Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 100

Daniel was very grateful. "Thank you, Mr. Kingston. I appreciate your understanding."

Then, he opened the roller shutter and took his guest to the clinic.

Lacey stopped Zeke who was about to enter and said, "Guests we are all great people. Aren't you going to explain to me why they're all here?"

Zeke replied with an innocent face, "They're here just to support dad."

"Of course I know they're here to support dad." Lacey urged him for an answer, "I mean, why would they be willing to come and support him?"

Dawn approached the two and said, "Lacey, come on, the guests are waiting. You can talk later."

Lacey nodded. "Mm, I'll help receive guests."

Dawn turned to her back and winked at Zeke as she led Lacey to the clinic.

Brother-in-law, I just got you out of a big deal. You owe me one.

The Grand Marshal owes me a favor! I can brag about this my whole life!

In the Clemons clinic.

Emily had sat her guests down before walking out of the clinic. He needed to give orders to the restaurant to serve the dishes.

It was then that he realized that the Hinton clinic remained open.

He flashed a sly smile, "Hmph! You asked for it! Don't blame me after that for being cruel."

He retraced his steps back to his clinic and found Wilber, "Mr Wilber, it seems like people aren't taking your words seriously."

Wilber doesn't understand, "Emily, what are you talking about?"

Emily replies, "The Hinton family has opened their clinic again even though you have warned. I think they challenge your authority."

Wilber slammed his fist against the table, "Those bastards!"

Wilber then walked towards the Hinton clinic, his eyes gleaming with hostility.

The remaining guests had lost interest in their tea.

They huddled out of the clinic and prepared to laugh at the Hinton family's – laughingstock today.

Wilber approached the Hinton family clinic and shouted, "Daniel Hinton! Get out now!"

The Clemons guests stared in admiration as they placed their fingers on their identities.

Evan Schneider – richest people in Oakheart City!

Liam George — director of the Bureau of Industry and Trade!

Leo Kingston – director of Drug Administration!

Dylan Dickson – head of Merwin District Police Station!

Gosh, all these great people have crossed the city to meet at Hinton clinic.

Each of them is a big fish in their own territory. They are undoubtedly the most prominent and influential people in Oakheart City.

The Clemons guests were bad when compared to these people.

To them, Daniel was just an ordinary doctor. It surprised them like a sudden bolt that Daniel was very good at networking.

They all hope to travel back in time to stop themselves from supporting the Clemons.

Daniel is ready when he faces Wilber. "Sexy head Wilber, what's up?"

Wilber is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Leo Kingston, his superior, was strong enough to crush him like an ant, not to mention other influential gifts.

"Daniel... Mr. Hinton, congratulations on your opening," said Wilber, his voice trembling.

He took out a pile of cash from his pocket and pushed it towards Daniel. "This is my little gift, take it."

However, Daniel refused, "Sexy head Wilber, I remember you're the one who just closed my clinic. Why did you suddenly give me the opening gift?"

Wilber was soaked in sweat. "It was just a joke. ...I'm just kidding."

Leo Kingston scolded him harshly, "Stupid base! How can you be so irresponsible!"

"Wilber, you will be charged with abuse of authority and negligence in your duties. You will be investigated. Now, go!"
