Suddenly

Suddenly
The Last Thing Left's

“Ren!” I shouted from a distance.

My footsteps were so fast as I saw it. My sweat splashed despite the cool air was piercing the surface of the skin.

A series of words had been recorded in my mind but I did not know what would come out of my mouth.

“Ren!” my footsteps stopped right not far from Ren who was looking at me with his gaze that seemed to still doubt.

That guy was too obvious with the earphones he was wearing. Just an earphone and a hideout.

“No need to take it off because you must have heard,” I said.

Ren did not take off his earphones.

“Ren..”

“I just want you to hear it.”

“You need not try to end the feelings you have and do not need to stay away just because you want to forget. You are the same as me and everyone else.who deserves to have an unbearable feeling even though not as expected.”.

“I'm not giving you hope but controlling the feelings you have. Isn't the fact that in the life that is with you it will get you closer..if you are avoiding something like you did to me?”

“That's what I want to say..the feeling I have, Ren.”.

Sky stepped back.

“Bye, Ren!” smiling and returning with quick footsteps.

My footsteps did not ask me to turn around to see his whereabouts. If turned is the same as giving hope to him because it will be a phrase called time.

His footsteps had given him direction without hesitation.

Although it was not today, it had at least been seethed in his mind like the footsteps he had.

“You came alone?” someone said as Jeff's replacement.

“Ya.”

“He came shortly after you came,” he said.

“Ah, yes.”

“You don't..”

“I'm fine,” cut me.

“Enjoy your time as always,” he said.

Sky nodded and smiled at Nell. He sat facing the beach. The sun will soon come down, the crowds waiting for those moments.

The scene he saw would remain the same in his eyes despite having seen it repeatedly. It won't change and it's always beautiful though it will also pass.

Just like the sight of someone who has filled the heart, there are times when saturation is sure to come but not someone who actually makes you saturated.

But…

It is you yourself who has changed.

“Do you understand what I mean?” Sky spoke in a voice that almost no one could hear even though it was still in the same place.

Sky down the line of books that have been arranged neatly. Although there is a change in the order, it does not change the atmosphere and all the memories that are still stored.

“What do you think?” Nell patted my left shoulder.

The owner of the bookstore changed hands and did not know of his whereabouts. “You know how it is?” my many.

Nell shook her head. “Actually..that's what Mr. Isyo wants.”.

“I think Mr. Isyo has been planning it for a long time,” Nell continued his remarks.

“Iya, apparently. I haven't even met him.”

“I guess because of Jeff,” Nell always says like that. All disappointed with Jeff but that does not mean no longer care about him.

Jeff's coworkers including Mr. Isyo also took turns to visit Jeff but they forbade me to meet him.

“I will visit him tomorrow,” my spontaneous words make the look of Nell's face change.

“You do not remember the message Mr Isyo?” Nell repeatedly said that too.

“It's time to get out of my hiding place,” I replied.

“You're not going alone, are you?”

“You want to accompany me, Nell?”

“No need to ask me I will accompany you but unfortunately tomorrow I can not.”

“I will..”

“No, Sky! You can't meet him alone.”

“Come, Nell!”

“No!”

“Except you together.”.

“No..”

“She doesn't look okay either. Even storytelling..”

“That's the choice, Nell.”

“Hahaha, why should I trust you?”

“Hei! Although I'm not as long as the others, but I feel the same.”

“Ah, really? But..you know what I mean, right?”

“Yes, you can definitely get through it. Isn't there enough you've been through?”

“Nell, thank you.”

“Hey, I didn't try to comfort you but did tell you the truth.”

Sky smiled. “Iya, I know.”

“Go home and get enough sleep!”

Sky nodded and said, “Alright, I'm home. Bye, Nell!”

“And remember you can't go alone to meet him, got it?”

“Wah, you want to replace Ken?”

“Sky, I'm serious.”

“Iya—ya, alright.”

My footsteps were heavy to walk home.

Still want to step in to go somewhere without having to look at the door next door.

Really don't want to go home.

Actually.he didn't completely move. There were still some things in his old apartment.

He thought of it for only a few moments and without hesitation his footsteps stepped.

Just last night.

But…

That has become a complete nonsense.

3 Days passed and I was still in the old apartment.

Like Nell said, I didn't see Jeff after pulling back on my memory.

It made me doubt more and think more of a no-no.

Maybe next time but I don't know for sure.

I also thought about Jeff's reaction when he met me even long ago that doubt had given me a warning.

But I still tried to dodge him just because I wanted to hear Jeff speak before me.

Will I see another side of Jeff I've never seen before?

Besides of…

I don't want to be a nightmare that could be jubilant in my mind.

Or suddenly wake up and can't go back to sleep.

Sky walked straight just staring at the door. He did not care about anything other than just opening the door and entering.

Anxiety that suddenly appeared always accompanied him every step of the foot that stepped and approached the door.

Twisting every moment that ever existed, it was inevitable.

The empty space that is on it remains the same does not get wider or even narrow.

His feelings remain with the same person.

Although life does not always side with him and sometimes also make him tired, sometimes also unfair.

I miss him but can't do anything.

What's in the empty space?

I try to avoid my assuming thoughts.

Assumptions that can mess with the mind and make the mind no-no at night.

Carried to the conscious and woke up with a mind that actually makes the mind more not-no.

A time?

The deeper I get, the more I realize that I've been linked to time.

It was quite exhausting and really felt. It was as if all the reasons behind it were time.

“What should I do?”

“So I can come back to you?”

The two eyes that meet are always met in the same place.

Other than just a possible coincidence, what really happened?
