Evan replied humbly, "Sure. I'll work on it soon. I'll make him turn himself in tonight."
Zeke goes into the house and sees Hannah crying hysterically while scolding Daniel.
"Daniel! If you're a man, follow me to my father's place and face him! We have to get that steel mill back!"
"I've never seen someone as biased as him! Looks like that senile fool doesn't even think of us as part of his family! To be honest, I don't think he's treating us as human beings!"
"The steel plant is what we rely on! This is our source of income! Are you seriously going to hand it to them?"
Daniel remained silent and finished the cigarette he had.
Although she seemed relatively calm, she was also very sad because she did not expect her father would treat her and her family in such a cruel way.
He was in such trouble because of his father.
Inevitably Daniel doubted that he was not one of Adam Hinton's sons.
Although he was hated, he did not have the guts to retaliate against his brothers, let alone his father.
He knew what would happen to him even if he had to face Adam. Daniel won't help much, and he'll probably be beaten by Adam instead.
Hannah could no longer contain her anger because of her husband's behavior, "Get out! You don't deserve to stay with us!"
"You can't even defend our daughter! You coward! I don't need a coward like you!"
"Don't go home if you can't get the steel mill back!"
Despite being cowardly, Daniel could no longer contain his anger when he heard Hannah's harsh words.
"Shut up! I'll be leaving soon!"
"If father refuses to return Lacey's steel mill, I'll kill myself in front of him!"
Daniel rushed out of the house right after he finished his sentence.
However, Zeke blocks and stops him. "Dad, it's not necessary."
"Uncle and grandfather will surely kneel before us and beg for forgiveness tonight. They'll definitely return the steel mill to us."
Everyone was shocked and looked at Zeke in disbelief when they heard his words.
Zeke assured them with a determined expression on his face. "Trust me!"
Daniel turned and looked at Hannah as she tried to figure out what was on her mind.
Hannah remained silent for some time before she let out a heavy sigh. "Good! We'll handle it tomorrow."
Lacey looked confusedly at Zeke as her mind drifted everywhere.
Emily rushes to the steel mill as soon as she gets Jeremy's call.
He sneered repeatedly after he confirmed the authenticity of the law degree.
"Zeke, Lacey, I know that! You are no match
Me!"
"Hmph! He who laughs last will laugh out loud!"
Jeremy tries to flatter Emily, "Zeke and Lacey are definitely no match for Ms. Clemons. They are just parasites of society! Please don't mind them, Ms. Clemons."
"Md. Clemons, about the contract... Did you bring it?"
Emily showed them the contract she was carrying. "This is a tentative agreement. Please sign it after you verify the terms."
"The project for the large hall has not yet been launched, but this agreement will take effect after the project is officially launched."
Jeremy expressed his gratitude, "Thank you very much, Ms. Clemons. Rest assured that we will honor the agreement we have. I'll definitely return half a million that belong to you."
Suddenly, a black Mercedes-Benz walks into the steel mill and is parked right next to Jeremy.
A middle-aged man in a complete set of tuxedos walked out of the car.
Emily's eyes sparkle when she finds out who she is. He rushed to his side and greeted him. "Mr Geoffrey, such a trivial matter is simply not worth your attention. I'll be able to handle it myself."
Jeremy's curious. "This is…"
Emily explained patiently, "He is the manager of the procurement department, Mr. Bent Geoffrey."
Jeremy rushed over and bowed respectfully while shaking Mr.'s hand. Geoffrey. "Welcome, Mr. Geoffrey. Thank you for decorating our steel mill with your presence..."
Mr. Geoffrey immediately distanced his hand from Jeremy and asked in a heartless tone, "Go past the formalities. Who's in charge of that steel mill?"
Jeremy stepped forward once again, "That's me. I'm the one in charge of the steel mill."
Mr. Geoffrey nodded. "Big."
As soon as he finished his sentence, he gestured towards the entrance with his hands.
Two police cars appeared at the steel plant with sirens screaming.
Everyone is dumbfounded. "Mr Geoffrey, what happened..."
Mr Geoffrey sneered, "Previously, the steel provided by your company failed to match the benchmark the company set. This has led to huge losses for the company in terms of actual financial losses and the company's image."
"As a person in charge, you must assume responsibility and undergo a series of investigations behind bars."
