Daniel's interested. "This Divine Doctor is definitely the best of the best in the medical field to be able to cure a stroke patient. But I'm afraid the Clemon family is doing a fake ad."
Zeke was deep in thought. Is there anyone besides me who can cure a stroke patient? If so, I will compare notes with him about our medical skills.
Unbeknownst to the two of them, Zeke Williams is actually the 'Divine Doctor' mentioned by the Clemon family. They arrive home at the same time as Lacey and Dawn. Lacey and Dawn have busied themselves with the Love in a Fallen City project after the completion of the opening ceremony. Hannah had prepared a party for them at home. The whole family enjoys having dinner together while chatting about their daily lives at work. A harmonious atmosphere envelops the family as they enjoy the joyous moments.
"Zeke, are you the one who invited those great people to our opening ceremony today?" ask Lacey after she finishes eating.
Zeke smiled faintly. "What do you think?"
Lacey said with a confused look on her face, "I don't know... That's why I asked you."
Dawn tries to remove the heat from Zeke. "Lacey, the answer is obvious. Evan Schneider came to support our opening ceremony because you are the lead director of the Love in a Fallen City project."
"As for Dylan, Evan had most likely asked him to arrest Adam Hinton for his commercial crimes. He just stopped by to give me the opening gift."
"While Liam George, director of the Bureau of Industry and Commercial, it made sense for him to come and support because his brother-in-law had helped remove his kidney stone."
Lacey seemed to be thinking, "What about Leo Kingston from the Drug Administration? None of us know him personally..."
"Oh... You stupid girl. Liam George was angry when he saw our clinic closed, that's why he called Leo Kingston because he's the director of Drug Administration."
"Zeke, is that true? What did Dawn just say?"
Lacey's eyelashes fluttered as she processed Dawn's words; her charm was irresistible.
"Stop teasing me in front of Dawn."
The dawn covered his ears. "I'm deaf, I don't hear anything. Don't mind me!"
"Haha.. Dawn, you're really great!" Both Daniel and Hannah were amused by Dawn and they laughed out loud. The dawn always brings happiness to the family.
Daniel managed to keep his face straight and said, "Even though this clinic has become famous, we should continue to work well and avoid laziness. Our clinic might be under pressure if Clemons really manages to invite the Divine Physician to heal a stroke patient."
Zeke nodded in agreement, "Mm, the Divine Doctor has tickled my curiosity. I can't wait to meet him."
Lacey asked curiously, "Stroke? Isn't that incurable? Even the Great Marshal was unable to do anything with it, could the Divine Doctor really heal someone who had a stroke?"
Dawn detected the mention of the 'Great Marshal' and said, "Lacey, how do you know the Great Marshal can't do it? Have you tried it before? Is he really impotent?"
His words were filled with meaning. Lacey subconsciously replied, "It's true she can't do it, why should I try ..."
She was speechless when she realized it was a dirty joke, "Oh, you are truly a brash girl! How dare you please me and your sister-in-law! Come here, I'll teach you a lesson!"
Dawn shrieked as Lacey dragged her into the bedroom, "Don't worry, brother-in-law! I'll move in tomorrow and leave you alone in your love nest."
Zeke responded with a resigned shrug; apparently, the Grand Marshal had raised a white flag in the face of their temptation. Impotent?! I am a strong man! Daniel and Hannah don't talk to Zeke for long before going to bed. Zeke was lying on the sofa when he received a message from Dawn. His jaw gaped when he saw the contents.
