"Heck, you're a really scary woman" Jackson exclaimed. "I happen to know the supplier. It's gonna be an easy thing.But... Wouldn't the Grand Marshal stop us if we tried to hurt Lacey?"
"You don't have to worry about that" Emily smiled. "You know that my brother is in the army, right? He had just called me and told me that the whole army had learned that Lacey had rejected the Grand Marshal; they were angry. My brother even warned me to stay away from him. Let's see how the Grand Marshal will protect her now."
"Damn! That's why I'm being released!" Jackson breathed. "I'll take care of this soon! Zeke and Lacey, you're both dead!"
Zeke was awakened by a loud noise the next morning.
"Look! Someone just sent ten thousand soldiers to our city!" exclaim Daniel.
"Something big might be coming down soon!" Hana guess. "Why else would anyone deploy such a large army during such peacetime."
Zeke looked at Lacey affectionately. They're here for you.
Lacey's phone suddenly rang. After he answered, his face turned pale.
"Lacy? What's up?" Zeke quickly asked.
"Something happens in the factory!" Lacey replied before she left in a hurry.
Zeke frowned and called out to the richest person in the entire Oakheart City, Evan Schneider.
"Find out what happened to Lacey's factory."
Zeke did not believe that he would be able to use the soldiers this quickly.
As soon as the phone closed, Evan ordered his men to investigate the matter.
Evan Schneider was the richest man in the entire City of Oakheart, one who had influence in every corner of the city.
Evan called Zeke back in just five minutes.
Zeke could not help but laugh.
I don't even have to do anything to get them moving. Good, I will use this opportunity to take down the Hamilton family.
"Stay here and wait for further instructions" Zeke ordered Evan.
Lacey stared at the dozen legal documents before her in the steel factory.
The contents of the document mostly ordered him to pay the supplier or they would take the matter to court.
However, most of the steel mill's capital has been spent on deals with the Schneider family. There was no way they could pay the supplier without much choice left, Lacey could only go and negotiate with the supplier.
The atmosphere in the meeting room was heavy.
All steel factory suppliers have assembled.
Cigarette smoke filled the room, causing Lacey to cough.
"I don't understand. Why would you want to cancel the contract?" ask Lacey.
"Because you've offended someone you shouldn't have done" Darren Collins, a supplier representative, laughed. "That guy forced us to do this. Please understand."
"Attribute someone?" Lacey frowned. "Jackson Hamilton? That must be him. Does that bastard want me dead?"
"Let's go ahead" Darren smiled. "Either you go and beg Mr. Hamilton for forgiveness, or pay us now."
There's no way Lacey would beg Jackson. "Please, give me some time. You must have heard that we just made a deal with the Schneider family. As soon as we complete the contract with them, the production rate of our factory will definitely skyrocket.
