Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 80

Jackson said, "I heard Lacey will be joining the tender for Love in a Fallen City project. I need you to steal the bid proposal and replace it with another one. I'll take it from there."

Adam confused. "Mrs. Hamilton, what is the purpose of doing such a thing? To be honest, judging by the scale of the Lacey steel mill, they are not a threat to you in the tender. Moreover, would he change his mind even if he bids proposals were exchanged?"

Smiling indifferently, Jackson leaned into Adam's ears and muttered a few words.

Adam's face turned pale after hearing his words. "Mrs. Hamilton, isn't it too risky to do this? My whole family might be involved if everything goes south."

Jackson assured him, "Don't worry, I'll bear all the risks."

Adam looked for a moment. Finally, he gritted his teeth and said, "Okay, this time I'll do as you say, Mr. Hamilton."

After leaving the Hamilton family, Jeremy immediately called his daughter, Lily.

"Lily, I have a job for you. Work at Lacey's factory."

...

Lacey worked overtime to complete her bid proposal, whereas Zeke, after becoming a 'seller', was given another role by Lacey, who was a quality inspector.

At this moment, Zeke was wandering around the workshop, keeping an eye on the workers.

Just when Lacey's hands were full, Lily walked into her office. "Lacey, are you busy?"

Upon seeing Lily, Lacey felt that something bad was going to happen.

Nothing good comes from Lily every time she comes. There should be no exceptions this time.

He's a little wary. "Well, I'm kind of busy. Why are you suddenly coming, Lily?"

Lily smiled pretendedly. "As a cousin, shouldn't I come visit you?"

Lily then placed the two boxes of 'Six Walnut' she carried onto the table. "Lacey, you should drink more. It's good for the brain."

Lacey put down her work and said, "Thank you. Seriously, Lily, why are you here?"

Lili sighed. "Lacey, I can't find a job right now, so I want to work in your steel mill."

Lily wants to work in my steel factory?

With Lily's high standards, it was impossible for her to be interested in working in such a small steel factory.

Therefore, Lacey's first reaction was that there must be something suspicious going on.

However, he had no idea what motive Lily might have.

Lily kept begging him. "Please help me, Lacey. I was unable to find a job and did nothing at home recently. Every day, my dad urges me to go on a blind date, which is very annoying. I admit that I used to be very mean to you, and I'm sorry about that."

Lacey became soft.

After all, they were family; he could not refuse them.

Moreover, now that the steel mills had increased, he really needed talent.

Finally, he nodded his head. "Um, well, you can start as a clerk, and your standard monthly salary is 4,000 dollars. Go and put together a production report last month, and leave it to me."

Lily nodded her head in excitement. "No problem."

After giving him instructions, Lacey Hinton returned to work on the bid proposal.

It was only at eight o'clock that he finally completed the bid proposal.

After flexing his body, Lacey prepared to send a bid proposal to the Schneider family.

However, Lily suddenly approached him, asking, "Where are you going, Lacey?".

Lacey replied honestly, "I'll send you a proposal of offer to the Schneider family."

Lily said excitedly, "Lacey, let me send it to them. I'll pass the Schneider family when I get home."

Lacey hesitates.

This bid proposal was very important and secretive, so he was very worried about giving it to Lily.
