Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 40

Their boss had already told them before, telling them that the boss boss's boss was coming today and his name was Zeke.

The servants imagined the big boss to be a middle-aged man with a big belly. They didn't expect someone so young and athletic.

The four of them quickly bowed in unison, "Welcome, Mr. Williams. We are honored for your visit. Mr. Williams, please follow me, your room is already prepared."

Zeke turned. "Dad, mom and Lacey, come on in."

The Hinton family.

They never expected the beautiful servants would show such great respect to Zeke. They even bowed to greet him.

They also noted that when the girls talked to Lawrence Herbert, they simply smiled politely in a professional manner.

The beautiful servants rushed to Daniel's side.

"Sir, let me take your coat."

"Mrs, let me take your bag."

Daniel Hinton's family was shocked by their hospitality. They awkwardly let the girls help them carry their belongings.

Then, in a daze, they let the beautiful girls lead them into the Grand Millennium.

The servants led them to the door of a very luxurious room.

Just as they were about to enter, Lawrence Herbert's voice came from behind them, "You?"

They turned to look and saw Lawrence and William sitting at an ordinary table in the hall.

Daniel felt proud and justified.

“My daughter-in-law is an important person. We do not need a member card or appointment to enter. Oh, why are you sitting down to eat in the dining room together? Why don't you go inside our room and let us show you what class you really are?"

Hannah was also proud. He instructed the beautiful servants, "Kids, please put our things in the room first."

"Sure, ma'am," the beautiful girls replied sweetly.

Only then did the father and son couple realize that the person carrying Hinton's belongings were the four beautiful girls who had welcomed them before.

Only one servant brought them in. He doesn't care much about them.

The turn of the Herbert family is ashamed.

Daniel continued, "Hannah, Lacey, you two go in first."

"I'll stay here with Zeke to smoke and talk to the Director of Herbert Hospital for a while."

Hannah hasn't shown off enough so she hasn't been willing to enter the room. In the end, it was Lacey who dragged him into the room.

Daniel and Zeke sat next to Herbert's family and gave each of them a cigarette.

Daniel spoke, "I'd like to call you to invite you to Lacey's wedding dinner. However, since we have met today, I'd better tell you in person."

William's heart was filled with jealousy as he spoke, "Uncle Hinton, how can you decide hastily about marriage? As far as I know, the two of them have not known each other for long. Better be careful. We can see the appearance of a person but we cannot see what is in the heart.”

Daniel smiled. "Oh! That's old history. Young people today have the freedom to find their own soul mate. We who are old should stay away from it.

Wealth is not the most important thing. Most importantly, they like each other. Furthermore, those without power and money could not win Lacey's heart. I have faith in his wisdom."

Immediately, Herberts blushed uncomfortably.

Daniel clearly told them that they could not compare to the wealth and power of his son-in-law.

Zeke smile. "Dad, let's go back to the room. Don't make Mom and Lacey wait too long."

Daniel nodded. "Yes, we have to go back. Old Herbert, come by for a drink later."

With that, both of them got up and left.

Lawrence did not answer. He smoked his cigarette out loud to vent his dissatisfaction.

A beautiful maid rushed to Lawrence Herbert's side, saying, "Master, smoking is not allowed in the main dining room. Please turn it off."

Lawrence became so angry that he lost his regular breathing rhythm.

Just a moment ago, when Daniel Hinton and Zeke smoked there, it was allowed.

When they leave, smoking is not allowed in the main dining room?

What kind of regulation is this?
