Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 67

Lacey's dumbfounded. "What's wrong? You two know each other?"

Dawn replied, "He's the garbage man I just told you about."

Ha!

Lacey smiled. "Brist, didn't someone say he'd kill the garbage man if he saw him again?"

The dawn instantly blushed. "Shut up! I didn't say that!"

Then, he looked at Zeke from top to bottom. "If you have time, Lacey, you should go to the hospital for a medical checkup."

Lacey asked, "Why? I'm not sick."

"To get your eyes and brain checked properly" Dawn replied. "Why would you choose a garbage man as your husband if there was nothing wrong with your eyes and brain?"

Lacey laughed and said, "You mean girl, you haven't changed a bit, have you?"

"Zeke, don't take heart. This girl's always crazy."

Zeke just nodded his head.

He wouldn't bother arguing with this little girl.

Dawn looked at Zeke in annoyance. "Well, you, a garbage man, are totally unfit for Lacey."

"I'm warning you, you better get a decent job and work hard to make money. If you can't pay a decent dowry, I'll never let Lacey marry you."

Zeke.

What's wrong with this woman? Why does he keep cursing?

Not to be outdone, he replied, "Lacey, why didn't you ever mention that you had a younger brother before?"

Lacey laughed out loud.

Dawn clenched her hands furiously. "Bag, who are you calling a man?"

"Why do you keep cursing if you're not a man?" Zeke attacked back. "By the way, you must be a fitness trainer, right? You have well-defined chest muscles."

Angry dawn. "Argh, I'll kill you."

Lacey held onto her stomach while laughing.

It was funny when the two attacked each other. I look forward to more watching from them.

Seeing Dawn about to cry, Lacey changed the subject. "Dawnie, I heard you got a job. How about you buy me a meal?"

Dawn nodded its head. "No problem. Let's eat steak. I heard there's a steak sale today." He added, "Hey, garbage man, I'll take you with us. Don't forget to bring your money."

Dawn and Lacey enter Lavida, while Zeke follows while carrying the sack.

Dawn screeched, "Hey, hey, why are you carrying a sack?"

"Aren't you asking me to bring my money?" answer Zeke.

Dawn was startled for a moment before she laughed out loud. "Don't tell me this sack contains money. Then, he continued, "Damn it, with such a bluff, you can be the king of poker."

Lacey was a little angry at Zeke.

Although very close to Dawn, who would not laugh at her, she still wished her husband could appear more charismatic in front of others.

Zeke's hostility made him feel a little embarrassed.

Before long, the three arrived at the western restaurant

After looking at the menu, Lacey ordered three sets of regular steaks that cost 58 sets each.

Dawn had just started working and did not have much money, so she could only afford this level of consumption.

This is the first time Dawn has treated Lacey to a meal. Therefore, Lacey did not offer to pay the bill in order to preserve Dawn's dignity.

While waiting for the steak, Lacey's phone suddenly rang.

It was a phone call from a steel factory worker, saying that the machine had broken down and production was stopped.

Lacey panicked.

Steel mills are currently racing against time to produce orders for the Schneider family, and any kind of delay cannot be allowed.

Feeling helpless, he had no choice but to say, "I have to go back to the factory first. You two eat first."

Dawn did not want to be left alone with Zeke, as she was worried that Zeke would humiliate her, so she hurriedly replied, "Lacey, I'll go with you."

Lacey said, "We ordered a steak. If you don't eat it, it will be worth it. You have to stay here."
