Temporary Shelter House

Erlan stopped her movement of stuffing the suitcase into her car, then, she stood straight in front of Reni while putting both her hands in her pants pocket.

“Sorry Bude I just realized that my wife's words turned out to be true, that in religion, we have to leave all the affairs in the hands of the expert.” Erlan said after taking a deep breath.

“Kan, I told you that my father is not crazy, he just needs your attention, and you as a husband must be patient with your wife because you are alone, right, who took that trust on purpose?” shout Reni.

“Yes, I know .. I understand my responsibility, but, as for the matter of curing Hanifa, I really am not an expert! If I continue to force myself .. it is the same that I wronged my wife on Hanifa, and on my own!”

Erlen took a deep breath and then again said in a softer voice.

“Bude ... I'm just a human being, I can't take care of a Hanifa like this, I'm really tired! If I had to constantly think of Hanifa as a child, I couldn't! Because I'm her husband!” I'm not the Papa!”

“You just thought of a napkin!”

“Yes, maybe Bude is right I just think of napsu, but, I am just a normal ordinary man has a napu. If I don't direct my passions properly ... Just like I wronged myself, Bude also did not want my sins, right?”

“This is you, Erlan!”

“Yes, it's up to Bude to judge what I look like because basically the one who bears all the affairs of Hanifah is me, not Bude!”

“But, Lan, I don't want to put me on the stamp to be crazy!”

“Now many have said that Hanifa is crazy. So, it's up to us to keep him like this or to treat him! And if Bude doesn't allow me to treat Hanifa in the right place, it's the same Bude wronged Hanifah on me too!”

Reni finally fell silent and let Erlan put Hanifah in her car. He was helpless when the car finally left his sister's house, even with the nurse who had been taking care of Hanifah every day.

Arriving at a pretty nice building and very large, Erlan stopped his car. It is known as the oldest and largest mental hospital in Indonesia.

Erlan took Hanifah to the usual place to register and make observations and consultations, before she went to her room to run therapy.  The man had already contacted someone who would be in charge of his wife during the treatment.

After a while of talking, Hanifa was brought inside while Erlan released her with a deep conviction and resignation.

Just then Hanifa rebelled and ran back towards Erlan while crying and shouting.

“Papa! Hani doesn't want to be here, Papa! Don't stay here Hani! Don't wanna! Don't want!” she said as she tearfully and kept breaking away from the check she was a big tall woman.

“Hani, fine here, yes, later Papa come again to pick you up!” sahut Erlan with a heavy voice.

“I leave you here to those who know better, I also leave you to Allah the Almighty, I'm just sure there must be a way out, because God exists, he said,” Erlan muttered as she turned and walked down, then approached her car again, before finally leaving Hanifa, who was still being persuaded by the two nurses to enter her own room.

When Erlan had just stepped on the gas pedal, her phone rang and she lifted the flat object to attach it to her ear. Fadli had already called him.

“Pak! Did Mr Erlan allow me to see Hanifa at the hospital at any time?”

For a moment Erlan felt doubtful and astonished, she furrowed her brows without turning her eyes to the streets, the nurse might have already returned to duty in her original place. The two nurses just helped him get to the observation point, then left the place first.

“Can only!” erlan said without thinking long.

“If Mr. Erlan is busy and wants to know the state of Hanifa, just say the same to me, later I will see Hanifah for father!”

“Oh, so? Just look at it later!”

“Thank you, Sir!” Already let me see Hanifa!”

“Ya!”

After getting permission from Erlan the nurse thanked him and ended the call.

If Erlan, or anyone who wanted to see Hanifa, could not meet in person for at least two months. The doctor there said so. One month is a period of adaptation and exploration, entering the second month, starting therapy and also recovery.

Perhaps longer would be better, but, those psychiatric medics, would see Hanifa's development whether or not it showed kindness. If it takes extra time because it has not shown progress in a better direction, then, maybe Hanifah will be treated there longer.

Erlan might only be able to see Hanifa from afar or the gate or from behind the large glass, which is usually reserved for family members, seeing those who are cared for there.

After Erlan drove his car quite far from the place, little by little his feelings became airy and it was as if his burden was reduced. Although, the guilt has not completely disappeared, but, his resignation has given his wife into the hands of the right person and, also to God as its creator, makes his mind become calm.

Erlan drives her car to the office, focusing on finishing all her business late into the night. The thing he used to do at the end of the month in an Amsterdam restaurant, now he does there.

He will examine the financial books and analyze it himself, whether the bookkeeping compiled by his employees is correct or not. Indeed, sometimes he and Arkan would work together, but, now he had to work on it himself.

The young man continued to check until late at night, he only stopped when Runa called, whereas he had not had dinner.

“Erlan! When will Wiwin go home?” Runa asked after Erlan said his regards.

“Sorry, Mom. I also don't know.” Soft Erlan's voice.

“Why, don't you know? Did you not ask?”

“I asked, Mom! But, Wiwin said it depends on the condition.”

“What conditions, anyway? Time you don't know either? Exorbitant! It's all because he doesn't believe me anymore, just like you, Lan! He feels betrayed, you know?”
