What Do You Believe
Hasnu who heard the order glanced at Erlan and the teenager nodded, she knew she could not persuade Winsi much less force her to stay with them in the mansion. There's a real reluctance to go back there and all because of Saina.
Seeing the behavior of Winsi and after hearing all the reasons left the Arkan house, made Runa speechless. He agreed to the girl's wishes because, after all, he was his flesh and blood and he was still able to pay for his school.
Erlan finished her iced tea drink, then pulled out a wallet to pay, and then Wansi sat in front of her while propping up her chin. He looked at Erlan fixedly with a plain face as usual.
“Where is my ice, yummy?” Winsi asked while raising her eyebrows while her lips smiled like a grin.
“Hmm ..” Erlan pretended to think while turning her eyes away from the little girl, then, replied, “Lumayan!”
Hearing Erlan's comments, Winsi throbbed, then, said, “Ya, Already. Iced tea is free. No need to pay!” Winsi said while grumbling and passed away.
‘Indeed, what's my fault, anyway? How come he is so, strange’ Inner Erlan. He kept fifty grand at the front desk of the shop.
Erlan stood up, glancing in the direction where Winsi had disappeared, then said goodbye to Runa who was sitting in the stall while cleaning her wares.
“Erlan,” said Runa after standing face to face with Erlan, while Hasnu patiently and faithfully waited not far from the two people.
“Yes, Aunt.” Erlan answered Runa's call gently, for some reason she would prefer her father to pair with Runa instead of Saina.
The woman was meek and polite and she was very understanding of religious norms, when she was in her home, The woman did not tire of advising and told some heroic stories of the prophets that Erlan had never heard. She looks more like a real mother than Saina who is too flirtatious in her opinion.
“Tante apologizes on behalf of Winsi, it looks like he is annoyed with your father's relatives. It doesn't matter if he's here, if later he wants to go to school, Auntie send word, so you can pick him up to go to school, how?”
Hearing Runa's words, Erlan smiled widely, she agreed with the decision because she could still go home and go with him. So, it doesn't matter as long as he can still keep the little fairy of the badger that used to be when it was the Kindergarten, he thought it was funny.
“Good, Aunt. I'm waiting for news, hopefully he will go to school again tomorrow.”
‘Does Aunt know that her son has a gang at school?’ inner Erlan as she passed towards her car followed Hasnu after the man looked down respectfully at Runa.
In the evening, when Runa had just finished closing the stall and cleaning up, Arkan came to visit. They sat face-to-face in the next room which was purposely emptied to receive guests and store some wooden chairs.
“This is for Winsi.” Arkan said while giving a box containing a new cell phone, he kept the box on the table that separated him and Runa.
“What is this, Sir?”
“It's hp, and don't call me Sir.”
“Why, you are already fathers,” said Runa while smiling thinly. He looked between Arkan and the cell phone box in turn.
“Now it's just the two of us. So, do not just call the name ... have you indeed forgotten the same friendship we used to?”
“Make what inget keep the same past, not tasty. Moreover, everyone has a past.”
“You must know, right why Wiwin came home?”
“Yes. I know, it's not if he just go home, this is his house, his belongings have also been brought by Mr. Hasnu earlier.”
“I'm sorry for Winsi on behalf of Saina.”
“Oh, so her name is Saina, she's your future wife?”
“Not. Just an ordinary friend, but my father who wants to match her with me.”
“Oh. Yes, already ... I just pray your marriage is smooth .. said Wiwin, she is a beautiful woman.”
Arkan was silent, he saw Runa clingy, while the woman who was seen was indifferent while looking and unpacking the contents of the box. The man felt that he was more comfortable when he was close to Runa. However, he had not thought of marrying again. He prefers to concern himself with working and taking care of companies engaged in hospitality and housing.
“Ar, thank you yes, this is how much is it?”
“It's free,”
“ Time?”
“ Make Winsi, free, she has no father now ... So let me be his father, as a parent, it's only natural that I give him what he doesn't have, let alone hp, so it's easy if I want to find him.” Erlan said softly and solemnly.
Without her knowing, Winsi heard everything she said tearfully, from a room not far from there.
“Didn't he want to see me?”
“Actually, the room she is here,” said Runa as she pointed at the wall behind her. “Yes, he must be out if he really wants to see you.”
Arkan kept quiet again, knowing that maybe Winsi was disappointed in him who had told Saina the truth about him so that she could be as heartbreaking as insult. Had Arkan lied to Saina, she would have acted differently. But the man could not cover up the real thing to Saina about Winsi.
“Runa ... Have you divorced from Basri? You guys never see each other again, do you?”
“I've been divorced religiously, but she doesn't want to take care of her divorce papers if she comes back here sometimes and invites me to refer, but she still doesn't trust me completely about Winsi, so I refused.”
“So, if he wants to admit Provinsi, you want to go back to that guy?”
“Yes, why not, he is good and the father of my son.”
“Do you still love her?”
Instantly Runa fell silent she pensively thought about the direction Arkan was talking in. He looked at the man and smiled.
“I love him or not I don't think you need to know.”
“Hmm ... Now, if I say I haven't completely forgotten you and still love you, do you believe?”
Runa fell silent again, for a moment only the sound of wind and crickets were heard. The woman did not believe what she had just heard. Then, he shook his head.
“What do you mean say that. At our age, it is not the time to make the word love as a joke or entertainment. We've both been married, Arkan. So, you should not indulge in the word love.”
“I don't mean anything, I'm just saying about my feelings. I'm not kidding, Runa!”
“Arkan, I am very grateful and grateful for all your help and kindness, I will not ask for more. In addition to this now, we are enough to be a burden on your life. Thank you.”
“Who thinks you are a burden? I'm not naive, Runa!”
The two different types of humans are both mature and mature in determining each other's lives so it is not easy to be affected, let alone have never felt marriage and stopped in the middle of the road, getting back into a relationship is not easy.
“Despite not taking us as a burden, I am still grateful and I admit I cannot repay all your kindness. Sorry ..”
“You are not wrong, no need to apologize.”
That was all Arkan said before he finally decided to go home.

Erlan invites Winsi home after school, that afternoon on the grounds Ismi, her favorite pet monkey, is sick. Of course the girl was reluctant because she had no ties whatsoever to the beast. Indeed, he was a little homesick after more than a month he did not return to the house.
“Kan, he's sick,” Erlan told Winsi after being near a monkey cage that appeared to curl up with a slightly falling feather.
“Indeed why, can it hurt, you do not feed anyway?”
“He misses you!”
Hearing Erlan's words, maybe if it was someone else, it would laugh, but Provinsi, no. He just throttled while looking away. It was strange how the beast could miss him, almost never.
Winsi ignored Erlan and her pet monkey, she chose to go to the kitchen to find Bi Neni, she missed the woman, then it was natural ....
Her head was crazily looking for the middle-aged woman who spent her day in that place but, she did not find it, instead what she saw was Saina who was making something. The woman looked suspicious.
