"Emily, you are the fifth person to come after us, offering to buy that piece of land."

"The piece of land is nothing but an empty piece of land. What the hell's going on? Why did everyone come after that piece of land today?"

Emily replied, "Oh! It's nothing!"

"I'm sure you know that my mother has been discharged by Daniel from the hospital. He had nothing to do lately and wanted to buy that piece of land to start his own farm."

Adam hesitated and said to her, "Huh! You're late! We've sold the land to someone else!"

Emily's disappointed, "Oh. Who do you sell it to? How much land is being sold?"

Adam told him, "We sold it to Lacey for a million."

"What?" Emily suddenly became angry. "You sold it to Lacey for a million? You idiot! A bunch of fools!"

Adam was upset when he heard Emily's words. "Emily, who exactly do you mean?".

"A ten-acre plot in exchange for a million! That's nice!"

"Deal? You don't know how you were framed by them!" Emily scolded Adam.

"I'll tell you what happened. The Schneider family has another big project that involves a piece of land of yours. It's a ten billion project!"

"That piece of land will cost at least five million until now."

"Haha! Aren't you stupid to get rid of him for a million?"

Adam could barely breathe when he heard what Emily said.

Five million! At least five million! We just lost five million!

Jeremy's face turned pale as well.

He thought they were the ones who got the deal, but they were the ones who lost.

She called Madeleine Clemons, her mother.

"Do you need my help? Have you completed everything regarding the procedures required to set up a clinic?" ask Emily.

"I'm at the last stage until now. All it takes is a few visits to the Bureau of Industry and Trade before everything is ready" Madeleine replied.

"Business will be difficult at an early stage, but don't worry! I am confident I will be able to build my customer base through my participation in the Global Medical Association Forum. Our business will be great after that!"

Emily asked, "About the forum ... Are you sure you'll be able to take part in it?"

"I've spoken to Susan before. He promised me to connect you with the leading doctor he told me about during the forum."
