Chapter 113

They will go to the Madeleine Rescue Clinic to check on the Sky Physician they invited.

 Zeke and Daniel wanted to find out if he was able to treat a stroke as mentioned.

 Susan wanted to come too, but she had to deliver her speech on stage immediately.  Therefore, he had to stay in place.

 However, she tells Zeke that she will meet him as soon as he is done because she has to introduce two of her friends to him.

 Zeke replied indifferently as usual, "Mm."

 Susan was helpless. Why is he treating me so casually?  I should have been a bitch!  Why exactly the opposite?  Are you seriously considering yourself a Man?

 There are a lot of people around the Savior Clinic.  They are invited by Madeleine to witness how the Sky Physician will treat stroke patients.

 Besides, the doctor is a stranger.  They can't wait to find out if it performs better than the local doctors.

 George was happy because he needed as much attention as possible to prove the validity of the news.  It was important for him to increase his influence.

 While George is in the middle of preparation, Daniel and Zeke finally arrive at Madeleine's clinic.  They were shocked when they found out what was going on.  The doctor that Madeleine had invited was none other than the one that Zeke had defeated.  In addition, the patient in the bed was Daniel's father, Adam.  The pale and haggard man on the bed was unconscious.

 They knew Adam's disease from the chatter of the crowd.  The audience told them that Adam had been diagnosed with an ischemic stroke.  Daniel's heart was sliced as soon as he heard those words.  Previously, he had thought his father had fainted because he was overworked back then.  However, he was surprised because it turned out to be a stroke.  If it really is a stroke, Adam should be rushed to the hospital immediately.  The equipment available at Madeleine's clinic is not enough to perform the necessary surgeries.

 In fact, it's been a few days since Adam fainted.  It looks like Madeleine doesn't care about Adam's health.

 Daniel rushed over and shouted, "Stop! Stop whatever you're trying to do! Madeleine, you're a very cunning woman!"  "Damn it! My father is currently having a stroke, yet you are using him as your publicity stunt!"

 Madeleine tried to stop him and yelled back, "Hold there! You have no right to my patients!"

 "It is the role of doctors to take responsibility for their patients! According to the rules of our industry, I was the doctor who treated him. He is currently in my care!"  "Are you sure you want to get in my way? Others will curse you if you try to break the rules of a TCM practitioner! I'll call the police if you try to do something reckless again!"

 Daniel was dumbfounded by Madeleine's words. Madeleine becomes stronger than Daniel because she has taken advantage of the rules of the TCM industry.

 Madeleine continued and mocked Daniel, "Hmph! You are the sly one! It seems like you are trying to block my way because you are worried that the Sky Physician I invited will defeat you, right?"

 Emily plays with her mother and says, "Don't worry! Please stay here if you are here to study! However, I will kick you out if you try to do something silly again!"

 The audience whispered to each other and felt that Daniel must be there because he was afraid that Madeleine's clinic would soon outperform hers.

 Daniel remained silent afterwards.

 Zeke tried to comfort Daniel.  "Dad, don't worry! You hold my word! I won't let anything bad happen to Grandpa today."

Daniel replied anxiously, "Forget it! I'll call the hospital and have them send an ambulance! If George can't handle father's condition, I'll send him to the hospital right away!"

 Suddenly, Zeke receives a call from Susan.  He raised the call reluctantly, feeling annoyed.

 Susan asked excitedly, "Master Williams, where are you? I finished my speech! I'll go and pick you up right now!"

 Zeke replied, "I'm in Merwin District."

 Susan replied in a pleasant voice, "Merwin District? How coincidental! My current friends are also in Merwin District! I'll ask them to pick you up soon!"

 Susan called Emily right after she hung up with Zeke.
