Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 54

Lacey can no longer remain calm when she sees the legal title Jeremy has with her.

He knew his steel mill was going to run out soon.

Lacey took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. "U-Uncle... T-That's too much!"

"I'll tell grandpa right away what's going on!"

Jeremy pouts once again. "You don't have to waste any more time."

"I can't get an official title if your grandfather is against that idea, right?"

"I mean, he's the one who suggested that I take over your shirt factory."

Whahuh?

Lacey's pupils suddenly shriveled. His lips trembled as he tried to catch his breath.

In order to satisfy Uncle Jeremy's greed, grandfather actually decided to move against me?

He tried to take something that I had shed all my blood, sweat, and tears for half my life!

He must be biased! He must have lost his mind to be biased to such an extent!

Lacey could no longer hold back her tears of anger. "You guys are so cruel! How could you do that to me!"

"Not even strangers would do such a thing!"

Suddenly, Jeremy lost his cool. "You damned brat! Is that how you talk to your uncle?"

"Do you want me to punish you based on our family's rules?"

"Get out of my sight immediately! I want you to take responsibility if the steel mill's operations are affected because of you!"

Lacey clenched her teeth and made up her mind.

"I'll take it all apart! I'll dismantle this steel mill if that's what it takes to prevent you from achieving your goals!"

Lily smiled contemptuously, "Dismantle it? Who do you think has the right to dismantle this steel mill?"

"This steel mill is built on our land. You don't even have the right to be here, let alone dismantle it."

"This is the legal right for a ten hectare plot of land. Take this and get out of our sight, or you'll leave with nothing."

Lacey suddenly felt desperate.

Clap it! Clap it! Clap it!

Zeke, who had been silent all this time, suddenly clapped his hands.

"Lacey, let's go. Worry not! It's yours, and only you. They won't be able to take it from you!"

Lacey, whose eyes were filled with tears, replied, "But... They have official titles with them..."

Zeke assured Lacey, "Don't worry. It's just a piece of paper. I'll get them on their knees begging you to take over the steel mill tomorrow."

Lily chuckled when she heard Zeke's words, "Kneeled? Ye? Why don't you go and look at yourself in the mirror? Who do you think you really are?"

Zeke stared intently at Lily and drew a circle on the ground using his feet. "You'll have to kneel here for a day if you want us to take over the steel mills again! Lacey, let's go!"

Zeke took Lacey away with him.

Lily spat on the ground after they left. "Who gave you the courage to make such a statement?"

Jeremy's cheeks flushed red as he could barely contain his excitement. "Lily, do you know why || insists on taking over this steel factory?"

Lily asked curiously, "Why?"

Jeremy finally told him the reason behind his actions, "That's because I'll soon get a deal worth a billion for steel."

"What's? A billion?" Lily was really surprised.

Jeremy grabbed his phone with trembling hands and called Emily. "Emily, I've got a steel mill. What about a billion orders?"

Lacey cried as they walked home.

It's too late! Everything's gone!

My efforts, my dreams, my ambitions! Everything's gone!

Zeke was heartbroken over what Lacey had to go through

However, he remained silent instead of comforting her because he knew Lacey would not believe her words even if she said her plan.

He decided to talk and show Lacey what she was capable of.

Zeke is determined to finish off the Hinton family.

He parked the car right after they got home and patted Lacey on the shoulder. "Lacey, go ahead and wait for me upstairs. I'll join you after I call."

Lacey nodded obediently and headed upwards.

Zeke grabbed his phone and called, "Evan, Lacey's steel mill has been taken over by someone through an unauthorized means."

"I want you to fool Jeremy Hinton and get them on their knees to beg Lacey for forgiveness."
