Great Marshals

Great Marshals
Chapter 17

"No way! I got it through the official channel! It can't be fake!" exclaim Jackson.

"I didn't repeat it. Go!" the guard warned.

"Wait? What's going on?" Lacey, whose eyes never escaped her parents, panicked. "They can't get in? Zeke... Are your guesses correct?"

"I don't guess," Zeke said as he pulled Lacey towards the gate. "Come on, that Jackson boy will drag your parents with him."

Jackson continued to fight at the gate. "There must be some mistake! Do you think you can bear the consequences of wasting my time?"

The guard smiled coldly as he threw the ticket into the trash and snapped his finger.

A dozen guards surrounded the three men with weapons pointed at their heads in an instant.

"the consequences? You must explain the fake ticket first. Did you know that faking these tickets put you on death row?"

Reality struck the three of them instantly as they realized that they were about to be killed.

"Wait-wait!" Jackson shouted while pointing at Daniel and his wife. "That's them! They told me they got the tickets and asked me to join them! I'm not guilty!"

The Hinton couple could not believe their ears as they stared at Jackson furiously. This young man is using us to protect himself.

"You motherfucker! You tricked us!" Hana blaring.

Lacey watched the whole incident and cursed Jackson. He quickly ran to his parents and said, "Wait! I can prove that they are innocent! The ticket belonged to the man there!"

"This is their daughter! He was just protecting them!" Jackson laughed hysterically.

"Funny. It's an honor for them to have us here. We don't need tickets" Zeke suddenly said.

"What's? Did you humiliate the Grand Marshal? Catch 'em!" scream Jackson.

Lacey and her parents turned pale. They didn't believe Zeke was still sticking with his actions.

The guard saluted Zeke and said, "Mr. Ariston, Ms. Hinton. I'm sorry for this commotion! Go ahead, pass the gate."

Zeke turned to look at Daniel and Hannah. "They are with me too."

The guard then saluted the older couple. "Master, Mom, I'm sorry for this misunderstanding. Go ahead, you can continue."

The crowd stared at Zeke and the Hinton so hard; their eyeballs almost fell out of their sockets.

The guard not only forgave Zeke for his words, but Zeke and his comrades were able to pass him without a single ticket.

All the crowd could think about was Zeke's identity.

"Come on, let's go" Zeke smiled.

The Hinton family followed Zeke through the gate, feeling astonished.

The guard then turned to look at Jackson and ordered, "Bring him in and wait for further instructions."

Jackson could only stare blankly at the guard while wetting his pants.

"Wait a minute. I'm innocent..."

However, before Jackson could oppose any further, the guard slapped him.

The guard looked at Jackson angrily and scolded the man internally.

Fuck those! Even if you are innocent, there is nothing you can do when you make the Great Marshal angry. If he commands you to die, you must die.

The Hinton family walked into the luxurious hall. It was filled with people they only saw on TV and the news. It felt as if they were in a dream.
