Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 96

Lacey and her family flushed red in shame with Emily's sick burn.

They are nothing less than a puncture in the heart.

They don't believe that their grandfather and Uncle Jeremy will turn against them.

Are they really my family? Bet my enemies will treat me with more compassion than this so-called family.

It would be fatal to his reputation, as a doctor, if rumors that his close people did not believe in his medical skills spread in the city.

How can I still open my clinic with a bad reputation?

Dawn, despite being an outsider, could not help but pick up the mace. "Lacey, your grandfather and uncle have gone too far. They still treat your family like shit after all these years."

"If I were you, I'd definitely cut ties with them."

Lacey sighed in frustration, "It's complicated ..."

Zeke patted Lacey's shoulder to comfort, "Don't worry, Lacey. They'll finally turn to us when they realize they've shot themselves in the foot."

Meanwhile, Daniel's colleague from the hospital has arrived.

Daniel greeted them with a big smile, "Zayne, Louis, you've come first! Thanks for coming!"

His comrades gushed with fake smiles, "Daniel, congratulations! You are now an important person in the health care business."

"It's no different than any other job. We all just work for a living. Please come in" said Daniel humbly.

However, his colleagues seemed confused by his hospitality, "Sorry, Daniel. We still have plans later so we can't stay here."

Daniel was disappointed, "Oh, that's okay..."

Before he even realized it, his comrades had walked towards the Clemons family.

"Mrs Clemons, congratulations!"

"Wow! Mrs. Clemons, the scale of your clinic is bigger than I thought."

"With Madeleine's best medical skills, I'm sure it's only a matter of time for you to expand your clinic and get rid of Heartland Hospital."

Madeleine's smile grew wider, "Haha, you're flattering me. But making a profit wasn't my goal with the clinic, I just fulfilled my duty as a Doctor to save lives."

His colleagues were impressed, "You're an example of the healthcare industry."

Daniel stood still in shame.

Madeleine is ruthless in hunting down her guests in front of her own eyes!

Hannah was not satisfied with Daniel's cruelty. "This is what your friend calls? They just slapped you in the face. No wonder people underestimate you."

Daniel's provoked. "Shut up! At worst, I'll just close the clinic. Not a big deal."

Hannah snapped, "All you do is take it out on your family whenever you're offended by someone else. You're such a coward."

Zeke calmed them down to prevent them from quarreling, "Dad, mother, calm down. They'll kick themselves for what they've done."

The Hinton family sighed in despair.

Will they really come back? It seems more likely that we will be the ones to beg them to set foot in our clinic.

Meanwhile…

A flashy black Audi stopped in front of the clinic and a man in a suit got off the car.

Daniel became bright as soon as he saw the man, "Is that Wilber Watchinski? Head of Drug Administration? Why is he here ..."

Daniel greeted him respectfully, "Sexy head Wilber, your presence brings light to my humble clinic." He subconsciously assumed that Wilber had come to support him.

Wilber nodded away, "I just passed by here so I decided to stop by."

"Head Section, please come in. Lacey, bring the head of the tea section" Daniel said.

"All right! Sexy chief, come in for tea." Lacey complies and takes Wilber to the clinic.

Daniel whispered to Zeke, "So, he's the big cheese you invited. I didn't know you had any connections in the healthcare industry."

Zeke shook his head, "No, I didn't invite him."

He is not worthy of my personal invitation.

Daniel murmured to himself, "Any... I also have no close relationship with him. I wonder why he came and supported me."

"Daniel Hinton! Get in here!" Suddenly, Wilber shouted from inside the clinic; the anger in his voice was very clear.
