The Future Money

Winsi said he wanted to study in Yogyakarta, the birthplace of his mother and wanted to achieve his goals there. He assumed that being in a distant place for a while with Erlan and, all things related to the past, felt more relieving.

So, if Arkan had said that if he had the money to rent the building for the wedding of Winsi, he would, the girl felt better that the money would be used to finance college and run her business in her destination city.

“If about the money for your college, I already have the preparation of our old savings at that time.” Runa said while glancing at Arkan at a glance.

“Wah, the real one, Bu?”

“Yes. Why did Mom lie to you?”

Hearing Runa's words, Winsi smiled cheerfully, she felt no need to trouble her adoptive father for having his own money, from the savings he had accumulated with his mother in the past.

After the whole series of student handover events from the pesantren to the parents ended, the small family left school, feeling happy.

As the car driven by Hasnu drove slowly, once again Winsi looked for the last time towards the school that had forged her into a grown girl, by bringing with you all the wonderful memories.

Now Winsi has to go home, bringing many memories of grief there until Winsi, the little teenager grows up to be a woman, who has a different personality than before. He is better equipped to face life with all the dark past he has ever experienced.

So many hours on the way home that far enough, they spent talking about many things, while enjoying some snacks that Runa brought. However, the passengers fell asleep at the end of the day until they arrived at the mansion.

Arriving at home, Winsi continued her sleep in the room she used to occupy after bringing all her belongings inside. He woke up when there was a noise in the doorway to make him open his eyes, but still sleepy. The girl was still used to sleeping with the door open.

When in pesantren, the trauma is not so pronounced because the space he occupies is very wide and also a lot of rows of beds so that the atmosphere is not too stressful for him.

Winsi saw his parents talking on the phone with someone. Surprisingly, they were seen pointing the phone's camera at him.

For a moment Winsi furrowed her brows and got up, then looked at Arkan's mobile phone to see who his parents were talking to.

“Aatagfirullah!” pekik Winsi was so aware that the two adults were talking to Erlan.

Winsi was actually a little upset, but he could understand the behavior of both parents who criticized him. Fortunately, at that time, Winsi was still wearing complete clothes so that he was not too embarrassed.

“Daddy, tell Winsi to activate her phone when she gets home.” Erlan's voice came from behind her father's cell phone.

“I don't want to!” winsi said quite loudly, while cleaning the contents of her wardrobe.

Soon the magrib arrived, so he had to clean up and return to worship. He ignored them, choosing to go to the bathroom and clean himself up, besides he intended to avoid Erlan's phone.

Winsi had only met Saina a few times, but, their meeting was very memorable, of course with an unpleasant impression. Isn't this a dilemma, if most people are easier to remember things that tend to be painful than fun?

At dinner, after Maghrib prayers, the girl met all the different family members at one table, including Badri who looked weaker than before. There wasn't much they talked about there, other than saying the news and again the chat about Erlan.

“Dad ... are Dad and Grandpa so proud of Erlan? I can be like him too!” winsi said solemnly, making Arkan and Runa smile.

The girl was not her descendant but she had a strong determination to make the family proud of her other achievements. Yes, because for Provinsi his family is the people who exist today.

Badri said as he put down the spoon, showing he was done eating, “Don't say much just , prove it from now!”

“Good, Grandpa can see it. I'll go tomorrow!”

“What, tomorrow? Where are you going, Win? You just got home. I'm still missing!”

“Leave, only!” Badri interrupted while staring at Winsi sharply. The old man was about to test the earnestness of the girl he valued weakly. “I wish I was alive, to see your son was successful or destroyed!”

“Dad!” the words Runa and Arkan together.

“Why are you panicking? Just let him prove his point, then, see how it goes!”

Hearing Badri's words, Winsi closed her eyes while clenching both hands that were still holding a spoon. He understood that Grandpa was trying to test his determination. He really felt challenged by Badri's words. Moreover, he knew that the old man actually did not hate himself and his mother. Evidently when Runa told me that Badri gave all the jewelry belonging to his late wife.

He realized that he had never received guidance about business or business as Erlan did.

However, he already feels he has a lot of experience, such as selling with his mother, hot on the side of the road waiting until the sale runs out, facing various kinds of people when in junior high school, he said, then get a lot of forging from all the guidance teachers in the pesantren. Not to mention other bad experiences. Isn't that a valuable experience and a great personality exercise?

“Mother, then give me all our savings, I will leave tomorrow after dawn prayers!”

“Win ... I want you to wait until your sister is born, son?”

Runa did not expect that this daughter would become so stubborn. She felt that she had raised Winsi lovingly because she did not get the affection of a father, and then, she had been a submissive and meek child all along. However, what he saw tonight was different, he saw the personality of his son who was much stronger than himself.

Winsi who had risen to his feet, looking at his mother's stomach which still looked flat, he thought it would take a long time until the baby sister he was waiting for his presence was born into the world.

“Mother, Erlan also left before seeing her sister born, right?”
