Don't Be Like This
Winsi parked the motorbike in the garage, as soon as he got home. Then, he immediately went to the back garden to meet the boxing bag and showered him with repeated blows, muttering indistinctly.
Suddenly he remembered a long time ago if Runa had problems with Basri, his mother always babbled and said everything while crying from sadness and anger, but everything the woman did was never successful because her father would scold her back or hit her.
A little boy like himself doesn't know what his parents' problems are, even he doesn't understand what his mother is saying with a spate of words that, ah! I don't know what it means.
“Do I deserve to be hurt? Yes Allah!” he complained while occasionally wiping his tears.
“Why is my test this big? Do I deserve not to have pure love?”
Winsi said while hitting.
“Yes Allah! I am not yet 30 years old, do I have to be polygamous this young?”
“For what? I'm better off on my own! I'm not as strong as Aisyah, or Siti Sarah!” screeches again.
He has taken many lessons. If you get angry and nag at length, it means nothing at all. Therefore, whenever angry, Winsi will vent it on an object that is impossible to retaliate even though as sick as he hits.
‘Allah! Oh God! Have mercy on me, seeing it like it really hurts is my heart!’ Inner Erlan.
Erlan arrived home before the time magrib arrived, she did not find Winsi in their room or in her own room. He deliberately went home sooner, after he waited for his wife at Hanifa's house. The man thought, Winsi will go there to see him out of curiosity or just make sure. However, the long wait for the woman did not appear either.
He had twice back and forth between the office and the house of his first wife because on the other hand he could not leave the meeting, on the other side she had to accompany Hanifa because the one standing guard there was a male nurse.
A moment later, he looked at Winsi who had just walked out of the gym room, without even looking at her. The woman was still wearing her clothes this morning and, now, it was soaked in sweat. His gaze was fixed towards his reddened hands, that meant, Winsi had been wearing boxing gloves for too long.
Erlan followed Winsi who walked to her own room, while Runa only looked at her two children with concern and sadness. They had just gotten married, but, the test that came was like a test for couples who had been building households for a dozen years.
Winsi was about to close the door of the room when Erlan held her back, for a moment she looked at her husband who showed a face full of pleading until she let him in.
Erlan closed the door and hugged Winsi from behind, thinking giving him chocolate, would melt, but in fact it was not as easy as imagined. She's a different woman who needs a bigger fight to get her.
“How are you, Darling?” erlan asked, and Winsi did not answer but did not refuse.
“You've eaten the chocolate?”
Winsi nodded, she ate one fruit, just now.
“What does that mean you're sorry I?”
Silence, Winsi long enough to not give him an answer.
“Do you want to hear my story?”
“Let's go!” Winsi said as she let go of Erlan's hand that was coiled around her stomach.
“I know I was wrong! I'm sorry!” he said, clenching his hands together in front of his chest.
“What's your fault?” tanya Winsi flat.
“Actually I was married to Hanifa before marrying you.”
‘I've expected it!’ inward Winsi, in silence.
“Hmm ...” Winsi muttered as she turned her gaze away with a smirk on her lips, as if mocking herself.
‘Sit's just that he won't throw a party for fear of being caught by the Hanifa family apparently!’ inward Winsi again.
“I'm sorry, if you already know .. I beg you.”
“Awas!” Winsi did not respond, she wanted to go to the bathroom but Erlan got in the way until she pushed her husband's body to the side.
Erlan was silent, he remained there waiting until his wife was done.
Winsi knew that he could not silence a Muslim for more than three days because the religion forbids to break the rope. She was silent not because she was hostile to her own husband, but it was better for her to be like that than talkative, she was not the type of chatty and irritable woman because she had been used to harboring all grief since childhood.
After finishing the bath, the girl came out with wet hair and a body that was only covered in a sheet of light blue bathrobe. He had stopped his steps when he saw Erlan still standing in the same position.
However, let alone appear pity, which there is precisely the indifferent attitude that Winsi used to show first when they were teenagers. Erlan was almost frustrated.
‘Is it true that there is not the slightest bit of love in him for me? But, he once said that he loves me too, right?’ inner Erlan.
Erlan stepped closer to Winsi who was standing in front of the dressing table while drying her hair. The man's hand stretched out to turn over, and grabbed the woman's shoulder into his arms.
“Don't like this ..” Erlan said after Winsi's body stuck to her.
Wilinsi.
“Win, please do not shut up.. let's say if you really hate me, you want to be angry with me, you better just say ...!” he said in a hoarse voice and his head was close to the ear of the girl who remained unmoved.
“If you want to curse or curse, just say, the important thing is not to be silent like this, do not just shut up.. forgive me, yes?” the man said while holding back all the flavors in his mind, while in the fertilizer had already flooded a drop of tears.
“Hmm ..” said Winsi half muttered.
Erlan loosened her embrace, then, she saw the face of Winsi who was still as flat as before.
“Really?”
