Winsi

Winsi turned his head and saw Meri who was walking towards him, smiling kindly and approaching her childhood friend.

“Where do you want to continue school?” Asked Meri while muttering Winsi's hand. It's a strange and sudden attitude, because all this time they're not close. If you meet, you do not greet each other and just smile. Sometimes Winsi greets first, but Meri only answers with a smile or says as necessary.

As a friend of Winsi keep his manners and he also wants Meri to stay close to him but the girl's association that causes him to change so as not to consider Winsi not as his friend anymore.

Actually, it does not matter Meri's indifference, for Winsi, as long as they are not hostile, do not fight or fight violence as before. Still clear in their memories when they last talked to each other, is when they fought to defend their respective friends.

And Meri's attitude this time completely changed, she invited Winsi to go alone and leave the other friends, they went to the cafeteria to eat together then spoke after sitting opposite each other.

“You really want to join your fat friend what is his name?”

“Nia? Yes, we want to go to pesantren.”

“Iya, that's it, want such a school will not have to stay in the dorm, whether you are strong, will be away from parents continue, you can not go home for a semester?”

“What's the problem if the school in the dormitory anyway I'm used to no Father at home.”

“Iya, I know, but, how is your mother?”

“My mom will see me at school. Oh yeah, you didn't see Dad's house last time how?”

“The house is quiet, I have never seen anyone there.” Meri said while shrugging her shoulders.

“Times, there may be occasional truck car Mr, means he's home?”

“Never seen.”

“Oh ..” They were silent for a moment, then, Winsi again said, “ you are not angry anymore, right, same me?” asked Winsi while raising his eyebrows expecting earnestness from Meri.

“Sorry, I was forced, because my friends are like that, but now, you want to split us up, so it doesn't matter I talk to you.”

“You want to split SMA? I guess you guys still want to continue here.”

“No, we won't be here anymore. Uh, Win, you know where Erlan went to college?”

“In the UK or in Amsterdam, he said. Why, do you want to go there?”

“Oh, no, lah .. I think even you who want to come,” said Meri misbehaved.

“Ih, why go all the way there, good schools in our country are also many! But, if I wanted to come, Erlan's same dad would be happy.”

“Erlan's father, he I consider my father too, so Erlan used to say I was his sister, because Dad said I was considered his son.”

“Oh, so it turns out you guys have been close just because Erlan thinks you're a sister?”

“Ya.”

Meri nodded, feeling regret for three years almost letting the hatred, self-control because of the misunderstanding of Provinsi that she thought liked Erlan. He was a little curious from the past, but, because he had done bad things to his best friend, he was confused.

Meri also knew that when Erlan was in High School, rumored to be close to Hanifa, a beautiful and famous hijab girl active as a spiritual leader in school. Winsi lost far more beautiful compared to the girl. He also thought where might Erlan think of Winsi as a lover? Moreover, the principle so far that will not be dating while still in school. Regret is useless.

Meri also asked about this rumor, that the basketball champion was close to the head of the school's Islamic Spiritual activities or often abbreviated as Rohis but, Winsi actually did not know about them. Yes, Erlan and Hanifa are often seen together and that also makes Meri jealous but, she can't do anything about it.

The two friends finally returned after their graduation. Since then, the two women who are now starting to change and become more mature teenagers often go anywhere together even though, now the distance of the two houses is very far, he said, but it is not a hindrance to go for a walk.

Like today, while they were enjoying ice cream in a city park, they accidentally saw clearly the interaction that took place between Erlan and Hanifa. The two teenagers who are now growing up are seen chatting together in front of a bookstore, carrying their respective reading books.

Winsi and Meri could not hear what they were talking about at this distance. They were in the park, while Erlan and Hanifa were across the street. The two teenage girls only guessed what was going on between the lovers, joking and enjoying their ice cream.

They guess if, at that time Hanifa and Erlan were spending time together before Erlan's departure to the other country studying in the land of people. The teenage man chose to continue his school there because there happened to be his grandfather's business that had advanced in the two countries and it was also what his father did first so that he would follow in his footsteps.

In the evening, Erlan and Arkan come to visit, giving Winsi a graduation gift, in the form of all complete school equipment, some casual clothes and a large suitcase that is sweet for Winsi to use when going to his boarding school. The two men knew of Winsi's wishes after receiving news from Runa through a short message.

Arkan and Runa still send messages often but, the woman is still as she used to be, take care of herself and reply to messages only as necessary. She remained adamant that her stance would not be married for the second time even though the talaq had been dropped by her husband.

Arkan has expressed his love that was delayed because he had to go abroad and, when he returned he had found the house of Runa's parents who had been flat on the ground.

She offered Runa to be a mother to Erlan a few months ago, but the woman did not respond, arguing she was still legally Basri's wife. Arkan promised to take care of it, even though Runa's ex-wife was reluctant to sign her divorce papers in court. Runa refused it.

“You really, Win, want to go to school in pesantren?” erlan asked as they were already sitting together between father and mother. Now they are all dudduk in the wooden chairs of the living room of the narrow rental house of Runa.

“Ya.” Runa answered steadily. He wanted to stay away from everything he had been through, wanting new experiences as well as better science.

“Because you want to go to the hostel, that's why Erlan wants to go abroad. If you went to school here, maybe Erlan attended college here too.” Arkan nodded while folding both of his hands in front of his chest.

“Dad ...” says Erlan.

“Eh, why?” ask Winsi .
