have a place to live in order to escape from everything and live independently without distressing others until the end of his life later

While Runa was still shedding tears as if she was not willing, if her son left now because she still wanted to spend time with him longer.

Once in the car yard has been prepared by Hasnu, and is ready to become a provincial driver this time.

Winsi immediately entered the car with a flat facial expression, even her body language showed a sense of reluctance. Runa's shadow that was still shedding tears could not escape from his mind.

Along with Winsi getting into the car a taxi stopped right in front of the car driven by Hasnu and will soon walk out of the yard to deliver Provinsi to the airport that morning.

Not long after the taxi stopped the back door was open and Erlan came out with his backpack out of there. The man looked inside through the windshield of the car, to see who he had just seen coming in as the taxi he was driving slowly stopped.

He knew that the car was a vehicle used by family members, for various purposes. Although cars often change, but not with license plates, especially those commonly used by all their cars.

When he saw that the one in the car was Winsi, Erlan raised his hand to knock on the car glass to let the girl out and meet him, but at the same time, what happened was ....

“Street, Sir!” wasi said to give the order, before Erlan did anything else.

“Good, Miss.”
