Between Two Women

Basri looked at Runa in annoyance, he took a deep breath and patted his wife's shoulder, in order to calm down. That attitude calmed down Runa a little as well as herself. He was almost angry when he woke up and was sleeping well. However, when he found out that there was Nira in the living room, immediately disappeared already his drowsiness and anger.

Seeing and finding Nira, like having a brother, moreover the girl was good at pleasing the heart by praising and acting spoiled. Runa had hardly done that to her since the death of their second child. He felt that the woman who became his partner was sweet and did the duties of a wife well, but never again was spoiled, let alone praised like Nira.

“You rest easy, I'll buy a new bed for your son.” Basri said after finishing a pat on his wife's shoulder. He was kind to everyone because he did not want to be considered a bad man. His promise to Nira as a brother is to always look after and help the girl fulfill what is needed.

“Then let the Winsi stuff here, the back room is small, it is not enough to keep the study table.” Runa said as he grabbed the hand of Winsi, who had just been silent then, took the child out. He again said, “Come! We clean the back room.”

Arriving there, Runa leaned over and swept her child's face tightly, grabbed her shoulder, while saying slowly, “remember .. You only sleep here if there is your Father at home, if not, you can sleep with your mother. You understand, right?”

“Ya,” replied Winsi while nodding quickly. He understood without having to be explained.

It's okay for Winsi, to keep a secret where she sleeps if her father is not around, even, being in the barn alone is okay because he is not a timid child. There was nothing more terrifying to him than the blow from Basri's belt on his body. To keep something secret, or some things he did with his mother when he wasn't around, was easy.

Cleaning up the warehouse, from starting to throw away useless items, tidying up then, cleaning the rest, it takes a long time. They managed to finish it off, after it was already late at night. Both of them were tired even Runa did not have time to prepare dinner.

“Bu, I'm hungry.” Winsi said as she rubbed the sweat on her forehead. He hasn't had a bath since he came home, it's late at night, it feels too tired just to clean up.

“Come! We bkikin noodles only.” Runa replied as she stepped out and smiled satisfiedly at the result of her work, juggling the warehouse into a decent nursery.

“Where's Father, Mom,?”

They went out of the room looking to the right and to the left checking for Nira and Basri. But the two creatures were not around. However, both Runa and Winsi did not care, where his father and adopted sister went.

“Leave it where your father went, they didn't say right? So where might I know ...”

Runa was still upset and remembered how jealous he had been, when he saw Basri immediately smiling cheerfully, meeting Nira who was sitting on the living room sofa, waiting for him. The face that was originally pouting, changed to a cringe, even hugging the Girl before his eyes without hesitation.

For a moment, she caught a thin grin at the corner of the girl's lips in the arms of her husband. He knew, Nira's grin meant to show victory over him.

Seeing that, Runa inflamed with a loud voice, showing who was the most entitled to her husband. He told me the truth, that, even though, they were already sisters and foster brothers, still mery was not a mahram. Where can they hug each other carelessly because it is very embarrassing.

However, as hard as Runa rejected her husband's relationship and good intentions to Nira, Basri did not criticize her. The man still acted like a pair of lovers to his foster sister and did not feel the slightest guilt. He considers everything they do to be a reasonableness. Akh .. That's right!

Runa's heart was like being pounded with an iron impact and almost flat on the bones in his body. All because he heard Basri's statement and ability to bear Nira's life, let him stay at home and convince the girl to graduate, until she managed to get a college degree.

“Dahlah ... You just obey what your husband says, Run!” replied Basri while standing up carrying Nira to the Winsi room.

“But, Sir?” Runa said while trying to hold back their steps.

“Don't worry, I won't cut your spending by three hundred thousand a week!” basri Tukas.

While Nira held back laughter hearing the statement of the man beside her about how much spending money was given to Runa—his wife.

“Pak, if the cost of eating three is the same, where is enough money, not to mention for electricity and water?” Runa again expressed his objection.

“You think I don't know what, you have money from your trade? You should not be stingy to help your husband make a living, right the money also to meet your own needs?” Basri denied that he could not be defeated.

He was at a crossroads between two women. His wife was on one street and Nira was on the other. She could not let go of Runa who was very beneficial to her, but she also liked Nira's tenderness and indulgence which made her so happy.

But he could not marry Nira, other than because he was not yet an adult, he really sincerely loved her as a sister and wanted to be a big brother who managed to realize his ideals.

‘Oh. So, all this time he knew, but knew where?’ was coming from inner Runa.

“Indeed, if the husband is unable to earn a living, the wife should not sue, but, this is not the way. If the husband is not able to meet the needs of the household, yes the husband must also help his wife's work, it should not be arbitrary!”

:Especially, have to take care of another woman who has no relationship at all with his wife!’ runa's mind, while her face grumbled.

‘Still mending that this woman is good and has a tattoo, but, this woman has no ethics!’ inner again.

After finishing dinner, Winsi grabbed her mother's hand, asking to accompany her for a while before she could actually fall asleep. The atmosphere is still new, and the girl needs to adjust, after all this is a chance to indulge again. Getting Runa's hand caress was like a medicine that healed her heart and physical wounds.

“Bu, I met Erlan again, he wanted to take me to school at the expensive Bunga Bangsa Middle School. Who do you think we are?”

Runa was stunned for a moment, then, asked, “Terus, what did you say?”
